110 Reasons 4 OnePlus Watch...

Hello again Pietro here, thanks for clicking on by today, follow-up video on the OnePlus watch, it's not in the box. It's on my wrist. I've been wearing this watch every day for the last 46 days, except for a few days, because my son wanted to wear it, and it's been a good experience. The rough two weeks were extremely rough overall. The first month all of April, I felt like a beta tester, an unpaid volunteered beta tester for OnePlus, but an update just came out today and that's what we're going to talk about. I got a notification on the watch and also in the OnePlus health app, so we're going to talk about the update and what OnePlus has been able to do with the watch over the past 46 days.

The watch was announced on April 14th. I got it two days later on Friday, the 16th of April, so today exactly day 46 almost two months, I was gonna, wait until the two-month mark, but then this update came out, and it's pretty exciting. So I hope you like it. Let's talk about this 159 dollar wearable by OnePlus, their first generation smartwatch. Here we go ready shh.

I guess we could like to put it on the bottom. Oh, yeah! That looks good. So here it is, you know it's worn! Well, there's a few minor scratches on the glass more like scuffs, but it's worn. Well, I like the band. I switch back and forth between this band and a few others.

This is one that it came with very similar to the apple band. Where if you know just tucks right in, so this is the OnePlus 9 pro that I've had my watch synchronized with for the last 46 days and here's the OnePlus app. So if you're new to the app you normally launch right here on health and then right in the bottom right, just click on manage and there's a little red dot under device settings, click on that and then, if you click on device update, it checks for updates, and it says new. This watch now supports more than 110 sports modes and AI outfit watch face install now. So we can click, learn more, and then it has all the info on here.

Now you have more than 110 modes. Add marathon running function, add out AI outfit watch function, and it says that you should have at least 40 percent battery. Well, that's easy! The watch has had great battery and right now I am 79. If last charged this two days ago, so, whatever they say online they're saying about 14 days, I'm getting about 13. When they say, oh, if you charge it to 50 percent you're going to hit seven days, yeah, I'm getting more like six and five, but still perfect.

I just got back off of vacation and I didn't have to charge this once to update the watch. We just click update now sending update package receiving upgrade package, and now we wait, I'm not going to film this part. This part could be well. It can take a while see you soon about eight minutes later, and it's still upgrading and then inside the watch. It says the OnePlus health app and your device will be disconnected.

The update will continue on your device yeah. This is where they recommend charging it during the upgrade, and we're back 28 minutes later it's at 98. I decided to put it on the charger. Now. If we go to workout whoa, we have a lot more indoor running marathon outdoor cycling swimming.

Was there elliptical's new room, machine, badminton, mountain hike off trail yoga, and then we can click add, and we can wow taekwondo Chinese, martial arts, lower limb, training, chest exercise, bungee, jumping skateboarding roller skating, parkour. There we go Bruce parkour cricket baseball rugby and the list goes on physiatrist yo. I don't know what that is: meditation, okay, vipassana flow yoga, yin, yoga, pregnancy, yoga. We have disco, belly, dance square, dance, waltz street dance. Okay! Is that the same as break dancing? I think so off trail hike.

Awesome, please update. GPS expired. GPS info may cause slow location. Please connect the watch to your phone to update if iris info. Okay, that's pretty cool, so there you go now we have all 110 workouts for you to select and add: oh wait.

What was that ball games? Okay, hockey, ping pong, nice softball golf rugby baseball cricket. I think there's a list of all these on the website, but I'll just slowly, scroll and oh tai chi in depth, list of workouts buy OnePlus added as they promised 46 days later. Now this update might have come, there's even skipping. This update might have come for other users before I'm here in the US here in Utah. I just got the notification.

Yesterday, I've been checking pretty much every day for the past. Oh, I don't know, I've been checking a lot. So there's a nice feature right there. If you saw that when you do put it into good night mode or do not disturb it will track your naps, and also it prohibits certain features. So if I go to display and brightness, I can't do raise to wake because it's in bedtime mode now.

