Ultimate Protection! New Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G Case from UAG

Hey guys Eggman here and in today's video we're going to take a look at a case for the Samsung Galaxy fold 2. This is a case that I've been trying to get my hands on for months, uh it's from UAG, and it's the UAG civilian for the Samsung Galaxy fold.2. Let's go to check it out. I've been trying to get my hands on this case for a very long time since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy z4 and still there are certain cases that are hard to come by. So I'm really happy to be able to share with you the UAG and again. This is the civilian with military driver protection for the Samsung Galaxy z-fold 2.

Uh has several the characteristics that you would expect from an UAG product when it comes to how compact it is the impact resistance and the kind of protection that you can expect that you'll have, when you have this on your Samsung Galaxy, z4 2. So let's go ahead and check out the case, we'll see how it looks like when you put it on, and then we'll see. If this is going to be the next case for your Samsung Galaxy z42, now one of the things that sets this case apart and why I was really interested in- is that I find that there are very few cases on the market today that have spine protection. So, as we take a look at this area here, you'll notice that the spine of your z fold is going to be protected and, as I push in you'll notice, how it tucks away right. So it goes inside the case itself, which is a really nice feature.

This happens to be a civilian model, and you can see that the DAC has that kind of look and feel from the civilian line. Right comes out like this again when you close it, and we look at the interior you're going to find something that is really common with a lot of the cases for the Samsung Galaxy z4, and that is you have these contact points that have like some 3?m tape. That's going to keep the case stuck to the actual phone itself, because it is a little challenging at times. So you have one here here here, and then you have some contact points throughout that are going to make sure that it has a nice tight fit. You do have kind of like a felt material here in the back.

It looks like you have some bumper protection all the way around, and then it looks like you have some really generous cutouts. So let's go ahead and get our fold on this case, and then we'll see how it looks now inserting your phone into the case is pretty straightforward: I'm not going to remove the sticky tabs just so that we can just see how it gets inserted, but what you'll want to do is remove these sticky tabs so that it sticks as soon as you put it on it. I have not just for the sake of I did a lot of case testing, so I didn't want to go ahead and remove that I'm going to go ahead and slide this back portion in right into this place right here, and then I'm going to snap in the sides right here so that they lock into place right. So this is what it looks like from the side, so you notice how it has great protection here. We'll take a look at that in a second, but this is how I would snap in- and this is because I just haven't- removed the little plastics.

But first thing is we take a look at it. This way, a great camera module protection, so you can see how deep that is- and it's in an angle, so you're not going to have any kind of back flash situation on the bottom here. You'll notice that your cutouts are aligned, and you can see your charging port as well as your speaker, grille looks nicely protected. Your screen is also really well protected. Look at how much material is kind of raised above that pinhole mics, here again speaker access, there controls are there and then this is what it looks like on the inside now on the inside of this case, you're not going to find that it's raised significantly because again, if the case were to be raised too much, it's going to interfere with the magnets in the closing mechanism.

So we're going to do is we're going to just close it like this. You can see what it looks like and, first, you'll notice great spine protection here, love, it loves, love it right and then, as you look at the bottom, this is what it looks like, and you can see that it doesn't really interfere with the closing we'll put it this way. This is where all your controls are going to be. So it's easy to bring your finger up here, and then you know just unlock it. You know, just by putting your finger right there, you can see how easy that is to unlock volume rocker here, all in all, really, really nice.

I like the kind of protection you're getting here on the screen, you'll notice, how much depth there is here now. If I want to go ahead and open it just open it up like this, and again I don't have mine glued. So it came apart a little that wouldn't happy. It happened with yours, but you can see how that is and then uh pretty much. That's it there's all there is to it.

Uh, let's go and see if it charges now to test out the charging. I'm just going to use this uh this pixel charging base, and we're just going to put it right on top of it right here and see if it charges- and you can see it does thumbs up there, so guys that wraps up our review of the Samsung Galaxy z42 case from UAG highly recommend this case.
