Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Full Review After 30 days of Usage | Snapdragon 865 | Camera Test | [Hindi]

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Is the phone as good as it sounds? We'll find in this video. I have used this phone for 30 days as my primary smartphone and I will share my experience in this video. What was my experience using this phone as my primary smartphone? Will I be using it in the future as my primary smartphone? I will talk about this at the end of this video. So guys please watch this video till the end. Well the design of the Samsung Galaxy S20 is simple. The difference we find here is the finish studded in its every corner that gives the phone a glossy finish.

This phone is available in three colors in India - Cloud Mint, Cloud Lavandor, and Cloud Blue. Apart from that, two more colors are available, i. e. Cloud Red and Cloud White but they are currently not available in India at the time I am shooting this video. No fancy colors have been used on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G or no use of hard materials on the phone.

In the back, we have a simple one-color finish, and yes, it's plastic. You can charge your phone through it with a wireless charger and it also supports reverse wireless charging that should be noted. But as usual, the back is plastic. However, it doesn't feel cheap when you view it from a distance or hold it in your hands. It always gives you a premium touch but the reality is that the back is plastic.

Talking about the front, it has got the protection of Gorilla Glass 3. At least, Samsung should have given the protection of Gorilla Glass 5 or 6 but according to the price, Samsung settled with the Gorilla Glass 3 that makes me feel less sometimes but it is as it is. Talking about the display, it is Super AMOLED that is manufactured by Samsung and you might know that Samsung is currently the leading display manufacturer in the smartphone industry and this display is one of them. Here we get a Full HD+ resolution that should have Quad HD+ but it is not there on this phone. Instead, we get Full HD+ but when you will watch your favorite content be it Netflix or Amazon Prime you won't feel any issues even while watching YouTube.

You won't feel like there are fewer pixels on the screen or like Quad HD should be there instead. You will never feel this way. In fact, when you watch something in high-quality or Full HD, you will feel that this phone has got the best picture quality that is better than other displays present in the industry. So, I never felt any issues with the screen quality. One important thing here is that the brightness of this phone is around 800 nits but when you are roaming around in the daylight or sun rays are falling directly over your head, it feels that the brightness should have been little bit more It's not like you can't see anything.

Everything is properly visible and you can continue your work without any problem. However, you will get a slight feeling of having more nits of brightness. I have felt that many times. However, I don't have any problem while using it in the daylight as it works great. Yeah, sometimes I feel brightness should have been more even though it has got 800 nits of brightness.

Coming back to the screen, how can we forgot the 120Hz display. Here you get two options - one is 60Hz and the second one is 120Hz. By default, I have used the phone at 120Hz and never faced any issues with it neither from the UI nor from the screen. The experience was smooth and never saw any shutters. Regarding the display, I have got zero complaints.

How can we forgot the in-display fingerprint sensor? The in-display fingerprint sensor provided here is the optical fingerprint sensor. No matter how many times you use it, it won't disappoint you.99% times, it works just fine. In rare cases like when your fingers are covered with water or something like this, you may have to unlock your phone using a face ID or PIN, whatever secondary password you have set on your phone. Otherwise, it works every time and won't disappoint you even if the screen is locked. The fingerprint sensor works every time and it means you don't have to keep your screen on in order to unlock it.

Just put your finger above the screen and your phone will be unlocked automatically. The fingerprint sensor is slightly below. Have it been slightly above, that would have been better but you become familiar with it as long as you spend time with your phone and never raise any complaints thereafter. However, you may face issues at the beginning. Let's turn towards the performance but before that, here are the quick specs.

In the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, we get Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, the RAM here we get is 8GB LPDDR4x that is currently the fastest RAM memory type. Talking about the storage, we get 128GB of storage that comes with UFS 3.1. For the graphics card, we get the Adreno 665 GPU. Overall, it's the complete package we get with this phone, a complete premium flagship experience. However, you can complain of not getting the Snapdragon 888 processor that you will find in the OnePlus 9 Series.

