Ticwatch Pro 2020 Vs Ticwatch Pro 4G LTE - Unboxing & Comparison

Welcome to what get reviews you legendary people- and today you already know what it is: it's the tick watch pro twenty20 model versus tick, watch, Pro, 4G, LTE model they're very similar, but we're gonna look at the design, the usability features. The difference is when it comes to quality aspects and then, of course, I'll run through some of the awesome stuff that these things have at the end. Anyway, let's get this thing out the box and see how it compares just in case you didn't know, both watches are running on Google wear, OS, nice little welcome message there from a mutt boy and here's the watch itself. We put that to one side for a second user guide. Then you have the charge cable, so they don't actually supply power, brick, just like the other one, but you do have the charging cable all in one proprietary charger. So there you go everything that comes in the box.

Now, let's look at the two watches side-by-side and see what the difference is. Okay, so here are the two watches. First, let's look at the design differences and the first thing you probably notice is the wrist strap on the two devices are very different. In my left hand, I have the 2020 model and in my right hand, I have two 4G LTE model. So with the 4G model, you've got this silicon strap here.

Full silicone strap very durable, its military standard. Then, on the 2020 model we have a hybrid, we have a lever and on the inside we have silicon, which has this kind of pattern, which is going to keep the watch on your wrist pretty securely without it slipping around too much, and that actually looks really awesome. It's genuine Italian leather, apparently so that's pretty cool. That's an interesting design. Difference then, on the front of the watch as well.

You'll notice around the bezels that are exactly the same size and dimensions and stuff like this, but the markings around the bezel on the 2020 variant, a much clearer, so you can see them there and white. The markings are there on the 4G variant as well, but they're much more subtle and is also this kind of textured Ridge right around the bezel of the 4G LTE variant. Then, when we flip them over you'll notice, the backs a slightly different finish. You've got this stainless steel finish here on the new 2020 model, and then you've got this I think it's also stainless steel, but it's just finished in black and when it comes to the charging connector and the sensor positions, everything is identical. The buttons are identical as well as same finish on the buttons okay.

Now, let's talk about the internals and the usability side of things. So, of course, the biggest difference between the two watches is the fact that the LTE version is an LTE version, which means it's got its own built-in IOM inside, which here in the UK, can be activated with Vodafone, and you can actually clone your phone number. So you have the same phone number for your watch as your phone. So if you leave your final home, you can go for a run or even leave the house an entire day without your phone, which is crazy, but it can be done with this particular model. So you can activate it and use it as your phone essentially and be anywhere to stay connected.

Then, when it comes to user interface, it's exactly, and I mean exactly the same. We're looking at all the apps that you would expect the tick watch. Apps you've also got the Google wear. Apps you've got the Play Store in there, so you can really customize this watch a lot. So you've got the hey Google feature on the watch as well.

At the moment, this one's connected to the phone, this one isn't, and you can actually use that to Google things or even do your home, automation and stuff like that as well, and I've just woken up about 10 devices here saying that when it comes to using this for sports, they are both ip68 rated, which means you can get them wet, not really designed for swimming. They say it is safe for pool swimming, but not so much for sea swimming, so no salt, water, ideally and here's a cool feature. ? both watches have its NFC, and that means that you can use these with Google Pay. So you can actually program the watch with your bank details. If you do this and I have tried this.

If you do this every time you take the watch off and put it back on, you have to put your PIN in, so basically it's a security measure to make sure someone doesn't just Nick your watch and start buying stuff, but it's a cool feature to have that on your watch again. If you have the LTE version, and you've got data connection, you can do that standalone with the watch. But if you have the 2020 model, it has to be tethered to your phone so that the data will work and therefore use the Google Pay feature so right now, you're looking at an OLED screen and once the OLED screen times out it switches over to an LED screen. So this is a unique feature for the tick watch, and it's the two screens combined and when it's using the LED screen it's using minimal power and that actually allows these watches to last up to about five days on one charge. Then, if you switch it into essential mode that will actually allow the watch to last up to 30 days using that second screen.

So that's really awesome too. Of course, you've got all the fitness stuff that you would expect like Google, where fit app. You've got tick, watches own fitness app. You can read your heart rate. It's got GPS, so if you go for a run at the track where you've been and all this kind of stuff, so it's really cool as well now having used to take watch pro and a bunch of other smartwatches, one of the standout features for this is definitely going to be the battery life and the customization.

The fact that it's on the Android wear platform means you can really play around with these watches a lot customize them get them just how you want it's not absolutely mandatory to use the tick watch, fitness app. You can basically just not use them at all and use all the Google stuff. Instead, if you want to- and it's even more fitness apps that you can choose from on the Play Store and then when it comes to watch, faces, there are tons of them, thousands of them to choose from, so it really is a great option. If you're looking for a Smartwatch premium materials, a lot of options, you've got these two right here. You can also interchange the straps as well, so if I wanted to I could switch the straps over these two.

If I wanted to really cool products, definitely recommend a tick watch. If you want to learn a bit more about these two watches, I did a dedicated video on the 4G LTE model. If you want to check that out thumbnails on the screen right now, you enjoyed this quick comparison between these two awesome, watches I appreciate thumbs up and if you just subscribe, you now want to find us subscribers.
