Let's roll the rear, camera still features a 12 megapixel sensor with three lens selections, including the y 24 millimeters, the ultra-wide 16 millimeters. Then there's the new variable telephoto that gives you two discrete focal lengths, the 70 millimeter and the new 105 millimeters, making it the first smartphone to have a variable, telephoto lens and a dual phase, detect AF sensor in one.

This means you get lightning fast, autofocus at a very long range, which is just crazy, because this is also a phone now if the 105 is not enough. Zoom. The brand-new AI super resolution zoom to get a very clean, looking 300 millimeters, zoom Xperia 1, mark iii, still utilizes the beloved Sony alpha inspired tech with a similar interface, that's capable of a variety of automatic settings and manual controls such as raw shooting manual mode and basic mode with manual mode. This technology helps to get accurate, focusing when freezing fast moving objects, and it works in tandem with IAF.

If the sensor loses a subject's eye from the frame, real-time tracking AF will take over and keep tracking the subject in focus, rather than pulling focus to the background. The 20 frame per second burst mode is still here, offering tack sharp images of fast-moving targets thanks to the 60 calculations per second, the camera is making, while taking advantage of the 247 autofocus points that cover 70 percent of the sensor.
