So today, we've got lots to share about the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3, along with its design being revealed again. First up, we've got the display sizes from tron who issued a tweet that says the z fold.3 has a 6.23 inch external display and the main internal large display is coming in at 7.55 inches. Now, we've heard many sources advise us of a smaller display, and while many in the comments have been disappointed by this news, you need to put it into perspective. For a start, the external display is exactly the same size.

If the main internal display is smaller and the external display is the same size, then it means the bezels must be slimmer than we had on the predecessor. On top of that, the z fold, 3 main display is still 7.55 inches. Its predecessor was 7.6, so it's only 0.05 inches smaller and that's just 1.27 millimeters. That's literally nothing, and unless you were comparing them side by side, you wouldn't notice a difference. Samsung stated previously that they wanted to focus on portability with the fold 3, and I'm sure plenty of research has gone into this decision, and it's probably a benefit, not a downside.

On top of that, it's a LPO display to give us 120 hertz and not be too power hungry on the battery. Well, I haven't purchased a fold yet the z fold 3 could be my first purchase as all these minor improvements are going to make for a much more practical, folding device. Next up, we've got the reveal of the Samsung Galaxy z, fold, 3 and its color options, and it's everything we expected it to be. Last week we had elite marketing render from Evan class and now 91 mobiles have leaked plenty of images. They report that the images have come from an industry source who of course, would like to remain anonymous, but they show us the phone and all the color variants.

We get black navy, green and a light pink rose, gold looking gradient and all three color options seem to be matte rather than glossy, and I think they all look great, but black is definitely my favorite. They show that the z fold 3 is looking similar to the predecessor, but with a much more subtle, triple camera module on the back overall, the design hasn't changed much, but the focus has been on better durability and practicality. They've, reportedly figured out a way to stop the creasing in the center of the screen and, as we know, they've increased the thickness of the ultra-thin glass, and it now supports s-pen, although it doesn't house it in all. The marketing renders you'll also notice that there's a punctual selfie camera on the main display, but the actual phone is going to have an in-display selfie camera. The reason Samsung have chosen to show a punch hole in the renders is that so people know there is still a camera there.

It's going to be an in-display selfie camera, but it's important to note. It's unlikely to be flawless. The tiny display that sits over the camera is still expected to have that mosaic type effect that we see here on ZTE's attempt in display, but with Samsung. We are expecting it to be a little better than this, as leaks are now pouring in for the z fold 3. I can't imagine it's going to be long until we see what Samsung have achieved with the announcement of the snapdragon 8 plus.

We are also hoping that it's going to be the chipset powering the z fold 3, but it's not been confirmed yet with Samsung and AMD working on their own system on chip, there's a possibility that that could be used or even the standard snapdragon triple eight, but overall I'd say it's great news for fans of the z-fold three, and it's going to help the already increasing market share of foldable devices. For those of you like me, that are excited about the Galaxy Z fold, 3 we're now going to run through the specs design and the expected pricing to help. You guys decide if this is worth the wait for my regular viewers. You guys have seen this so just skip to the next video, but if you're new here then make sure to hit subscribe now, and we'll get right into it. So when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3, the main inner display is actually going to be smaller than the predecessor coming in at 7.5 inches. It is, of course, only 0.1 inches smaller, and it's going to be a LPO panel with 120hz refresh rate resolution is currently unconfirmed, but it's likely to remain close to the 2208 by 1768. We saw on the predecessor, and it's going to be the first folding phone to support the s pen.

This is thanks to an increase in screen protection with a 60 micrometer ultra-thin glass. Now the front display is reportedly remaining the same size as the predecessor and comes with a 6.2 inch AMOLED display. So if the inner display is reducing in size- and this display remains the same, then we're hoping for slightly trimmed down bezels when it comes to the cameras, we're getting a punch or selfie camera on the front display and an in-display selfie camera on the main. The exact lenses and sensors are not known at the moment, although we do expect them to be similar to the 10 megapixel wide angles that we saw in the predecessor when it comes to the rear, we're expecting a triple camera setup in the new subtle camera housing. And there are many reports of minor changes, if any so expect.

A 12 megapixel wide a 12 megapixel telephoto and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera when it comes to ram and storage, we're expecting the z for 3 to have 16 gigs of ddr5 ram, with a choice of 128, 256 or 512 storage. There were rumors of an AMD and Samsung chipset, but it looks like the fold three is gonna, be using the snapdragon triple eight. It's all going to be powered by a 4 275 William hour battery with 25 watt fast charging, and while it is slightly smaller than last time, with the new chip, efficiencies smaller display and LPO panel, then we should still see an improvement in battery life. It will, of course, ship with one UI 3 based on android 11, and it's going to be available in beige black green or silver color options. When it comes to the pricing, nothing has been confirmed just, yet we're expecting it to launch around two thousand dollars to two thousand one hundred.

We see the usual price increase so overall, the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3 is looking like an incredible phone, and it's great to see more innovation in the smartphone industry with plenty of leaked information coming through. We can be pretty sure that most of the information is correct, but with launch expected in August, then it's not long until we get the official confirmation from Samsung. Of course, as always I'd like to know your thoughts down in the comments so who out? There is excited about the z fold 3, and what do you think about? A smaller display, but thanks for watching the video, if you liked it smash a thumbs up, if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice, and I'll, see you guys in the next one you.
