Samsung Galaxy S21 Vs Samsung Galaxy S9! (Quick Comparison) By LoFi Alpaca

Welcome back everyone, let's go ahead and do another quick little comparison between the newly announced Samsung Galaxy s21 and the pretty old Galaxy S9. Now the s9 is not a ancient device, it did come on in 2018, so it is about to be turning three years old now between both the s21 by far is a better phone for sure you're going to be getting a much better performing phone and everything from the s21, but there are still some areas where the s9 is actually a better device than the galaxy s21. Now, starting off with the front, the Samsung Galaxy s9 has a smaller 5.8 inch panel, where the s21 now has a 6.2 inch panel, they're, both AMOLED and all that good stuff. The panel on the s21, though, is a 1080p panel or the Samsung Galaxy s9 panel is 1440p, so I don't know what they did there. I don't know why they, you know, decrease the resolution of the panel. I think the Galaxy S9 panel is actually perfect, even though it's you know three years old, the s21, on the other hand, is much lower resolution.

Furthermore, I'm sure the panel is still going to be perfect, and it's going to be great, but it's very weird that they did that. However, the s21 does have that 120 hertz refresh rate, which I think that in and of itself is also a perfect thing. So when it comes down to it, the front may look better than the on the s9 than on the s21. Now both have USB type c ports on the bottom. The s9 does have the headphone jack, which is great, but the Galaxy S9 also has a micro SD card slot, which is so insane to me, because the galaxy s 21 actually does not have any micro SD card slot inside it at all, and this is another weird thing that Samsung has done.

I don't get why they did that because they still sell micros cards, so it's just kind of like a backwards kind of thing they did, but at the end of the day it is what it is, but I still really like how the Galaxy S9 has that type of capability. Now, on the back another big thing, the Galaxy S9 has a glass back where the Samsung Galaxy s21 has a plastic back on the device. This is another very strange thing and I don't really even understand why they did this again. They did it with the note 20, and now they did it with this device as well. So it's another pretty big thing in my opinion, so when it comes down to it, the Galaxy S9 may actually end up feeling like a better phone in the hand than the Samsung Galaxy s21.

Now, on top of that kind of, I guess, moving on to the next portion, the Samsung Galaxy s21 is going to be lasting longer than the Galaxy S9 as well when it comes down to the whole entire software standpoint. So that may be another kind of important thing to keep in mind again. It may not be like a huge thing, but you know the s9 is definitely outdated. Already, it's not getting android 11 aka, 1 ua3, so we're already outdated when it comes down to that performance is also going to be much better. On the Samsung Galaxy s, 21 as well you're, getting that Qualcomm snapdragon 808 chipsets, with eight gigs of ram with the Galaxy S9, has that Qualcomm snapdragon 845 chipsets, with four gigabytes of ram, so you're getting twice the amount of ram which is perfect, so you're getting a really fast phone from the s21.

The s9, I think, was fast at the time, but definitely the s21 is gonna, be a faster phone for sure and battery life. Wise you're, going to be getting a 1.000 million power increase going from the Galaxy S9 to the s21 you're, going to be getting a 3000 William hour battery on the s9, but a 4 000 million power battery on the s21, so you're definitely getting a much better battery life. You know, theoretically, on the s21 than on the s9, and even the camera setup is better on the s21 you're getting you know, a single camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy s9, where you're getting that wide angle, telephoto and ultra-wide angle, lenses on the Samsung Galaxy s21. So that is another huge area where the s21 pretty much wins at, and you also have the ability of shooting 8k videos and all that good stuff. So definitely when it comes down to it, the s21 is a far better phone than the s9, but there are some areas where the Galaxy S9 may be better.

You know, I don't think it's better in every single category, but it's still very interesting how the s9 may win in some categories, so that really pretty much covers it up.
