Update Your Samsung Tab S6 Lite for One UI 3.1, Android 11 & Samsung Dex ⚡️

Welcome back everyone, so Samson has recently rolled out the one UI 3.1 upgrade in android 11 for the Samsung s6 lite users. So here we are with a video on that and, as you can see, I've just upgraded. My Samsung s6 lite tablet to the latest version, and this is on android 11 as shown here and then the one UI version is 3.1, as you can see here so in this video I'll just quickly. Take you through the major changes that we got with this latest upgrade. So the first thing is the UI. It didn't change a lot, but the blur effect and the notification panel changed a bit.

The text usage has also changed a bit, but overall the major update here is Samsung deck. So, as you can see, DEX takes like 8 to 9 seconds to load up, but once it loads up, it's almost like a complete PC in itself and, as you can see, I can just open multiple apps here and then just multitask within each of them. So, as you can see, I'm just opening multiple tabs here, and then I can just go ahead and resize. It and place wherever I want, so DEX isn't a new thing. Samsung has been already putting this on their flagship devices, but putting this on the Samsung s6 lite, which is a budget tablet, is really a good thing.

So users are going to be very happy with this and, as you can see, I can control each of these apps separately and multitask within them, and once I minimize this, it just goes to the taskbar just like any PC or desktop that we use generally. So that is what Samsung is trying to promote here, and then I can check the apps from the other view here, which are apps that we opened in the normal view. We can check that here, and also we have a new UI for the volume controls. As you can see here, these are the different ways you can control it, and then I can open up the calendar and all the stuff. So these are the notifications of the normal view.

We can see it here so in this DEX view, you basically can't use the notifications from the top, so nothing comes up from the top. Everything is at the bottom, so this is basically optimized to use with a keyboard and a mouse. So basically it's like a portable laptop that you can use it and overall, the performance is also perfect. So that's it for this video guys I'll be coming back with more details on this, and, as always, if you like the video, please give us a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel and don't forget to click the bell icon. Thanks for watching.
