5 Simple Ways to Customize Samsung Galaxy Smartphones

If you're relatively new to Galaxy phones or to Android customizations. This video should be helpful. Now there are a number of ways you can customize to veil. Your Galaxy phone looks and the way you interact with it. This video I'll focus on just customizing the looks, and we'll talk about customizing interactions in my next video, but guys before we move on I'm trying to reach 200,000 subscribers it'll be great if you could drop a like hit the subscribe button and that Bell icon and now, let's move on the first and the simplest thing you can do to customize, your galaxy phone is to apply a team. It changes.

Your always-on display gives you a new wallpaper applies a new icon pack. It changes the way. Some of your apps look, for example, your phone dialogue, your gallery, your notification panel changes and even your system settings the way they look it changes. There are a gazillion themes available in the galaxy store, so feel free to explore, and if you really like a theme, and it's a paid one, you could actually apply for a trial, and then you can pay for it. If you really like it now, of course, you may still want to change your wallpaper and that's something you can do every day and there are really just two apps that I want to recommend here.

The first one is wall rod and the other one is crisp wall. Rod is great for artificially rendered and crazy, high-quality colorful, vibrant wallpapers. They are so well suited for AMOLED phones, especially like your galaxy phone, and you can see the collection yourself. It's purely epic unique, but let me add it is for about two dollars and while it's worth the money, you may still not want to pay for a wallpaper app, and in that case, I'm going to leave a couple of free wallpaper, apps links in the description below so feel free to check those out and the next app is crisper. If you're looking for some really well photographed pictures as high-quality wallpapers.

This is the app it's free, and it has like a very well curated collection of beautiful wallpapers from Unsplash and next you should definitely change the icon pack. On your phone like when you install an app you get an app icon in your app drawer right, and they're. Like a bunch of those, you can download, really fancy icon packs from the Play Store, free and paid ones, and make your phone look a lot more vibrant and colorful and more thematic. You know like they all look kind of similar, and it just looks really nice. There are some really good-looking, beautiful, icon facts available in the Play Store, but to be able to apply these you're going to need Nova, Launcher, just download it.

It's free, it doesn't eat battery life, no root required, it's safe, and it's really popular once you set it up, go to your app drawer and tap Nova. Launcher you'll, see your home screen. That's fairly. Empty you'll have to repopulate that, but that wouldn't take you more than a minute, just tap and long press and drag the apps from your AB drawer on to the home screen and once you're done just long press on the home screen on the empty area, go into settings and then look and feel over there you'll be able to then change your icon pack. Now I have a couple of those installed you may not, but you'll have to go into the Play, Store and download this once you do.

You can tap on an icon pack, and you see that you can apply beautiful, icon, packs, I've left some links in the description below to some of my favorite icon packs. They may be between $1 or $2 at most, but it's totally worth it, and it's a great way to support these designers and developers who do put a lot of effort to make these icon packs and to update them regularly. Alright. So now you know that you can apply a theme and pretty much change everything and the way it looks on your phone. Otherwise, you can also apply a custom wallpaper with a custom icon pack and make your phone look even more unique.

A lot of those icon packs that I talked about. They themselves have wallpapers that go very well with that app I couldn't pack in fact, so it pretty much saves you the job of hunting for a wallpaper that goes well with your icon pack, but you know if you don't want to download any app. There are still quite a few things you can do within your phone change. The way it looks and behaves there are some minor customizations that you can make without downloading anything. On your galaxy phone, for example, you can go into lock, screen settings and then into clock settings change the colors of the clock, as well as the type or the style of the clock, which you can actually see all the time on your always-on display.

You can also change the way your notifications look on the lock screen, whether you want just icons or do you want details? Do you want the background to be transparent, or do you want an around there? You can opt for dynamic, lock screen, varying the wallpaper on the lock screen keeps changing every time you plan on unlocking your phone, so you know that's sort of a dynamic wallpaper option that you can enable without downloading anything, you could go into display settings and then turn on edge lighting, but that essentially, every time you get a notification from a specific app. Your phone would have a nice fun lighting around the edges of the phone. You can obviously customize the color for each app and then that notification comes in and looks perfect on your always-on display when your phones turned off, as you can see right here, and that's pretty much how you can change or customize to where your galaxy phone looks from a very simple or at a very basic level. Of course, a lot of the customizations I spoke about are applicable to a lot of Android smartphones, except for the ones in the end, that's specific to Galaxy phones, as I said guys. All of this was at a very basic level, and I'll talk about more complex customizations in the videos to come so stay tuned and, as always guys, don't forget to drop a like hit that subscribe button and that Bell icon I'll see you in the next one.