But yes, we need to consider that we are talking about Samsung here. I also did a gaming test whose link you can find above in the cards or to the video description. You can watch it if you want. In the gaming test, I have talked about the heating issues of the phone if any. Today, Snapdragon 888 processor is known for its major heating issues in the industry.

Taking note of this point, this phone might have an edge over others. Otherwise, you can check out the full details in the video and how is the overall gaming performance of this phone. You will not face any issues in your daily life with this phone. I downloaded lots of apps, some of them I left opened yet this phone handled everything pretty well. Never felt any kind of slowness anywhere on this phone.

Well, let's move on to the camera! Here we get a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. In the front, we have a 32MP selfie camera and here are some of the camera samples. This photo has been clicked in portrait mode and you can see the details, colors and how this phone processes the photos. Some of you might like it while some of you might not but I personally liked its processing capabilities. Here is another photo sample in portrait mode however, it has been clicked from a distance.

Look closely, you will find that somewhere phone commits mistakes in processing photos. Sometimes, it fails to notice sharp corners and hence fails to blur them. But it only happens in case you are taking photos from a distance or your subject is standing at a distance. In such cases, you will face blur issues and it also depends on what conditions you are clicking photos. You might not face this similar situation I faced as it depends entirely on the conditions.

On the other hand, talking about normal photos, here are the photo samples where you can see the details, how well it captures everything around. One thing to note here is that every photo clicked here are from a 12MP camera. Here is the ultra-wide photo sample. This is a macro photo that automatically focuses on the object so you don't have to tap it multiple times. Similarly, you can check the details of the night mode photo sample.

One is clicked in night mode while the other isn't that you can judge by comparing them. Talking about the zoom capabilities, here is the first photo sample clicked on 1x zoom, here's the second one on 2x zoom, here's the third one on 10x zoom, and the last one on 30x zoom You can clearly see the difference, all the photos are clicked from the same point yet we see clear details on the photo clicked on 30x zoom. However, I already covered this part in the unboxing video. If you still haven't watched it, you can find the link to the video description. Now let's talk about the video recording.

I have recorded some video samples you should watch. This is the front camera recording so you will have a clear idea of how it records video and audio from the front camera. Sun rays are falling directly over my face. Let's do one thing, I will record a dynamic shot and find out how it records. And here, it is handling dynamic shot pretty well though sun rays are falling from behind But you can just tell me the audio quality of this phone as I am recording it from the phone's mic.

The most important thing, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G can record 4K video at 60 FPS that is a good thing. However, I recorded the same through video stabilization but still, the video recorded was smooth a little because the stabilization we get in 4K@60 FPS is not as good as in HD that I noticed. That was all about the specs, the performance. You can check the specs according to the price that I shared a lot. Now, what is the most important thing for a phone? In the end, you will be using your phone for what's it made You will be inserting the SIM card and use it to call so let's find out how's the call quality.

The question is interesting because it has 5G bands and not one, two, or three but nine bands whose name you can find here. For some reason whether it's because of the bands or any other thing I clearly don't know but I tested this phone with Jio 4G. My past experience with my previous phone with Jio 4G regarding the call quality enhanced a lot, call audio was clear, signals were quite strong. However, I don't know whether it was because of 5G or 4G was tuned in a lot better. No idea about this! But it really performs well with 4G as 5G is not available, so can't test it.

So regarding call quality, you will not face any issues, microphone works well, noise cancellation is great. You might have got the idea of noise cancellation from the video sample I recorded. Thankfully, it has maintained the same with call quality. I even tested it outdoors in high traffic where noise is much louder. Even at that time, you will not face any issues and the person speaking to you will hear your voice clearly.