One thing I would like is that always on display actually automatically disables when you put it in the good night mode and currently that's not happening. Hopefully, they'll do a fix for that. As for the accuracy of the device, almost two months later, it's better, I haven't lost any steps. The always on display works great. I'm still getting a solid five days with AOD, so that's pretty good, actually, almost six, but it's worn well, they did a good job on the build, and they've delivered on just about everything.

They've promised. I did wear this watch for an entire week. This is the galaxy fit 2 by Samsung and I wore both on the same wrist. I looked like a big nerd just for you all. Let me show you what I found and here is all my data from my study.

So I wore the OnePlus watch as you can see, the Samsung Galaxy fit the Apple Watch and a couple of different garment watches over a period of six days and for the most part the data was pretty close. On this day. The 25th of may okay apple was quite a bit higher, but when I was wearing the OnePlus watch and the Samsung both on the same wrist- and we have a difference of not even 30 steps, the next day again, okay about 200 steps, and then we go to the 27th less than 22 steps really close, and then we go to the 28th. We only had what is that uh 900 steps difference, okay, where apple was about a thousand over, so typically the Apple Watch is almost always higher than the OnePlus, not quite sure why? But if you go back and forth, you know the accuracy of the OnePlus watch is getting closer to other watches, and if we look at sleep hours, kind of hit-and-miss here and there um, you can pause this video and look at all the data in more detail. If we scroll over to flights of stairs yeah, that's pretty it's its off quite a bit, so OnePlus watch was 20 on one day, whereas Apple Watch was only one, but sometimes the Apple Watch is off.

Garmin is usually pretty spot on, but I didn't have the garment on every single day and that galaxy fit by Samsung doesn't count. So the flights of stairs were more compared to apple versus OnePlus. So there's all the data. I feel that the acre has improved over the last two months. There you have it all right, hope you enjoyed the six days of comparison data and again there are shortcuts down below.

If you want to jump around in the video so now, let's talk about some new features of the OnePlus watch on this third upgrade just a real, quick comparison. I've been wearing these two all day, again 4631 and 4673, so pretty close when compared with Samsung and then apple. Let's see how far ahead that is: 4634. , okay, well they're, pretty close today within a few steps, whereas before when I first had the watch, it was way off. So this is the third update since April 16th- and this is one of the new watch faces there were 40-something watch faces now there are 50.

This one is called geometric, and you can change the little widgets on here. So new feature right here you can change the timer and one okay. Well, that's not that new, but when you choose that watch face now you can press there, and you can set a timer, and we go back to that watch face the timer. Countdown is right! There's just one, so I can't go back to steps just that one. So if I go to another watch face such as right here, the kinetic tracker- and if I click on heart rate, it takes me right to heart rate and then, once again you can do a long press, and you can change that value to timer to the date to weather, to power phone alarm.

Clock stress, you know whatever you want to do where you can remove the component, so not all watch faces, but some of them so retro rings. I'm not sure. If that's new, I didn't make a copy of every single watch face, but this is another new feature: the AI stylist. So what I did is I took a picture of the shirt I was wearing yesterday. If you saw that in the video earlier- and this is the watch face, that OnePlus came up with I'll show you how I did that open up one plus app, and then you go to manage in the top in the bottom right and then go to watch faces and right there, AI outfit says, take a photo of what you're wearing all right.

So I'll take a photo of my Donald Duck shirt here there we go, so I'll. Do the entire duck face and see what happens generate okay kind of cool, so it gives me those options. We're going to go with this one right there add watch face, and then it quickly creates that watch face for you and then pushes it to the watch. Samsung came out with this years ago. Well, I don't know about years ago and there's the watch face based upon the shirt that I'm wearing anyway.

There you go AI outfit, another new feature and then, if you go to all, then you can see all the various watch faces. Gear wheels, there's dynamic, minimalist joy, practical sport, and they all add up to 50 as of right. Now, cool stuff, cool stuff, a lot of questions on phone call quality. Let me show you a phone call that I made first I'll, show you the phone call quality when you're, making a phone call, and you can just hear this live, so you just scroll on down to phone, go to dial pad I'll dial T-Mobile, and you can hear how loud it is. So tell me: how can I help you today? So it's pretty clear now right now, I'm calling through the OnePlus 9 pro, but this should work for any android phone, and then you can quickly go to numbers, and you can, I didn't get that.

