What's up, everybody welcome to another camera comparison video today I have this Samsung Galaxy, s21, plus and Xiaomi mix 4. I know you want me to open this mask, but I cannot. We have to follow the rules and regulations we have to wear masks when we are outside. I have tried to wear something beautiful to make things pretty anyway. Please check carefully, which smartphone has reproduced my skin tone correctly, which one has reproduced colors correctly, which one has better exposure which microphone is working better.

Please check this carefully and let me know in the comment section one thing I must mention I had to buy this smartphone. Nobody has ever sent me any review units. I wish that Xiaomi Samsung these brands would start sending me review units. It was hard work. It's really a very tough task to put a camera comparison video together.

So if you find this camera comparison, video helpful, then please don't forget to click on the like button, and please subscribe to this channel. Well, let's start our camera comparison. Video! Usually I don't do this start a camera comparison with human portrait, but today first I want to share the real differences features that defines quality on Samsung Galaxy s21, plus you can take portrait photos in two different zoom levels. S21 plus uses its 64 megapixel sensor, tagged to its telephoto lens. To take the default portraits, it looks like 50 millimeter portraits.

On the other hand, Xiaomi mix 4 can only take portrait photos of its main sensor. No zoom no crop focal length is the same as usual. Regular photo mode photos. Subject: detection is similar, it's great even with complex and harsh background. Both the mix 4 and the s21 plus have managed to have balanced edge cutouts without any artifacts detail is excellent.

On galaxy s21, plus it's a bit soft on mix 4, sometimes skin, smoothing skin fairness, nose and eye enhancement. Beauty effect is very high on Xiaomi mix.4. skin tone is surprisingly similar, but colors are pretty much natural on Samsung, galaxy, s21, plus, obviously, Xiaomi mix, 4, saturated colors check, clothing of Jennifer. Also, have you noticed contrast ratio is a bit higher on Xiaomi mix 4. Now, as I always say, a lot depends on your personal preferences.

Among these two smartphones, you may select any, and it will perform Samsung ISO cell AMX, 108 megapixel sensor on Xiaomi mix, 4 and 12 megapixel sensor on Samsung Galaxy s, 21 plus as per specification. This 12 megapixel sensor should fall far behind, but Samsung is one of those companies who know how to get the best out of its hardware with the perfect integration of software. This is a perfect example of computational photography. At its best. I cannot sometimes deny Xiaomi mix 4 actually grabbed more details.

Sometimes there were more noise and grains on Samsung Galaxy, s21 plus, but in general, most of the time Samsung Galaxy, s21, plus generated attractive and true to life. Pictures Xiaomi mix, 4 falls behind in exposure, white balance and color rendition of course, sometimes makes for failed to maintain correct exposure, not frequently nothing too big, but there are random photos where I have noticed this problem. If you do not compare mix 4 photos with other flagships, then you may not even notice it sometimes white balance is really unusually warm and colors are saturated with high mid-tones in terms of details and shadows. Both did well, but I need to agree and mention more than 65 times makes for grabbed more details and processed textures very efficiently. Both have reproduced sharp images with good contrast, one request: if you are enjoying this video, then would you please consider subscribing to this channel without your support? I cannot do anything.

I always try to provide true content, but this channel needs your support. Yes, it looks very close 13 megapixel sensor on mix 4 and 12 megapixel sensor on s21 plus, but do you know that 12 megapixel sensor of s21 plus is actually a better sensor and that's the reason Samsung Galaxy s21 plus clearly won the battle of ultrawide photos. I have expected at least a 20 megapixel sensor for ultrawide photos on mix 4. Ultrawide photos of both these smartphones are similar to their main sensor photos, but, as mentioned earlier, Xiaomi has poor exposure. Fewer details and yeah dynamic range is also not as good as Samsung Galaxy, s21 plus Xiaomi touted about this new free form lens on ultrawide sensor.

But it's only a great feature on paper. In reality, there isn't any drastic difference. Have you noticed that both in main sensor and ultra-wide Samsung has processed sky, color and added blue tone? I'm a bit surprised because I have disabled scene detection anyway till now it seems this is a very close battle between these two smartphones, the main 108 megapixel sensor of Xiaomi mix 4, actually provides 27 megapixel images by default. Almost all the flagship class smartphones produces great photos in bright daylight. I have intentionally taken photos in different days in different lighting condition.

Both produced photos like a flagship, rich in detail, with almost accurate colors high contrast, high shadow and low noise, very good texture processing, but, as usual after I have checked around 50 photos side by side, I have found some differentiating factors. Oh, I need to mention all these photos were taken in regular photo mode. I mean auto mode. Yes, both of these smartphones have pro mode, but that requires time and patience and most of the general users doesn't use that mood in real life. I have turned off AI and scene detection to get the most natural looking photos.

