Xiaomi Mi 11 vs Samsung S21 - Camera Comparison - Which one is better?

What's up guys high here from high deck reviews, so I'm out and about brand-new camera comparison. The Xiaomi mi 11 versus the Samsung Galaxy s21 now front facing camera. The maximum resolution supported on the mi 11, is 1080p at 60 frames per second and the s21 supports 4k at 60 frames per second, but just to even the odds we are shooting 1080p at 60 frames per second on both front-facing cameras, so local park is freezing cold, but this has to be done. Both devices are priced quite similar, we're looking at around 799 and, as you guys are, I really want to know which camera is better, so simple point and shoot test, but beginning with the front-facing camera 1080p at 60 frames per second. Now, let's switch around to the rear cameras, so switching to the rear facing camera, we are shooting 4k at 60 frames per second now on the screens. Both video quality look amazing, stable, clear.

Now, let's put that image stabilization to the test, I'm going to briefly jog, and we're going to test that image stabilization to see which one is more stable, so time to check out some photos. The first shots are 12 megapixel versus 108 megapixels, just to see what it's like and, of course I will be comparing the bin shots as well. Now you have a slightly wider lens on the m11 megapixel shot, both looking pretty good and detailed you're getting more sky detail in the m11, and you can also crop into the m11 shot without any loss of detail. Now the next shots you see are from the s21 12 megapixel primary sensor versus the mi 11s 27 megapixel bin shots. Now I'm actually super impressed with both the colors contrast, dynamic range, the detailing everything looks perfect, even with this non-ideal cloudy day today.

Nevertheless, both doing quite well, the s21 shows a more natural color, but I'm actually leaning towards the m11 shots. They seem slightly better. In contrast, now some shots s21 does better some shots me 11 does better, but ultimately, both very good at taking photos. Now on at least two occasions, the s21 failed to focus on my chosen subject. However, the mi 11 had no focusing issues at all and even portrait shots look overall, much better on the m11 now quickly, comparing both ultra-wide lenses.

To be honest, there is not much between them, apart from the more natural color from the s21, which you can see by checking out the grass and the sky, both ultrawide deliver equally great looking results. So now we're back to the primary sensors checking out the zoom me 11 is in bin mode and not 108 so three times zoom versus two times zoom, both look equally good next, four times zoom versus five times zoom still, both looking good to me now check this one out. People 10 times zoom on both and the s21 has totally lost its marbles and look how good the mi 11 still looks. So you can see the advantages of having a bigger sensor. Mi 11 is great for zooming or cropping in without losing too much detail, and finally, here is 30 times zoom on both and they both look blurry, but still the 11 takes this round now in complete darkness.

We are testing out the night modes on both cameras. Now on the viewfinder of the s21, you can actually see your subject, but on the mi 11 you can't see anything and if I was to open up my laptop lid, then you can faintly see a little of the bottle. So, let's see what the results are like and the results speak for themselves. Yes, absolutely surprising results um. I totally thought Samsung had this one, especially because you could see more on the display me 11, you couldn't see nothing on the display, yet it took better shots in night mode in complete darkness.

You can clearly read the text on the bottle very impressed with the first night shot by the me11 in the next night, shot again, both shots taken in complete darkness. Both cameras did well this time detailed. You can read the text on the bottle. You can see the gel. Clearly, but me 11 somehow made it look like daytime when, in fact, both shots were taken in a totally dark room so impressed with both but leaning towards the 11 personally, so there you have it guys: the Samsung Galaxy s21 versus the Xiaomi mi 11.

Now I could have compared the mi 11 to the s21 ultra, but the ultra is nearly 400 dollars more in price and based on that alone, it's supposed to be better than the mi 11. Now these two phones, the s21 and the mi 11, are nearly the same price, so we're looking at around seven nine, nine and seven four nines. So if you were to spend under eight hundred dollars on either one of these smartphones, which one would you pick now, I did find the video quality to be much better on the s21 for the front-facing and rear-facing camera, but capturing photos in nearly every single mode. I found slightly better on the 11. So which phone would you buy? Are you more into photos, or are you more into videos now? There are, of course, many other factors to consider, for example, screen size, IP rating wireless charging, and I did do a complete head-to-head comparison.

Comparing all of these features, if you missed it, I will link that video in the description box, but in this video it was all about the cameras and the modes that we use most often, and it looks like the 11- won more rounds and gets the majority win. Do let me know in the comments what you guys think after seeing this test, which phone would you want for yourself now big thanks to all of you for your support. We have reached a huge milestone for 2021 passing 250k. Next, milestone is 300k, and if we can get that before the end of the year, I will give away something major to you guys along the lines of PS5 or equivalent. And that being said, let me know your thoughts by hitting the like or dislike button.
