Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, Note 20 Ultra Genshin Impact Gaming Test FPS Comparison

Hi guys welcome back to golden reviewer. We are here with another comparison today, and we have the Galaxy Note 20 ultra here with the snapdragon 865 plus processor, and we have the Xiaomi mi 20 pro 5g with the snapdragon 865 processors and the iPhone 12 Pro max with the Apple A14 processor and the game we are going to compare today is scan chain impact on highest settings. Alright, so let me show you: the settings I'll be using first, okay on the iPhone 12 Pro max are going to go to settings graphics and set it to highest. But then you realize that there is this bloom at low. We are going to change it to high and of course we are going to change the fps to 60. So there you have it everything on high or highest okay.

Let's move! Let's move on to the android devices here on Xiaomi mi 20 pro 5g. We are going to do the exactly same thing: let's go to graphics and set everything to highest, and then you notice, the bloom is low, let's change it to high and set the fps to 60. , okay. So finally, let's set the note 20 ultra always the note 20 ultra, let's go to settings, set the overall quality to highest and set the bloom to high and fps to 60. All right, that's it.

Let's start the comparison, then, of course I only have one account and I can only play one game at a time, so I'll play them separately and put a result together for you to look at right all right now, let's start playing the game and just to remind you guys, just like my every other video I'll show you the detailed fps and power record and give you an analysis of the performance and battery life towards the end of the video. So don't close the page early, don't miss that all right now back to the game. So what I can observe is that um, even from the start, the note 20 ultra is not able to maintain a stable 60 fps. That tells me the device has a rather strict TDP. That means the chip cannot perform at its highest performance.

Even if the device temperature is low. Okay, we are seeing something like 55 to 60 fps. It's not terrible, you can hardly feel any frame drops, but it's just something to take note of, while the Xiaomi and the iPhone they are both doing very close to 60 fps, almost 59 60, and so I have to say that they have a pretty strong start. Now we are one minute 30 seconds into the game, and do you notice that terrible frame drop on the Xiaomi? I don't know why it's happening in the device. It's not even very hot.

If you remember my previous test, the iPhone on iOS, 14.1 or something it has a terrible, optimization issue, and it drops frames like crazy for no reason. I suspect this could be something similar. Maybe it's just the early version of mini, not optimized for the game. Maybe we'll have to wait for more system updates to test it again all right now we are two minutes into the game and the iPhone can not do it any longer. I start to drop frames and I see the frame drops to around 40 to 45 50 fps, and this is actually pretty noticeable, while on the other hand, the Xiaomi is still doing a stable 60fps after that terrible initial drop and Samsung is just gradually dropping fps one, but at current stage is actually performing better than the iPhone.

I see it more around 50 fps, while the iPhone is slightly lower than that 4250. We are four minutes into the game and the Xiaomi is actually doing quite well here, except that sometimes it just suddenly start to drop fps and jump to a very terrible low, fps right other than that. Most of the time it's actually doing pretty well at 60fps. But then, if you look at the note, 20 ultra is still the fps is just gradually deteriorating and the iPhone after the two minutes. Initial job is, I think it's stabilized around there.

I don't see much change in performance anymore. Now, after almost seven minutes, we see that the Xiaomi mi 20 pro is still doing almost 60 fps, like 90 of the time, which is pretty amazing, and if you look at the note, 20 ultra as the temperature rises, the throttling becomes more serious and fps just continue to drop slowly and the iPhone 12 Pro max is holding its performance around there like 40 to 50 fps. Now we are almost close to the 10 minutes. Mark right, we'll finish this test at 10 minutes, and now the Xiaomi is still doing quite well. I would say there are some frame jobs.

It will actually drop to a very low frame, but only for a very short period of time and then for the uh iPhone and no 20 ultra still like uh what how they are doing before they are running at around 40 fps because of throttling. Now we finish the test, let's check out the fps record right, just as what we see in the test. Just now, the note 20 ultra actually start to drop frames from the very beginning right. The throttling kicks in much earlier than the other two devices and as the temperature rises as fps just follows: a downward chance right. It goes lower and lower and for Xiaomi mi 20 pro is a very complicated scenario where you have about 80 to 90 percent of the time you have a stable, 60 fps, which is amazing right, especially for Gandhi such a demanding game, but a couple of times your fps will actually drop to the 20 30 fps range, and it's very devastating for your gaming experience.

So it makes it quite difficult for me to say whether this is good or bad right. So, let's just hope. This is due to system optimization and the Xiaomi will be able to solve this in the future. Mini updates right. Then, if we look at the iPhone, I think it's quite clear that uh it's just because of throttling it can maintain 60 fps for the first two minutes, and then I think you reach some threshold for your temperature and after that, it just drops to a very consistent low performance status and your fps will hover be between 40 and 50 fps around there, and it could just maintain in that state seems simply seemingly forever and then, if you actually look at the average fps number, the note 20 ultra is very similar to that of iPhone.12 pro max note, 20 ultra s 46 and the iPhone 12 Pro max at 48. While the note 20 ultra is structuring in a more gradual way on the iPhone 12 Pro max.

You see a sudden job, but overall their average fps are very similar. Then, on the Xiaomi you actually have 55 average fps, which is significantly better than the other. Two okay and with higher performance, comes higher power consumption. If you look at the power consumption record, the Xiaomi is almost using up 6 watts of power, while the node 20 ultra iPhone 12. Pro max are quite similar.

They are using about 4.2 watt of power, but then, if you factor in the difference in battery capacity, you just divide the battery capacity by power consumption. You have this estimated battery life, the Xiaomi mi 20 pro having the biggest battery, but because of the aggressive performance. It actually only has 3.2 hours of battery life. If you play this game by higher settings, while the note 20 ultra actually has the longest special life, because it has a much larger battery than the iPhone 12 Pro max, but it uses about the same amount of power right and then the iPhone 12 Pro max has a much smaller battery than the other two. So we are seeing uh 3.4 hours of estimated battery life with the iPhone 12 Pro max. Okay with that um, we come to the end of today's comparison.