However, I have left HDR on auto mode. Yes, when AI is disabled, the photos are more natural anyway, white balance is usually warm on Xiaomi mix 4, but there are rare occasions when s21 plus also produced photos with warm tone. Exposure is generally better on Samsung, galaxy, s21 plus, but Xiaomi mix 4 is not far behind. Dynamic range is mostly better on mix 4, but Samsung s21 plus have that artificial processing with perfect sharpness. I must say it's very difficult to judge in this segment.

I would go with Xiaomi mix.4. , yes, mix, 4 have a bit saturated color tone with high mid-tones, but mix 4 has a bit more details, which is truly important for me. Let's check how Samsung Galaxy, s21, plus fight against a periscope lens. Let's start with 5x is native for mix 4. It has a 5x periscope lens tagged to an average 8 megapixel sensor, but it is already proven to be better than 64 megapixel sensor of s21, plus, because s21 plus heavily depends on digital zoom.

Actually, this is really not fair to compare a 1.1 x optical zoom based hybrid zoom, with a periscope lens Xiaomi mix.4, of course, have grabbed more details, processed more textures with efficiency, exposure, dynamic range shadow and post-processing. Everything is way better, but once again warm color temperature and awkward tonal contrast makes the picture. Look more like artificial. Okay, we have talked about both photos, indoor photos daytime photos, but what about human subject? Is it the same? To me, this one is one of the most important parts, because I take a lot of pictures of my friends and family. If you want to take photos of human subject with these smartphones in regular photo mode, then the results are actually pretty similar.

Yes, depending on ambient light background and focus point, you may get some differences in outcomes, but differences are mostly preferential. Exposure and dynamic range is better on s21 plus. This is no rocket science. I have mentioned through the video. It's clearly visible.

Xiaomi mix 4 has slightly saturated the colors, but in human subject, mix 4 has surprisingly managed to get the correct skin tone, while s21 plus has reproduced photos with slightly fair skin tone yeah. This is surprising anyway, s21 plus managed to preserve more details on the subject with less noise and grains. At the background, while mix 4 like any other Xiaomi smartphones, has this beauty effect check the face of Anna? Not only s21, plus got more details. Lipstick color of Anna is correct. On s21 plus now check clothing of Anna s21 plus rendered almost natural colors, with better texture, processing, s21 plus, has produced sharp but not noisy, better shadow, but not overexposed photos.

A lot of people have been requesting for a camera comparison between Samsung Galaxy s21, ultra versus Xiaomi mix 4. I want to ask you: if mix 4 cannot beat galaxy, s21 plus with authority, then what's the point of comparing it to s21 ultra, I would rather like to compare this mix 4 with VIVO IPO 8 pro. What do you think? Would you like to watch that or do you have any other camera comparison? Video request, please let me know in the comment section below do you know that there is an international smartphone giveaway going on this channel? I will give away a Huawei p50 pro snapdragon 888 variant and an OnePlus 9r. Yes, those are used. I have used those for review, but I'm ready to give away these two smartphones to two of my active subscribers.

If you are subscribed to this channel, then what you have to do is to make valid and detailed comments. Please don't spam! Then you will get disqualified. I will leave these selfie photos and portraits for you check this carefully and make a comment which smartphone did better. I will select the top comments for giveaway lottery or poll amazing, and I am surprised when I was taking the photos. Furthermore, I actually was in a hurry and did not check night mode photos on site.

When I have started editing this video, I have noticed it. Xiaomi mix 4, is really far better than Samsung Galaxy, s21 plus in night mode photos. Yes, a lot depends on how you like your photos. Some people would argue that if night mode photos are not bright enough, if it's not visible, then why we need night mode, but I think there are four factors that defines a good night mode photo. I call it d-e-n-s details, exposure, noise and shadows.

I know definitely some of you may disagree, but here in this comparison, Xiaomi mix 4 got more details. Balanced exposure, low noise and shadows are far better. What do you think? Which one is better other than a Samsung fanboy? Everybody have to accept that mix.4 has done better significantly better. I think I need to test night mode photos of s21 ultra with this mix.4. comparing 1080p videos would be a waste of time.

These video clips were recorded at 4k 30 frames per second, both have is on the main sensor and yes, Xiaomi mix 4 can record at 8k both records, nice and crisp videos with enough details, but as usual, there are some differences which is more like preferential differences. I would say: mix 4 has done well, Samsung Galaxy, s21, plus, isn't as good as s21 ultra in video recording and with an inferior main sensor. It falls behind. I know, due to different color temperature and color grading. People may select different smartphones, but for me details exposure and stabilization is more important because colors can be edited, but details cannot be added.

Well, it's time to select a winner, and my winner is Xiaomi mix 4, but not by a mile performance of s21 plus is almost as good as mix 4, if not better in some occasions. But the reason I would select mix 4 is, I know: Xiaomi will polish its camera algorithm through updates and mix 4 will perform twice as good as now after a few months after one or two major camera updates?
