TCL 10 Pro Unboxing and First Impressions

Good day folks, Connor here from cw tech reviews back with another video, and today we're doing an unboxing of the TCL 10 pro just been released in Australia. Can't wait to have a look at this big shout out to TTL for sending us out much appreciated now. This has been out for some time, but it hasn't been released in Australia for very long. So that's why we're doing this review now, mainly for the Australian audience that want to see an Australian review if you're not from Australia. Hang around anyway hit the like button subscribe button and let's check out the tcl10 pro now. Some specs on this are pretty impressive.

This is retailing in Australia, for 7.49 did some of you notice beard's, making a bit of a comeback as well due to popular demand. Here's a couple of specs. I want to take note of 6.47-inch full HD display AMOLED. It has hdr10 64, megapixel, quad camera 128, gigs of storage, six gigs of ram and a 4 000 William hour battery. The color on this one is forest mist green.

Let's crack the seal. Okay, there is the phone TCL 10 pro that looks pretty impressive. I'm really surprised of how nice that feels on the back. It's got glass on the front and the back and an aluminum frame. There's your four cameras on the back two flashes.

Now the mate. The cameras are 64, megapixel, 16, megapixel, five megapixel macro and a two megapixel depth sensor. Now that 16 megapixel is an ultra-wide lens and the 64 megapixel is just classed as a wide angle lens see if there's any juice in it, I'll put that there for the video. This can do 4k at 30 frames per second, which isn't bad. What else do we got in here sim ejection tool, and you know that I always love when I get a case in the box.

Don't have to worry about scratching a brand-new phone while I've got a case on order from Amazon. You just go straight in, and it's protected from scratches now, what's nice about that case, too is uh. It really doesn't hide the phone, but it does have some writing there. That says, display greatness USB type-c charging cable looks like some headphones. Not sure if that looks like it, some headphones, always nice to get some accessories in the box and the charging brick.

Let's just go through a couple of things on the build of this phone before we move on to setting it up. So this dual sim first thing you can see there is a couple of sim card icons in the notification tray, 24, 24, megapixel, front-facing camera on the bottom. You have your speaker USB type c, two microphones and your sim card tray on the right hand, side, power, button, volume up and down on the top headphone jack microphone and there's another little port there as well. It looks like it might even be an infrared port. We also have NFC, and it definitely comes with infrared on the top here it was a suspicion, but I've just confirmed it by looking in the book.

Mist, green forest mist green now give me three seconds: I'm going to set this up, and we'll check out the camera quickly and all that other stuff, three, two one. Okay, so we're back. I have the phone set up, and I must say my first impressions are really, really good. One thing I really do love straight off. The bat is a display.

It looks amazing, but a little hole punched here, tiny bezels curved display. I mean it looks great, and it's 1080 by 2340 or something like that. We'll actually go in and have a look in the settings you can see here. It is a snapdragon 675, with 128 gigs of storage and six gigs of ram. The resolution of the display is 2340 by 1080 running android 10.

So it's a little off there, but not too far off I mean we only just got android 11 on the pixel phone, and it's running July security update so not too bad there either. Now I have been playing around with it. Like I said, and so far it is really fast and really nice to operate. I've got gestures set, but just you can see there how fast that is scrolling. That's really fast and a couple other things here.

You've got edge gestures here, we've seen that before, but it's nice to have. I mean it's not too over the top. It's nicely done. We have a smart key now on a Samsung. They call it a Bixby button.

We all know what I think of Bixby on the TCL 10 pro you've got single tap will bring up, OK go back, get out of there. Double tap turns on the flashlight. That's pretty cool two flashlights! It's like a's like an uh. It's like a car it'd, be like a deer in the headlights, headlights, okay, double tap again to turn off the flashlights and a long press launches the camera. There you go speaking of which, let's do my camera test- that I always do when I unbox a new phone.

The first photo we're going to take is with the 64 megapixel main lens, so we've got it lined up there, and I'm just going to tap the shutter that shutter sound is quite loud, but it is fast shutter, which is always a nice experience. I think the sound is a little slower than the shutter, so it feels like it's slow, but it's not. That is a really nice image. Let's go now to the wide angle, and you can see the difference so standard lens, wide angle, lens from the same height and then the next one we're going to take is a macro super macro. Now for this one, you need to be between 2 and 10 centimeters away from your subject.

So, if I go about there, that's probably 10 centimeters I'll go even closer, and that is quite a sharp image as well. You can definitely get closer to your subject with the macro lens now for the all-important selfie test. We all know that at some point in my life, I'm going to be like a top model, and I'll be making millions of dollars as a model, and it all starts with a selfie. Let's switch the camera around to the 24 megapixel front facing camera, and I can see already that I'm quite impressed with this image. You know what I like about that it hasn't over beautified me.

I don't like the cameras that make me look really beautified and soft skin, because that's not me, I'm not beautiful, I'm not soft in skin. Some cameras go way over the top with beautifying people, but I'm happy to say the TCL doesn't know. I don't want to give too much more away full review. Coming so make sure you hit the like button and the subscribe button, because the review is going to be very in-depth, we're going to go through everything with the TCL 10 pro again big shouts out to TCL for sending it out. Much appreciated.

Hit me up if you've got questions about the phone in the comments down below I'll, do my best to answer them and cover your questions in the review. That's it, thank you for watching, and I will catch you in the next video check.
