Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs Huawei Mate 8 - Speed Test (4K)

Hey guys in this video I want to do is speed test comparison between the new Huawei Mate 8 versus the new Galaxy S7 edge. Now this is something you guys have requested a lot, and you know probably because this mate 8 is actually a flash of phone from hallway it's for 2016, and it is coming with Korean 950 chipset, which is like, while we're saying world's fastest chipset. You know blah blah blah. This one is having Enos 88-90 outscore chipset with a Male t-80 GPU. Also, we have 4 gigs of RAM on both phones, so let's first quickly boot up both of these 2 phones. At the same time, in 3 2 1 go I mean.

Obviously you can also see the difference in terms of their size. You know 5.5 inch on the s7 edge 6 inches on the Huawei Mate 8, really insane screen size there. This is gonna, be interesting. Ok, s7 edge faster in terms of booting up, and then we have the made 8 not that much of a big difference there, but still it's like 2 or 3. Second difference.

Ok, so I'm moving towards the apps opening test, and you can see that I have closed everything up in the background, so no recently used apps and on the mate 8 I can see that it's showing me the information about how much RAM that is actually free. So again, I'm gonna press, it doesn't matter. It says, 2.3 for gigabyte of ram free out of 4 gigabytes, so I think that's a lot of RAM for multitasking and apps. So let's go ahead and start off. First, we're gonna load, some heavy stuff, like GTA San areas in 3, 2 1 go interesting, stuff, offline, I'm, just going to start the game here at the same time and see who's going to be faster in terms of loading.

This game in three two one go: alright, the Beast wins the first app here. Definitely faster only made eight. So let's go back and do another game which is going to be sub base suffer in three two one go! Alright, let's see here: okay, okay, Galaxy S7 edge wow. That was really close. I mean that was really close, but still s7 s managed to pull the victory there Instagram in three two one go and I think both loaded, the content, but maybe they made a dose faster a little slightly.

I think you know it has the latest content here from this post. So let's go back to the Instagram and go to my profile. So in three two one go and seems like that was also really close, they're kind of hard to tell, so it just looked my profile. So let's go back and open up Facebook three two one go MMM seems like the galaxy. S7 did a little of refreshing there.

So very neck-and-neck performance. You know kind of hard to tell which is the winner. You know we do have the twitch application there we go, and you can see s7 edge, definitely pulling ahead and Wow made a took a lot of time there. Let's go back and open up Temple Run. Here we go another game, and you can see both phones are absolutely equal.

Yes, no difference there. Next off is YouTube. Here we go Wow very fast speed here with the mate 8, let's search something like parrot same thing here: I'm just going to click the same time and seems like again made eight pulling ahead. Let's just play this video faster on the s7 edge. Let's go back whoa.

What the hell was that that was funny. Actually, let's open the Play, Store I think I already did that now and very similar, but again I think mate, eight slightly ahead, so you can see. Definitely both phones are neck-and-neck, I mean one open that opens up app faster and the other one opens up feed faster. You know like we have seen we have seen on the s7. You know with the video streaming yeah, so yeah I mean definitely very similar performance.

So, let's see here again, I can see how much RAM is free on my mate 8, which is again 2.1 7 GB out of 4gb. So, but I can't see that on my Galaxy S7 edge here, so I'm gonna, do a browser test then offer that we're going to take a look at multitasking, okay, so for the browsing test, I'm going to be using the Google Chrome browser on both phones, I have cleared up all the history and all that stuff. So let's quickly load some websites starting off from wwe. com. It's a content, rich website.

So here we go who's gonna, be the king. When it comes to Wi-Fi and speed. Okay I think made eight think the made eight was faster here if I'm not wrong. So let's open up this article MMM see here again made eight slightly faster. Let's go back again feels like it was right close.

Actually, next off is phone arena; calm, Wow, really fast on the Galaxy S7 edge. No doubt about that. Let's open up this article, let's see here which one this one, and you can see faster, only made eight next off is Apple. Calm. There we go see here, hmm I think definitely made.

Eight is the winner again, but, or you can see, both phones are performing really close. Difference is very less. You know. Let's open up this link, learn more and I. Think again, maybe this time s7 edge may be a little better.

So let's do a quick little multi tossing test that you guys were waiting for, so I'm going to go back and load the first app or game which was Grand Theft, Auto Center, yes, in three, two one go okay, so loaded up nicely only made it as you can see, we are in the game, but what about the s7? What is happening here is actually a little stuck. You know, maybe, on this app are I think maybe on this map, I should say so: I'm going to go back, and I'm going to launch it again and again, you can see there's some kind of glitch. Obviously this is because of this a game. Okay, it's not about not not because of the s7 because of the optimization of this game, so I'm just going to launch some more apps that we had in the background. So let's go ahead and launch the Samba suffer, and you can see loaded up nicely on that.

Both phones, no problem there. We do have the Instagram here we go no problem. There I mean I'm, pretty sure that the main edge will go to go perfect here again, no problem whatsoever, s7 edge, looking good twitch Wow, both phones, refresh dude- that wasn't something that I was expecting but yeah one down. Okay, Play Store, see you place your hair load. It up nicely no problem there, Facebook, okay, we already loaded that what else we do have temple run loaded up nicely, no problem.

There, that's open up YouTube. This is going to be epic and I gained. Both phones aren't there, where we left them. No refresh lost, Lee, Google, Chrome, again, no refresh pretty cool, so definitely I mean they are performing up to the maximum level. So definitely really awesome performance on both phones, I think the Galaxy S7 sometimes have this apps closing because of the app optimization.

You know it's a new phone, so, so maybe app developers have to do a little of updating for this phone. As far as the maid 8 is concerned, it is performing perfect and, like I said it's the Beast, and it's its amazing I mean it's definitely amazing performing you know really equal into the Galaxy S7 edge, hair and, and also let's do a quick little would you say, fingerprint sensor, speed test, so we do have thing to be sitting on the back of the made 8 versus the finger sensor on the front of the building, a home key of the Galaxy S7 edge now. Basically, the thing here with the mated is that you can put your finger like this, even when the displays off, so the phone was still going to be. You know on you know it's still going to be unlocked, while with the Galaxy S7 edge you actually have to press the power. Key then have to your know, have your finger on it.

So let's do this test here, see if I do it at the same time, 3 2, 1, hmm, let's do it one more time. I think pretty similar speed, I mean made.8 shows this little of animation, while the Galaxy S7 edge. You know just get straight into the UI, so do it again now you can see in the reflection. So there we go okay. Let's do it one more time.

I mean yeah. Definitely equal performance there, so yeah a quick little speed test, not a quick video, actually a long one, but I hope you guys enjoyed it. So if you did, then please give it a thumbs up, also share it subscribe, and I'll catch. You guys in the next video peace out.
