T-Mobile Home Internet Speedtest May 23, 2019 By Justin Hersey

Hey guys her see here, and I'm back with another T-Mobile home internet speed, test video. This is gonna, be an updated video. Quite a few things going on I'm doing this speed test on my computer I had a couple of people asked your know, run it on the computer because last one I ran on my phone, but yeah like I, said a couple of things going on since that last video um. They have done some upgrades to the cell tower near my house, the T-Mobile cell tower, and throw up some pictures real fast, the before and after alright. This is what the tower looked like before two upgrades. As you see, it's got like one two, three four antennas.

It looks like on it pretty just you know, you know it's pretty plain: I, don't know, I put two pictures up there, but yeah here's a picture of let's see if I can zoom it of them when they started the upgrades. As you can see the big crane right here, but something you know, it's almost like to lift somebody up there, but anyways yeah, that's and here's um after the grades. As you see, it looks like way different. You see, there's a quiet, a little going different going on here, and it looks like right there. This one right here looks like a band 71 antennae, so yeah, that's a huge upgrade for my areas, we're getting bad 71, and it is live.

That's why I'm doing this video there's going to be some look, there's a little improvement, so yeah, let's get started with this speed test. Don't open up chrome here! I just want to show you my signal, strength, I know, I'm getting three bars instead of one so yeah, that's a huge upgrade for me. So yeah I'm going to run a speed test on three different websites. Here. First, we're going to run it on the UCLA.

If I even said that right, I'm just going to refresh the page because, it's been a minute since I've loaded this page. So here we go. Going to click go and I'll. Let it run the speed test. I'm, just not I'm, not a big fan of the pain, though it's not bad, but it could be better.

As you see, I am getting since the last video I'm. Getting about you know about a 1012 megabytes per second download faster, and so that's I mean that's a huge difference for me in speeds and, as you see the uploads now about doubled on what it was on the last speed test. So yeah there we go ? first speed test, it's 74 mega, milliseconds of ping; sorry guys I'm getting choked up thirty-five point. Eighty-four megabytes per second or megabits per second download and six point: sixty-five megabits per second upload, I'm going to run it just one more time: I'm, not gonna, run it too many times. I run I'm about to a piece just so we can get a feel that you know is pretty much the same or in the same area, all right, 36, point, 99 down still 76 you're still in the seventies, I'm, paying I think it's going to be about 660, oh no, almost but oh, no 6.67 upload! So that's on Okla! So let's go running on Google speed test, see what Google arm shows I'm just trying to get a. You know kind of unbiased, just running on different websites, okay, Google! So far, it's got! 33 point for download my phone opened up, thought I was talking to it when I, say Google and on Google is showing ok 34.4 download, 4.20 upload, latency 97 milliseconds, your internet speed is fast all right. Let's run it, let's run it one more time on Google hanged up loads going way up.

Well, there goes it's leveling back off, don't know why it does that it'll make you feel like. Oh, yeah won't get about ten, but alright. This time on, Google is thirty. Five point: four down five point: six: zero up, um: seventy-nine milliseconds latency that time so, let's go over here to fast comm powered by Netflix I said that like I'm sponsored but yeah here we go. Let's click this one I had a comment asking me to run it on fast comm.

So this is for that person. That commented there's quite a few speed test websites out there. I just was going to use these three alright fast comm shows uh 336, megabytes or megabits per second. They don't show you the upload, so we're going to run it one more time all right there we go. It's 37 megabits per second down, as you see um, okay right here, that she shows the uploader I didn't know that I never used this website, so 76 million milliseconds wait and see 450 loaded deigned, and it's showing 5.3 up. I guess! It's still.

Excuse me testing that so yeah. If you want to compare this to my old, you know ISP which I still haven't cancelled yet because I've just been trying to run this in as a trial, so that was like four megabytes up or a five. It's its about a thousand percent improvement on my internet speed. That's that's just insane! But yeah there we go! There's the speed test on those three websites. I won't uh, pull up my phone here and uh.

You know: I am controlling my phone through my computer I kind of set this up beforehand. So we're gonna, see right here. I want to run on cell mapper I! Guess that's going to be a watermark, but, as you see right here, band number is showing 71. So the band 71 is now active in my area and is why I'm getting these? You know twelve megabytes per second improvement because of the signal strength has improved in my area. Also, I'll run it this way, so you can see it this way: band 71, so yeah, I'm guys.

This was a quick update. Video I don't know if it was quick, it's kind of in a way lengthy, but yeah. Now that I got a lot better upload speed, I will be able to get this uploaded quick, so yeah. Here's a May 23rd update video. It's almost a month.

Ian with this and I am seeing nothing but good. You know good things from it. It's the other day it was dropping down in the lower like 8 megabits per second I. Don't know if it was a throttling it or what was going on, but I, don't really live in a high congested area, so I would, I don't know they may still do de prioritization in low congested areas also via guys.