We have thoroughly covered call quality, performance, camera review. Now it's time for the battery! How much battery backup this phone provides? The S20 FE 5G is loaded with a 4,500mAh battery that you can charge with a 15W charger included in the box. However, you can also charge it with a 25W charger. That means, if you have a 25W charger then you charge your phone with it and it will charge rapidly. With the 15W charger, it took around 1 hour to 1.2 hrs depending on the battery percentage remaining. But I never had to wait for 1.5 hrs to be very honest with you. Here, you can check out some screenshots of battery backup.

One unique thing I found with this phone was when you are using this phone on a regular basis pushing the limits, playing games, consuming Netflix or Amazon Prime content, in such a case, it gives you a battery backup of around one day or even more than that. Specifically, you will get a little more than one day but not more. Here, the screen on time you get is around 6-6.5 hrs depending on your usage. One interesting thing I noted here, if you are using it ideally, like a normal phone user and not like a heavy user and yes, I am sharing these stats when I tested this only on 120Hz display and never set it on 60Hz,120Hz was lot better but if you set it on 60Hz, you may get bigger battery backup. Coming back to an ideal user, who doesn't use it very much, only surfs internet and take calls, in that situation, unbelievably, I have used this phone for three days on a single charge and in the rare case, it extened to four days but unfortunately, I failed to take the screenshot as I plugged in the charger and lost all the data.

But my personal experience says the standby time of this phone is fabulous and fantastic. The standby time for some reason is just great and I never expected that from a 4,500mAh battery. Here, I am getting the standby time of three days. I won't say it a standby time, but it's a regular usage time of three days if you aren't pushing up the limits of your usage. If you are doing so, use it intensively, spend much time with your phone when you are at your home, then you will get around one day of battery backup that means if you charge it today, then you have to again do it tomorrow evening.

Finally in the end, my favorite part: UI! Everything we talked about till now was based on stats, on hardware configuration, and on camera performance, but in the end, a consumer or a user, who interacts with the phone never interacts with the hardware. In fact, he/she interacts with the UI And if he/she isn't satisfied with the UI, then there's no point in spending loads of money. Here on this phone, we have One UI 3.1 that comes with Android v11. You can check the updates, this phone is running Android 11 with the support of One UI 3.1. Here, I didn't face any kind of lag or bug from the UI that I previously mentioned.

This phone syncs well with the hardware. The small enhancements of the UI like the dark mode that is great and you should use it if you have a Samsung phone or you are thinking to buy this phone. You should definitely use it! The overall experience with the dark mode is great, not so dark not so light, brightness syncs well with the dark mode and I really liked it. Similarly, you also get the Eye Protection mode for night if you read books on phone and like to read it, like to make notes, then you will definitely feel helpful. There's a rumor around Samsung UI claiming that they lag while in reality, it's not.

When you combine the One UI 3.1 with the Snapdragon 865 processor, the overall experience you get is just fantastic and one the same time, if you are getting a super AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate, then it's a deadly combination for a user experience, that's just intriguing and you will not face any issues and I am claiming that from my personal experience. Whatever issues were with the One UI was in the past and till now, I haven't faced any of them. Besides, the thing that makes it different from its competitors is that you get Knox security because for a user who is ready to spend lots of money needs to set a priority for himself. He/She must not have a price-to-performance ratio. The price-to-performance ratio is acceptable under 20,000 phones but for the phone of this price, you need to set up your priority, you need security on your bucket list and for that, we are getting here Knox security that is good because it means you know your phone is only yours.

Since we are talking about UI here, many people complained online of ads on their phone. For me personally, I haven't seen any kind of ads pushed, no notifications, and unwanted things on this phone. However, it might be the reason as I haven't opened 99% of the Samsung apps and force stopped or disabled some of the Samsung apps and that might be the reason. Please, take note of this point when you boot up your phone otherwise, you may face some ads. You can watch the unboxing video to find out how to boot a Samsung phone.

The link is on the i-button above. So, guys, these were the complete details of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. I hope you liked the video.
