Hey guys welcome to this unboxing video of the Samsung s 20 ultra 5g smartphone, with 256 gigabytes of internal storage. This retailed in Hong Kong for 9,998 Hong Kong dollars. It also has three years warranty for slightly extra, but this handset is 9,998 Hong Kong dollars. Now, if we look on the side, you can see what kind of phone it is: okay, SM g, 9, 8, 8, 0, 256 gigabytes of internal memory. It's also got 12 gigabytes of RAM and this is the cosmic gray model. Okay- and this is a box of course, so Samsung Galaxy s, 20 ultra 5g, so let's open the seal, just get a pair of scissors, and we'll just cut this okay good and let's open the box and see what's inside okay.

So what we have is the handset, so I'll just pop this out of the box. Apparently this is a 8k camera. I haven't actually tested it yet in the shop. So this is going to be very special, but that's what the camera? The external camera looks like see, all the different lenses and so forth. Sorry, there's a bit of reflection, so you can see that's quite a bit there, cosmic gray, so it is gray color quite naturally, and let's take off the wrapping all right.

Let's do this, alright, so we'll take this off and right, okay, good! Now, let's turn this thing on there. We go right so, while that is powering up we'll just put that down for a moment, and we'll, let's dig into this box, so that's got a serial number cosmic-ray. Okay, we'll put that aside. Let's look inside this box, so we'll just wait for that. Okay, piece of black cardboard, we have a charger which looks like this so because we're in Hong Kong will use the UK plug.

So it's a three prong charger square or rectangle shape USB type-c charger. So there should be a USB, type-c, cable. Also, I thought there was something in there, but no there's nothing in there. There's a box here, let's see what's in here, I think this is the cable USB, type-c, cable yep. Let's have a look USB type-c, let's just yep, it is USB type-c great! Ok, so we just plug that in there.

Like this, and let's just take a look alright, so the output, the output is 15 watt. Ok, it's a 15 watt charger. So sorry, you can't actually see the plug socket, but I'm going to plug this in right. Now, let's put that there just for now it is plugged into the mains. So let's open up this other books.

So what's this? Oh, oh! These are oh, these are headphones. Oh, they got different types of rubber ends for the different sized ear hole. Alright! So well we got, so we've got earphones, they are USB, no USB type-c earphones. They have to be yes, I thought we were gonna, get Wireless ones, but seems a little better, just not that I've used them before but seems a little better than what Apple gives you. Didn't know that. Oh, how cool is that they give you a case. Yeah, Apple! doesn't do that? Oh, why am I not surprised? Okay, here we go. It's there's anything else in the box, I haven't opened a lot of these Samsung products. I have to admit so um.

This is all new to me, so some instructions about how to use Samsung pay. This is in Chinese. You could use thumbprint and oh you like Apple Pay pretty similar yeah, it's all in Chinese, and you can also use your phone as an octopus card. That is like a pre-stored value card. You can, it's a card, you can top up your money, and you can use it to pay for public transport and food and stuff.

It's all in Chinese, but I understand what it is there we go, so I'm gonna. Put that aside all right. Let's sum that we got here. This is a warranty card, really usual bits and bobs. What's this some instructions about how to insert the SIM card English and Chinese, because we are in Hong Kong, so yeah, okay, right, let's take a look at the phone once we get all this out of the way.

So, let's take a look now I said we were going to use earphones away, except we were going to keep that case there. But I said we were going to plug this in. So let's plug this in, so we might as well take a look I'm assuming this doesn't have a headphone jack. So what do we get? We got USB type-c plug there or a connector port there. Yes, that's the volume control and what else have we got? Hmm, I think that's that's for the SIM card slot right.

So first I need to change the language. So if I just press, this will do English United Kingdom I apologize about these wavy lines, it's just the nature of the camera. That's doing that, but I don't see the wavy lines. Only the camera sees it. So I do apologize about that.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to make it United States it's a bit more common in Hong Kong right. So no it talks all right, so just go through all the usual ballyhoo network wow. It actually speaks awesome. Okay, so these are just my own networks, so I'll just sort this out. Okay, just give me a moment right, I've, just punched in the password and press connect.

Okay, we're on let's go to next checking for updates installing the updates now keep in mind. I haven't installed the SIM card yet so just bear with me for a moment just want to check this to make sure we know how to do it. Yeah, the SIM card and the memory card tray is at the top. The top left corner of the phone right and front camera back camera fingerprint recognition sensor should be. Is that on the no it's on the front? Okay, installing a NATO SIM card? Okay! Well, let's take the tray out I suppose we could do it while it's up, while it's checking for updates.

So, let's just try that, let's pick this up and let's let's give this a try, so we'll prick this bit right, there's the tray! Let's eject this thing, all right: let's pull this out! Okay, brilliant! Now what we have is we have one for the SIM card and one for the SD card. If you want to have more than 256 gigabytes of storage and as a matter of fact, we do have a Sims, an SD card that we can use. So here's a SD card that we can use, so I'm going to take this out. Well, just let's just cut this thing, this came free with the phone. This was bundled, so I didn't have to pay extra for this one all right, there's the SIM card.

Sorry, the SD card I keep mixing up those names, SD card and SIM card, or micro SDC US card. You would just Warner AHSI depending on where you come from. Okay. So let's see alright, so it clearly says that I don't know if you could see that it says alright sim1. Oh my co, st goes on the right-hand side.

It should fit snugly like that, if not there's a problem, great yep, it's 256 gigabytes, take a look 256, and we're going to put the sim card on the right-hand side. So if we just take that I'm, just going to jam that in sorry I'm losing the focus okay right, so we've got ourselves an SD card and a SIM card, NATO SIM to be specific, and we'll just jam there back in to the phone and what to do the trick. It's just trying to ensure that if I do bring this underwater, I have to make sure that trey is not opened. Otherwise, it could seep in and wreck the phone. Alright.

So now it's going to get my info from my Google account. So I'm just going to put this away put that side. Your Google Assistant is built-in to your new phone all right. So it's a bit like Siri I, guess on the Apple back up to Google, Drive use location, allows scanning usage, yep, that's fine, I'm! Alright, with that protect your phone face, recognition, fingerprints, patent! Well, let's try fingerprints, because this is going to be fascinating. Can you actually take fingerprints based on the screen? Because? Obviously, there's no button, it's all just one big screen other than the buttons on the side, but let's give it.

No, that is cool. Okay. If we go to settings I just I'm really interested about this camera and see, let's go back to the camera. If we press this button there we go so rear video. Ok, we have all these different two resolutions.

We can use. Wow, we've got a K and battery must run out really fast boy Wow. So you can, you can do 60 frames. This selected resolution doesn't support tracking autofocus and video effects, yeah, always a catch when you, when you increase the resolution and the end the frame rate. Well, let's have a look at this Wow 8k, so the front camera or the selfie camera can do.

Oh, you can actually wow you can well. It's got It's got a 4k front-facing camera Wow.
