XPERIA 10 iii Review

In my hand is the Sony Xperia 10 mark iii. It is the first in the series of the mark iii phones with the one mark, 3 and 5 mark iii. Coming up later this year, this guy launched in june 11, 2021. I had in my hands for about eight days, and I'm about to tell you what I think so, stick around first thing: you're going to notice. Is this phone's long shape? This is a 21x9 aspect ratio and I have some interesting thoughts about this first thing I got to say my fingers reach across really easily. I don't have big shovel hands, so I can reach the q and the a and the s without any issues at all, and the biggest point is that this phone is excellent for multitasking.

On the top part. Here I can watch my favorite cat videos and on the bottom I can text my friends without it being any kind of awkward experience. I can see all the text clearly, and I can see the video as well, and it's just perfect, and the last point about the screen is that I noticed other reviewers complaining that it's not a 120 hertz refresh rate, this isn't strictly a gaming phone, so 120 hertz is not going to make much of a difference. In my personal life, this is a daily driver and 120 is just overkilled. I think next up we're gonna talk about the design first thing to mention is the bezel it's about five mils here and about eight mils at the top.

I think it's reasonable. It's not crazy, and it's not crazy thin either. It's just, just fine. Next, the volume rocker is quite standard. Uh, I'm not going to mention anything else about it.

One thing I do like is the power button which is inset, so it's really easy to get your thumb on it, and you'll always recognize it. This means, when you take your phone out of your pocket as you're lifting it up. You already unlock your phone and there's a third button on the side. This one here is the Google Assistant button, which I thought was going to be reprogrammable, because I was like yo. This is going to be epic, I'm going to press this one and get my camera mode, I'm going to press the other one and get video, but no it's just for the Google Assistant.

However, this button can be mad, useful because suppose you're in a heated argument with your friend, you just really need to prove them wrong. Sweep out your phone, no need to unlock and go are shrimps. Just baby lobsters shrimps are generally smaller than lobsters anyway. Moving on another thing you might have noticed, is this glass back here where you can see all my fingerprints? This can be quite slippery while on a table, but it's not too bad because, as you can see, this phone is fake, and the side here is made of plastic, which is matte, which means it gives it a really excellent grip. So I don't feel like I'm ever going to drop my phone last thing to talk about on the top.

Here you have a selfie camera, the earpiece and a LED notification light which is not turned on because no one messages me. So let's talk about some hardware on the bottom. Here you have a speaker. This speaker is really not as loud as I would like a speaker to be. In fact, I've had this phone maxed out since day.

One- and I cut my hand like this, so the sound gets bounced toward my face and yeah. It's just something to be aware of. On the other hand, there's a headphone jack, it's pretty rare in 2021 this means I don't have to throw up my expensive, ass studio monitors. I can just listen to music like a normal person. Moving on we're talking about the processor.

The processor on this is a snapdragon 690 which ranks 13th in terms of processing power. Now less powerful processors take less power, so the battery lasts longer, and this is probably why this phone is so thick because it contains a 4500 William hour battery, which gets me two days easy in everyday normal use. The processor isn't too slow, though I mean I'm still playing asphalt, 8 and not noticing any drop frames or any glitches, or anything like that. So on top of that the phone comes with 16, gigs of ram and 128 gigs of storage inside which, of course, is expandable to one terabyte via SD card. If you have a one terabyte SD card, I want to know why that's just like who needs one TVs in your phone man? That's not that's! On the bottom! Here you have an USB.

This is OTG compatible, so you can plug in your accessories and whatnot USB sticks or whatever, there's also NFC. So you can do your payments, and it also comes with 5g connectivity, but I don't have 5g, so we're about to see. I guess it just makes the phone more future-proof. Next up is the thing that you all have been waiting for the cameras. As we all know, Sony is famous for their cameras.

So let's get into it on the back. You have three cameras. You have a wide a medium and a 2x telephoto zoom, the white or the ultra-wide is an 8 megapixel sensor. The medium is a 12 megapixel center and the telephoto is also 8 megapixels. The front camera is also an 8 megapixel sensor, so if you're, the type of person who takes 20 selfies a day like this way, this way this might not be the phone for you.

Sorry. All of these cameras are stabilized and here's the video sample for the ultra-wide the wide and the telephoto. Obviously I'm walking pretty roughly, but I think the telephoto is quite shaky, but that's probably because it's a zoom lens, so you know what you expect recording modes. This phone does 1080p at 30 frames per second or 60 frames per second. If you really want to have like slow motion stuff going on, it also does 120 frames per second, but that kind of reduces the quality.

So I'm not sure if that's what you want to do on top of that, it also shoots 4k at 30 frames per second. But when you shoot 4k, you lose object, tracking and face tracking, because it's just really heavy on the processor, and also it does widescreen mode, which is that glorious 21 by 9 aspect ratio that you would see in all your cinematic movies. So if you are the kind of person who wants to make their videos and pictures look extra cinematic, the white screen option is also there. It's not often the case with phones, you know. So, let's take a look at the photos.

Here's a picture with the ultra-wide angle, lens, here's, the wide-angle lens and here's the telephoto lens. As you can see, the colors from this camera are quite dark and saturated, which is a very Sony look even though they're dark and saturated they're quite neutral. So when you go to post your stuff on Facebook and Instagram, you can apply your filters with ease, and it's not going to break the image apart too much also gotta say I am really digging the HDR mode in this. Of course, the cameras come with your manual mode, but the automatic HDR is quite nice and, of course, you want to see how well it does at night, here's a fairly well-lit scene of the Hong Kong skyline, I'm going to zoom in just to see just to show you if there's noise or not moving on one or two things that I personally really want to talk about. Is the user experience there's very little bloatware on this device? Normally, the devices in this price range come with a bunch of pre-installed apps that you're never really gonna use, but the phone company got paid to install them for you, and you can't remove them this phone.

Doesn't it comes with Netflix, Facebook and LinkedIn, and that's it very well done good guy Sony second thing about user experience is the actual setup. The initial setup is quite fast and after that the phone takes its time. It's kind of playful. In the way it teaches you how to use the phone- and I found it really, really good um. I wish more companies would do it like this.

It's just something that I'm like really impressed by well done: Sony. Let's talk about the pros and the cons. The first pro in my opinion is the shape I can use it easily. Multitasking is great. I mean the shape of this phone is perfect.

My second pro the Sony, Xperia 10 mark iii, is the user. Experience is actually really user-friendly. The main con of this phone is its quiet, bro, the one speaker. I wish it had two speakers, because two speakers is louder than one speaker, guys genius tap out bye. My second con, I might be nitpicking here, but I wish I could reprogram this Google Assistant button because I don't really use it that much.

So these were my thoughts on the Sony, Xperia 10 mark iii, if you're thinking that this is the phone for you there's a link in the description that you can click, and then you can buy it.
