Samsung Galaxy Note 10 / 10 Plus First Look Hands On Comparison

Hello and welcome to this video we will be taking our first close-up. Look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10 plus models soon to be released. We've received these dummies from our friends at elixir. Who's been using them for their current case testing just in time to have a look at the features. Samsung will be keeping and removing in this next generation note at first glance, we can already see a few glaring differences from the Galaxy Note 9 from the rotation of the rear camera to the removal of the headphone jack Samsung seem to be taking a big step in terms of utilizing their competitors, technical features and conforming to specifications that we're becoming accustomed to in the modern smartphone. We've been reliably informed that the note, 10 and 10 plus will have 5g variants, both of which will be the same size as their non 5g counterparts.

This means you can be rest assured when buying cases, as the connectivity variant doesn't affect the interchangeable capability of the cases. So here's the two models laid out for you with the note 10 measuring at six point three inches and the note 10, plus at six point eight inches. Both models have about a half inch difference in height and 0.2 inches in width, which doesn't seem incredibly dissimilar, but when held in each hand, I can really feel the difference most of the screen size rumors seem to be consistent with these dummies and putting them against the cases already available. Confirms this theory further, the note 10 has gone down compared to the note 9 falling closer to the Galaxy S 10, whereas the note 10 plus matches the note 9 and the S 10 5g, almost exactly the only difference here is the screen height being a little taller on the note 10 models compared to the note 9, which will be even better to decide to drop the bezel edge around the camera in favor of the full screen effect. Looking at the external ports buttons and cameras, we can see again that the note 10 models are making some big steps into the future, with Apple making major technical changes to their latest models.

It was only a matter of time before Samsung took the leap, and they seemed to have done the unthinkable by finally removing the headphone port in favor of the USB-C and Bluetooth connection. Most Samsung users will scorn this decision forcing them through the same pain as iOS users when Apple removed the headphone jack back with the iPhone 7, but rather than being downhearted. It's better to see this as a new frontier for more exciting changes in Samsung's fee. Speaking of new, the camera layouts on front and back have had a move around favoring the center placement on the front and the left hand side vertical positioning on the back. The front-facing camera has been reduced to a single lens, which is an interesting move when looking at the multiple lenses.

On the note 9, this closely mirrors the camera seen on the s10 favoring, the middle of the screen, as opposed to the top-right corner, turning them over. We can already see a small difference between the note 10 and the Templar's. We now have a three lens setup that a rumor to consist of a primary telephoto and ultra-wide lens Samsung's seem to be turning things up from the usual look, quite literally, by flipping the camera into a vertical position on both models. On the note 10 plus alone. However, we have an interesting little addition of a fourth lens and a sensor placed neatly beside the three lens setup.

Rumor has it. This will be a TOF lens, as previously seen on the s10 5 G China flight technology uses infrared lasers, to detect depth by scanning objects to create genuine background blur effects and improve augmented reality. Even though the camera change is not what we used to I, really like the upgrade to the camera tap, meaning, you can take beautiful professional photos easier than ever before. Apart from these few changes, most of the buttons remain in the same place with the same functions with the SD tray on the top. A nice pen slot on the base.

Only time will tell if they've been any changes to the operating systems, an internal tag I really like the look and function of this phone so far, and we're very excited to see how this dummy compares with the final model in a few weeks time. So that's all we have for this sneak peek, look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy, Note, 10 and Temples.
