Top 5 Apps for Galaxy Tab S6 (2019)

This video is brought to you by surf shark VPN, so after posting two comparisons and a full review of the tab, basics I thought it was time to share my top 5 apps. That I think you should download to fully take advantage of this awesome Android tablet, but before we continue here, I'd really appreciate it. If you people like on this video comment, if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions as the algorithm like set and will help push my content to more people, so without wasting any more time here, let me dive into the top 5 apps I think you should download if you happen to own a tab, s6, alright, so the first app I'd like the demo is called squid. This is a note taking application. One of the best I could find on the Play Store for tablets. Here us, let's create a new note: I, really love the fact.

You can choose your background. You know College worldwide ruled narrow, other styles, if you buy the premium, including you know, stuff, like planners' music notes, etc. So, let's create a new note here: let's do college ruled, so you have fine adjustment over your pen or your little input here. So you can change the thickness of your writing. You have an eraser option.

You can change the size of that. Furthermore, you have a lot of control over the colors. Furthermore, you can use you know in terms of their darkness and shade. Furthermore, you can also set a custom color. But let's take a note here: real quick, so I'm going to switch to the pen tool, and I'll set the thickness at 0.8 millimeters. So I have a class called critical thinking and yes, I am a lefty underline.

Then we can, you know, say today's date, which is 927 or the 28th I. Can't even remember at this point. So we can, you know, write some points. You know today. I was learning about truth tables, and you can draw like a diagram.

If you really want to you know we were learning about arguments in my class today. So I can write. You know like B horseshoe egg. If you don't take this class you're not gonna, understand what I'm writing, but I'm. Just you know kind of showing what you can do with the S Pen and this app here.

If you want to use a tool like a highlighter, you are gonna, have to buy the premium version. I have not upgraded to that right. Now. Obviously, you can add pictures you can, you know, have a new page, so you can have multiple pages in, like a notebook and yeah I find this a very enjoyable app to take notes in once again, you have a lot of choices with backgrounds and once again find control over your input. Next up, we have a similar category of app.

This is Microsoft OneNote. A lot of you guys suggested this to me. I have to agree. It is a very powerful note-taking app, especially because you have the power of the Microsoft cloud. So if you have a Microsoft account, you can access your notes from anywhere on pretty much any device that supports this application.

So, let's create a new page here. I already have a notebook I'm, so obviously you can type. So this is a note or I. Can you know, of course, have like a title of a course so maybe like my humanities to 202 or 203 whatever my class is so my last lecture in this class was about Hinduism, so I'll just you know it's like that out. So I can change the thickness of the pen here.

You know underline and say we're talking about. You know samsara, for example, the cycle of rebirth and then I. Can you know split it up into several aspects of that belief. Furthermore, you know karma Dharma Atman, you know, and then you know elaborate more on this stuff. So you know actions.

My notes are usually this messy I do write in cursive. You can highlight stuff. Obviously, with the integrated highlighter, you don't have to pay any extra for it like with squid. You know this is not a premium feature, we can select words, and we can resize them and reposition them. So that is quite nice.

So I can stop the pen input here, and I can actually insert pictures and, recording so say, you're in a class, and your teacher is doing a lecture say you need to leave the room, or you just want to have. You know a reference you can have this recording, you can stop it, and it will be attached to your text, and you can play it back. So yeah I found one out to be a very useful application. It's well organized, and again you have the benefit of having the Microsoft cloud to access your notes from anywhere with any device. The third app that I want to talk about technically isn't an app, but it is a launcher and obviously downloadable off the Play Store, and it is nova launcher and I absolutely love.

This launcher for this tablet. I do not like the Samsung stock launch that you get the one UI one I, just think that the icons are way too big with that. So with this you know, I've really been able to customize my home screen to my liking. I made a whole video on that. If you are interested so yeah I scaled, my icons down, so they're, not you know ridiculously huge, and I arranged my widgets just in a way that I want I, have clock here.

I have my weather, I have a Google search bar and my email, which is easy access for me, so I don't have to jump into the Gmail app every time. I want to check it. Obviously, if you know anything about Nova Launcher, it is incredibly detailed in terms of you know what kind of customization you can do. You can change icon size and the whole widget grid on your home screen um, you can, you know, change, animation, scroll, speed, a bunch of different aspects of the UI and yeah I, totally recommend downloading it or the premium one. If you want to buy the tab, basics, and you're, not quite a fan like I, am of the stock 1 UI launcher.

