Xiaomi Mi Mix VS Google Pixel XL - Speed Test - Snapdragon 821

Good everyone, my name, is Alex and welcome to a new speed test for today. I have the Google Pixel XL and the Xiaomi me mix so in this video I'm, going to show some results for a couple of benchmark apps, so the amplitude benchmark and the Geek bench for I'm going to show you which device has a faster fingerprint scanner and after that, we'll open a bunch of apps and see which one opens apps faster, and then we'll check out and see what happened with those apps running. In the background, starting with a shadow me mimics, we have the Snapdragon 820 1. We have 6 gigs of ram 256 gigs of internal storage and running under it.6.0.1. This phone has a six point. Four inches display the 1080p resolution.

The Google Pixel XL has the exact same processor, so the Snapdragon 820 one. We have four gigs of ram 32 gigs of internal storage, running Android, seven and this device is a 5.5 inch skill, the quad HD resolution, starting with the amplitude benchmark here, the Xiaomi mimics gets a score of about 138 thousand and the Google Pixel XL scores a bit higher at about one hundred and forty thousand and moving to the Geek bench four here. The share mi mimic scores higher for both the multi-core score and a single core score for our first test. We are going to check out the speed for the fingerprint scanner, so the fingerprint scanners are sitting on the back on both devices, so I'm, going to lock the screen for both devices now try to touch the fingerprint scanners in the same time, and let me slow that down for you and I believe that the mix was faster, and I will do the same test one more time, but this time around the screens on BUK locked. So the screens are on both devices, so I'm going to try to touch the fingerprint scanners in the same time, and let me slow that down for you and I believe that the mix was faster for our next test, I'm going to start opening the same apps in the same time, first I'm going to show you that I don't have any apps running the background for either device.

So, let's start with asphalt, extreme and I believe that the mix is slightly faster, but we'll see which one actually starts the game sooner and yeah. Definitely the mixtures faster for that one, so wait for the pixel as well, and the pixel is taking a while all right. So, let's exit this on both devices, we'll leave it running. In the background, the next one is going to be FIFA, 16, and they're kind of. In the same time, maybe the mix is slightly faster, but them in about the same time.

Lets you are okay, so on the mix start the game up a bit sooner at the end, so we'll leave this one in the background as well. The next one is going to be Twitter and that one was in the exact same time, I believe we leave that on. In the background, the next one is going to be Instagram, and that was in about the same time, I believe so, let's just open a picture here so leave this one in the background as well. The next one is going to be Facebook and that was kind of in the same time as well. Leave this one in the background, the next one is going to be YouTube and again, in the exact same time, almost we'll just open on a video here and let's leave this one in the background as well.

The next one is going to be chrome, and we'll open the same mom website here and the mix was faster, but let's open on an article and again the mix was faster for loading that article they're both connected to the exact same on network. The next app is going to be Google, Play, Music and I. Think the pixel loaded that slightly faster the next one is going to be the camera launch. So I'm going to get this unlocks. The screen will get the one and lock the screen on this one.

So in the mix we have to double tap the volume down and on the pixel on the power button. So, let's see which one starts the camera faster, so they didn't work out good. Let's try that one more time and the pixel was faster. Let's try that one more time, so the pixel was faster for opening the camera 12 times, so I will leave that one in the background and the next one is going to be the GPS test. So, let's see which are not according to the GPS sooner, and I believe that the mix was a bit faster than so.

The mixer was faster for that the next one is going to be the play story and I think the mix started up a bit faster as well, and next we have Temple, Run, and again I think the mix was slightly faster, but let's wait and see which one actually in start sooner, so the mixer did start a bit sooner run for this game now I'm very curious to see what happened with all those apps running in the background there on the mix so more last app it's going to be the speed test, so we'll do the spit as separately on both of them, because they'll connect the same network. So let's try on this one, and I'm going to speed this up. So we get some very good speed on the mix, but let's check out the pixel and see what happens with this one, and there was no comparison that now, let's see what happen with all those apps running in the background, let's see if the mix has any of them are still running, I know that the pixel tends to keep most of them right. So, let's see what happen to that's for the extreme Wow, the mix actually has that one on running the background. That's pretty cool! So we'll exit this.

What we're going to market asking so, let's see here, FIFA 16, okay, so let's see what happen to FIFA, so this one had to connect to something I'm, not sure what it's connecting but didn't actually have to reload the game. So that's a good thing. So, let's go into multitasking once again. So let's see the next app. The next step was Twitter.

So let's find it here, so none of them had to actually do some kind of reload that, but I'm guessing. So this one, it's far behind, so I'm kind of the same. Actually, the next one, it's going to be Instagram. So it's still running the background for both devices, the next one, it's Facebook, and again it's in the exact same spot where we left it. Let's see what else we have.

We have the YouTube app so in the same spot where you left them and chrome and again in the same spot where they are before Google Play Music, it's in the same spot, so it seems that the chamois mimics doesn't actually kill apps in the background anymore, which is a really, really good thing. So this one it's still running for both devices and they kind of connect. In the same time, this time and the last one I think it's the Play store more. Actually we have done the other on the Temple Run 2. So let's see that one it's still running for both now and there you have it guys so on the Shia Mimi mix was actually faster for a few apps than the Google Pixel excel, and it didn't actually kill any of those apps running in the background, so I'm quite surprised by the performance for this form.

Of course, we have six gigs of RAM and the price of this device. It's about the same as the pixel. Actually, the pixel, it's still more expensive with I. Don't know why? Because you can see the difference yourself, alright guys, hopefully you enjoyed this video. If you did like it, press that, like button, don't forget to subscribe, and I'll see in the next one, thanks for watching.
