Unboxing/First Look: White Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G AND 4G By Lee-Loi Chieng

This is the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition so how did I end up with both the 4G and the 5G phone? Roll the tape. Get hyped! inside this bag is the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and boy do I have a story to tell you how I got this Phone so the Phone was supposed to arrive this morning as you would expect with any major product launch. So 9am comes, and no shop has the phone.10am comes ok you get the drift so long story short the phone came in quite late so I rushed into Dublin here to get the phone for you's so we can unbox it and take a look. So let's go ahead and take it out, I'm really excited to see what we got here. So this is the new Samsung Galaxy There's nothing in here but a receipt.

So what we got here is the White colour I saw a lot of people with the navy but I thought the white looked pretty slick I wanted to try it out and of course this is the 5G 128 gigabyte model lets go ahead and open it I'm pretty damn hyped ok let's open this. Just so you guys know I went all out for this videos I got this beautiful location so this video should look particularly good. Oh no the seal this is such an unglamorous way to open well I guess my warranty is gone on this. What's inside! Oh this is really nice so here that was graceful here is the handset and this is really pretty. I'm shocked by how pretty this is.

You got the triple camera system here on the rear you got the front facing camera with the pin hole cut out design this is a pretty nice phone from first impressions. So this has the Snapdragon 865 processor so it's quite a fast guy and of course it has the 128 Gigabyte of storage and the 6 and a half inch AMOLED screen. You got a triple camera system at the back I believe the majority are 12 megapixels and one of them is 8 megapixels and if what i'm led to believe is true the front facing camera on this is a whopping 32 megapixels. I mean what type of selfies are you taking? Like internal selfies are we back on snapchat now is that the state of quarantine that we're in. It's really just a hop skip and a jump until I'm back on Grindr isn't it? Let's see what else is inside the box so we got our please let it be USB C it's USB A on this side but I believe this is USB C yep we got a usb c charger and here we got the fast charging cable so that's pretty much it it's a simple box there's no earphones or anything pretty minimalist.

Unfortunately one thing we can't do right now is the 5G speed test because I was actually unable to sign up for a carrier today I actually forgot to bring my passport with me and sign up for some new phone service. So I thought now would be a great time to jump in with the update basically I was sold the wrong phone so even though I pre-ordered the 5G phone when I went into the Carphone Warehouse they had accidentally given me the 4G version and because I just rushed over to the studio, filmed the unboxing and had a few other videos that I filmed there I just didn't realise it at the time and it wasn't until I got home much later at night had the phone on and was using it when I realised that it was the wrong phone but thankfully I did go back in, they did exchange it, this is the proper phone now so it just means that we're doing a second unboxing it is disappointing just because you know it's an investment we paid for the studio, there was other expenses that I incurred because this was going to be a big launch shoot but look at least we have the proper phone now so we're all double checking the box better not be lying if the box said it's 5G then it's gotta be 5G otherwise I'll lose my crap. If you want the 5g version make sure you read and it says 5G on it, rookie mistake. You get two unboxings in one video how cool is that how many other YouTubers give you two unboxing's of the same thing in one go I'm pretty sure this will be identical unboxing, lets do the seal a second time all seals are created to be broken you'd think I'd get better at it the second time come on lads, haha there's the seal. So round 2 let's open the phone and lets see what's inside again I'm pretty sure this will be identical and yeah, it's basically an identical unboxing but here we go this is the phone at least you get to see it close up under different light conditions this is the phone and another thing that we are doing differently is in studio we filmed in S-LOG 3 we filmed in all that S-LOG goodness here we don't even film in any picture profile so you can see this is how it looks under a different camera colour setting so that is the white colour.

I think the white is really nice I was looking at some of my footage it was looking a bit yellow'y that was the sun this is pure white it's really reflective so sometimes you'll see even pink and purple shine off it almost like a CD. And of course here is the gorgeous AMOLED screen. I don't think the 5G comes with any extra's here's your charging set this is the exact same we got the fast charger and the cable. So now entering the passwords begin again. So I did some research online these phones are absolutely identical in every way, shape and form besides 5G connectivity so for that reason we are going to keep continuing with the video in the studio so I'm going to let you guys go here and go back to that original video but all the coverage going forward of course will be with the 5G version.

It actually makes my iPhone look like a bit of a slob to tell you the truth this is so pretty I like it. So let's go ahead and turn it on and get it set up. So setting up the phone was pretty seamless the only weird thing that happened was when I first selected my country it went straight to the camera I don't even know what's going on here and I don't even know how I fixed it but I managed to fix it and then the rest is just your regular Android setup and that includes some of the bloatware and having to sign into different services like Samsung. I love the finger print sensor since we're all wearing masks face ID does not work on my iPhone I love that this phone has both security features and yes the screen really is that gorgeous. So we just set up the Samsung phone and yeah it's running really smooth the 120 Hz has kicked in it's super smooth it makes the phone feel really fast and yeah I just downloaded a few apps I downloaded Covid tracker because that's what the app store recommended me but I also downloaded Among Us and it has installed on the phone so let's go ahead and play Among Us and see what this is like I love this game I got it for PC and when I found out that it came out for Phones I got it on my iPhone I stayed up until like 5AM playing it trying to solve crimes, stay alive and find out who the killer is.

Oooh public match, enter name, maybe not me, not me, not me. So another thing that I'm going to try out is a youtube video. so first off the screen is really super nice and the sound is really full both sides even though there's only one speaker grill here you can definitely hear volume come from this side so it's definitely stereo. Oh my gosh this screen the 120 hz refresh rate I mean Apple you gotta step your game up so obviously I want to test out this new Camera 32 megapixels lets see what it does so let's take a little selfie. I mean I guess it takes 32 megapixels to make me look attractive got some good Tinder photos as we go into this long sad Winter lets test out the dynamic range I'm here by a window so hopefully this who is texting me not that I'm mad but someone's texting me.

So there's good dynamic range from the testing because there is a lot of light coming in from behind me and my phone is still able to keep me in focus and also being able to see the background. And this is a front facing camera test with the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE I keep forgetting not to look at the screen and look at the camera. So these are some of my first impressions of the phone obviously I do need to test it before I can give any recommendations or telling you's to stay away this is just me using it for the past fifteen minutes I really like it the refresh rate the screen refresh rate is the first thing that's popped out on me and then another thing I really like about it is the speaker you know I'm a real sucker for speakers a lot of phones particularly when trying to cut costs have really bad speakers.