Once again, this video is brought to you by surf shark, a streamlined VPN service designed to encrypt and enhance your internet usage. Surf shark comes in quite handy when connected to a public network, say when you're staying in a hotel simply enable the VPN and bam your data is safe from potentially malicious machines and their users connected to the same Wi-Fi geography. Restricted content is also a non-issue while using the service, your favorite TV, shows and movies on Hulu. Prime HBO and many more platforms are available at your fingertips, regardless of where you are in the world. Search art can also save you money by counteracting price discrimination.

Your IP will no longer dictate what prices are shown to you when you're booking hotels, renting a car are making apartment bookings and, most importantly, you can avoid internet censorship when traveling abroad, maintaining access to Google services and other potentially banned platforms with code NOAA surf shark is offering you guys an 83% discount and one month free for signing up click. The link in the video description to learn more the next app that I want to talk about is Adobe Lightroom and I really do like it on this device, as the importation process for photos is very simple, with the Samsung files app here. You also get massive amounts of internal storage with the baselines have SO 128. In my experience you also have expandable SD card storage, so you can have even more storage internally with this device, with a micro SD card of your choice and of course you have access to external storage. Very easy, so I can jump into my files here on this SD card.

I pick out a photo that I took for a thumbnail, so I have a couple pictures of some iPhones here. Here's like a 10-hour picture and I can copy it over to my pictures. Folder so I can copy that and then, if I go into Lightroom, so I can find my photo that I imported right off my SD card. Add it, and then I can edit it straight on here. I.

Can you know, of course, edit the exposure which I will do with the light, so I can bring up the exposure? I can increase contrast. We can do some local adjustments with the spot, heals, so I can, you know color in here with the s-pen. It's a very great experience here. Having this fine input, we can make other adjustments with color. You know temperature I'm just doing a horrible edit, but you get the picture here.

We can adjust. You know, clarity and texture see the before and the after. So this is definitely a powerful photo editing tool. This app is a photographer's must-have and if you are interested in this tablet, you can absolutely get work done like this on it with its amazing, AMOLED display and once again, the integrated s-pen that comes in the box, the last app that I want to demo. Here, it's only available in portrait mode, unfortunately, but it is powerful, and I thought it was worth sharing with you.

It is called Viva cut, and it is an excellent video editing program. I have found on the Play Store so far, so you can import footage. I did so off my SD card, just like I did with my photos. We can add it to a new timeline press next, and we can actually get into editing this here. This is kind of reminiscent of iMovie, which is not a bad thing.

However, you do get more control over the look of your clip, so I can actually transform my clip and rotate it here, which I need to do. I can adjust the brightness of the clip, which is very important in making your shots live well exposed. We can adjust contrast, I know, I'm, doing a horrible job editing here, but I'm, just kind of showing you all the fine control that you have here: Vinny yawning, which is really, really nice. And then, of course you can do some jump cuts or split your Clips here. So we can press split, and then I can zoom in and then adjust my splits here.

So you can do stew jump cuts like you would in any other editing application, gonna just clip speed. You can duplicate the particular Clips. You can add music or audio and with the pro version you do get a bunch more features that are reminiscent of Lima fusion, with the iPad Pro, so you're blending transitions all filters. Unlimited layers are important, so you can have you know, pictures overlaying, video and video overlaying video, and you can export in full HD. So if you want to use this app, definitely get the premium version which cost 649 a month or $2.99 a month for 12 months so yeah. This is an excellent app that I have found.

Hopefully they will implement landscape mode, but yeah. It's a very refined experience very reminiscent once again of iMovie and some aspects of Lima fusion. So if you want to do something editing with this tablet, which is very powerful, you get this, and after I can 855 in here, it can definitely handle full HD, video, possibly even 4k video. This is a great app to get and the Enable wraps things up here. Once again, it really appreciates you if you leave a like in this video comment, if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions and subscribe for more content like this leave me a comment, if you want any more tab, s6 oriented videos also expect some iPhone 11 and iPad 10.2 content coming very soon, and as always, I'm Noah, and I will catch you all in the next one.
