Samsung Galaxy Note 10 vs Note 10 Plus Hands-On Review! WHICH Should You Buy?

Hi guys its AS BRIT, and here we are finally live with the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10, plus after many months of leaks and rumors I. Finally, have the two devices in my hand, right here and in this video I'm gonna, give you the rundown of all the new features of both. So it's time to grab your notebook, see what I did there and delve straight in to the juicy details. So without further ado, let's get straight to it. If you link to the channel and love everything, tech news, unboxing reviews then make sure you hit that subscribe button and ding that notification bell so that every time I post, a video you are notified and can stay up to date with all the latest tech, and this video was shot all the way over. The pond in New York massive thanks to Samsung for organizing my trip to New York to the live launch in order to make this content possible for you right so starting with design, they basically look completely identical.

The only main real difference is on the rear, where we have an extra camera lens, and we'll get onto the cameras in a second now, on the top we have the SIM card tray, which is dual SIM. We have the volume rocker up and down and the power button on one side. The power button also coexists as a Bigamy button and on the other side we have nothing and on the bottom we have our type C charging port, our speaker, which makes it stereo because of that front facing speaker on the display, a microphone and our s-pen as well. So if we flip back to the front on the standard, Galaxy Note 10.1 AMOLED display 2280 by 1080, if we switch to its bigger brother, the note 10 plus we have a six point: eight inch, quad, HD, +, dynamic AMOLED display. So you are getting a bump up in resolution on this model 3040 by 1440 on both you get HDR 10, +, Gorilla, Glass, 6 and always-on display and a Samsung put it the Infinity o display.

So we have that punch hole cut out at the top in the center. So it is slightly different from the one that we've seen on the s10 range. There is also the Indus plate, fingerprint scanner on both, and that is the 3d Qualcomm variety, which means it is ultra secure and again very similar to the end s10 plus. In terms of SOC s, we are getting the snapdragon 855 again on both or the Enos nine eight to five, depending on your specific region and the exodus nine eight two five upgrade from the nine eight to zero, which we've seen on the s-line, now makes it a seven nanometer chip. Now in early testing, the nine eight two five has fared really well in single core scores.

However, it doesn't fare quite as well in multi-core scores compared to the snapdragon counterpart on other devices. If you want to see full comparisons between the two, let me know in the comments and I will try and make that happen. Now we're going to jump onto battery, and this is a key area. The note 10 standard has a 3600 mAh battery capacity, whereas on the note 10 plus, we have a 4300 mAh battery capacity. Wireless charging on both reverse wireless charging again on both and yes, we have a larger quad, HD plus panel to actually power, but equally having that, rather large extra capacity should result in better battery life.

Again, if you want comparisons, let me know now in terms of charging. We have for the first time seen something really push the boundaries with their fast charging technology. We are going to a 45 watt fast charge with the note 10 plus, whereas only note 10, we have a 25 watt fast charge based on those numbers, you're roughly going to be looking at 70% charge in just over half an hour, which is really impressive. It puts it right up there with some of the best technology right now in terms of storage, we're looking at a maximum of 256 gigabytes on the note 10 normal and 512 gigabytes on the plus model, no expandable storage on these standard micro SD card expansion on the plus model, the brand-new UFS 3.0 on both he supports Wi-Fi, six max Ram of 12 gigabytes on the plus. Now we're going to jump onto camera, and we have the triple camera setup on the standard, even though it looks almost identical, is technically a quad camera setup on the plus, because we have a time-of-flight lens as well good for your depth and portrait shots.

Of course. Now, in terms of that main triple threat, it is the same on both we have a 12, megapixel, wide-angle, dual app it just. We have a 12 megapixel telephoto lens and a 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens the front camera is a 10 megapixel lens in terms of video recording. We have 4k at 60 frames, a second 4k at 30 on the front so again really, really impressive same as the s10 range. Furthermore, we have that 4k ability in that front-facing camera and on top of that, once again, something of producing some of the best super slo-mo shots in the game.

The frame rates are something to be drawled out, not literally, that would be disgusting, but nevertheless, very impressive, and I can't wait to test out in more detail we're not you're thinking. What's the one thing I haven't mentioned so far. Well, two things number one no headphone jack on either. Unfortunately, it has gone the way of the dodo. It makes the marketing tactic of trolling other companies for dropping the headphone jack a little silly right now, but hey each to their own I.

Just hope: you're ready with your double dongle like a double toggle, yeah, double dongle, I guess it sounds explicit. Now, there's one famous feature about the note line that I haven't talked about, and that is of course, that magic s-pen, my personal favorite, is the brand-new kind of air gestures. Let me know in the comment section below what you think about the note, 10 and note 10 Plus, which is your favorite, or do you like both of them in their own individual way, or do you like neither and there's something else on the horizon for you? I have plenty more content coming on the no 10 range very, very soon. So if you want to see that hit that subscribe button ding that notification bell, so the one I post, those videos you are notified and as always I will love you and leave you I'll see you in the next one says: B or T peace out.