Are you having a problem with your phone, and then I can end the call? So now I'm going to play you a little video that I made of me calling myself and leaving a voicemail so right now the watch is about five inches. From my face there we go so uh. The watch is good. I should have brushed my hair before filming this, but so the watch is like right there. So now, we'll put it down like right here, I'll pretend I'm driving and audio check one check to hello.

So now it's right there, but this is really not that comfortable. So I think most people would kind of have it down lower yeah, so mic check one check two check: three, all right: it's been the following day with this one plus watch since I did the upgrade to build 52. I think it is and just got done from one-mile walk testing the accuracy, the one plus to another few gadgets. Let's take a look at the stats, so here's the watch so far, so good exercise, paused, and then I also wore you know when you're wearing lots of watches. It feels perfect to take them off.

So now we can do finish, so this is the Samsung Galaxy fit 2, and then I also wore this one, which I still have yet to publish a video on it entirely. This is the fossil hybrid collider, hr, nice watch and, last but not least, the Apple Watch six and there's the workout. So as far as the workout screens, you know different, but yet similar I mean you have mileage, you have your speed and all that stuff. We can compare these side by side. So that's pretty much it.

We have distance heart rate, and you can get to music controls on the OnePlus, but you can't leave the workout. I was kind of hoping they would add that. But you know when apple's first phone came out, you couldn't multitask either. So that's one really nice thing about Samsung fitness watches, apple, watches, Garmin. A few others is that you can leave the workout app and do whatever you need to on your smartwatch.

So distance yeah. It was off a little. Let's write down the stats, oh yeah, and if you want to compare it to this one very similar distance and heart rate and your mileage and a few other stats, but this one also because it's just a fitness tracker, you have to stay in the workout app while you're working out. So here's the accuracy test from my one-mile walk as you can see. You know I one plus did pretty good.

Actually so over here on, the left is the Apple Watch, this one right here, one OnePlus and then the Samsung Galaxy fit 2. So we have 2613 steps by OnePlus. Apple came in just a few steps behind with 609 and then Samsung 2592. Both of these were my right wrist. This one was on my left and then just for fun.

I also wore the fossil collider hr and that one counted 2500. The only really thing that were quite different, I mean even heart rate, all very close within each other for one reason or another, the one plus watch, even though it has auto paws on well it um. It was a little off on the mileage, which I thought it was going to be less because it was pausing so frequently, but it didn't. So there are my stats again accuracy. It used to be just poor and then, after a few weeks, OnePlus got to okay and now the accuracy is good to fare.

Again, I would, I would say that Garmin and apple- I don't have a Garmin watch nearby, but Garmin and Apple are definitely by far better with accuracy, but OnePlus is catching up, and it's really close to Samsung. So even real quickly on a heart rate test says my heart rate is 73. Come on one plus make yourself look good, 74 75 see right in line there with Samsung takes a little, there's a bit a little lag on the OnePlus and apple heart rate, 82 81 close, but OnePlus still has its work to work cut out for them. But again it's the first gen. This is the Apple Watch 6.

And for Samsung this is probably their like 12th device anyway, and that's it that's all. I have for today uh 46 days later with the OnePlus watch yeah. I don't want to say I'm impressed. There are a lot of things they need to fix, but they made a lot of improvements, and I'm glad we now have all 110 workouts, I'm not going to be able to test all of them, but I will test as many as I can, and I'll report back I'll, compare them to apple Samsung, Garmin and the other watches that I've been wearing and possibly Fitbit again. I might give Fitbit another try if you have any questions, puffy comments down below.

Thank you so much for your time, and thank you for watching mantra for today. Yes, numbers mean something and numbers mean nothing at all and let the credits roll for the paramount kid goodbye, wow.
