Why I WOULDN'T Buy the Oneplus 9R !!

The biggest strength of the OnePlus has been the value proposition. The price range around 30 to 40 000 rupees. So while they were busy making some flagship, mainstream phones, uh this price segment got really heated up. So to address this, they did release the OnePlus word, which became a huge success, and, to replicate this it seems they are launching the OnePlus 9r for the Indian region, Indian market. So this is priced 40, 000 rupees! You can get some discounts, but how many of you really think it's overpriced do comment down below? Also, let's look at the current market situation, the competition and see if it actually makes sense. So, let's look at the iPhone 10r.

This has been selling under 40 000 rupees. This is already eating up that one plus share of around that price range, and recently the iPhone 11 also has seen a huge price drop. That's another good option or a distraction. There's VIVO x60 with snapdragon 870 and mass optics. We have the ICO 7 coming up with the snapdragon triple eight processors, just under 40, 000 rupees, and there is this Poco f3 the budget champion.

This is again coming up with 870 under 35 000 rupees, but if you can spend a bit more, you have the Samsung s20 Fe 5g edition. I mean this is more like an OnePlus 9 competition. I mean it has all the proper flex features. Apart from the build Samsung pay wireless charging, better camera, Samsung Knox, you get the idea. So in this context, does the OnePlus 9r make sense? A lot of corners have been cut.

I mean it looks like an average build with no metallic frame. There's no curved display. There is no wireless charging, the Sony, mix 586 is pretty much mid-range-ish and the 5g support is kind of poor in terms of band support. I mean you can see here. It only supports one band that is really disappointing for a phone of this price.

Also, the Sony mix 586 is found on the OnePlus note. Well, it's decent, but when I tried comparing it with the iPhone 10r, the tenor proved to be a better camera. Overall, despite having a single camera system, I mean people who spend this kind of money are high on camera, so the iPhone 11 could prove to be a big distraction. Yes, it doesn't have that beautiful display. There is no 5g, but yeah.

Nothing is really perfect. So, on the positive side, you have a very capable processor, the snapdragon 870, with that 65 watt charging. That is really amazing and, more importantly, the oxygen OS. I find this to be a very clean user experience compared to other OEM skins, so I personally would like to spend two to three thousand rupees extra just for this software experience. But honestly, I feel they should have priced this a bit more aggressively under 35 000 rupees.

Let's say if this was priced around 33 000 rupees now this looks completely different and looks like a very good value proposition. But this is just my opinion. Look I'm no hater of OnePlus. I use the OnePlus phone on a daily basis and uh. This is just my frank opinion.

Let me know what you think guys that's been it if you found this video helpful like and subscribe thanks for watching I'll see you soon.
