Samsung Galaxy J2 Shine Unboxing

Good evening my YouTube family and friends, I'm Larry and that's you all, know I started my channel with the name. Affordable phone unboxing and I eventually changed it, because I was actually unboxing more than just bounce. So with that in mind, I went from affordable phone unboxing to affordable tech unboxing. Now after I did a little research I come to realize that maybe that was a bad name. I'm going to continue to do some affordable phones, because, let's face it, some of us actually need a guide to show us exactly what we can get for a cheap price, but I'm going to be doing other things, not just phones. Of course, I already started doing other things, but it's not always going to be affordable.

Now what I have here to kick off? The new channel was basically the old channel with a new name. Larry's Tech unboxing I picked up a cheap little phone and from the place that I work at Walmart, and I'm going to do the unboxing for that now this was not an expensive phone by any means. What expensive would be? This was an $80 phone. Of course, it would have been more like 86 87 dollars, but then I've got a discount, so it was less than 80. It's like 74 76, something like that.

But this is the unboxing video. Now here we go. It is the Samsung Galaxy j2 shine, which is a newer version of the prime series. It is now the shine series and, as you can see exclusively or only at means exclusively for Walmart. Here we go here's the picture of the phone.

Now they activate the said it was activated at the register, but because it takes a SIM card, I am NOT going to be using the SIM card that came with it, I'm going to use the SIM card, that's in the phone dump, currently recording one, which is a far cry from affordable, but after in my little payments, I'll eventually pay it off, and it's going to be an expensive phone. The Samsung Galaxy S, 10, 128, gigabytes of internal storage, 128 gigabytes of admits or so. But this right here is for my audience that can only afford so much now. This is a five inch HD display with a dragon tail pro glass, so I'm, assuming it's something like um, Gorilla Glass, but I, don't know, yet it has 16 gigabytes of internal storage, and you can add up to 512 gigabytes of external storage. Of course, a little eight megapixel rear camera, the regular shooter and five megapixel front camera, which is yeah, I mean it's a budget phone.

So you can't expect exactly expect a very good camera and, of course, 2600 William hour battery power saving mode which at this point I'm thinking it might only have one gigabyte of memory. So if it has android 8.0 or nine, it is the go Edition, which means it's power saver. So without further ado, let's get this thing open and that's all prepaid phones, which are they'll work perfectly fine with a yum contract sim. You just can't do the opposite, putting a prepaid sim into a contract phone. Unless you some unlock, though, let's see what it takes to actually get this out of the package and there we go just like that.

Now. This is supposed to have a bonus. Headset now I doubt if it's going to be the kg which came with the Samsung Galaxy s, 10, and I believe that also came with the Galaxy Note 9, but don't quote me on it, because I can't guarantee- and here we pull out the phone and as you see, it's got the nice well I, don't know if you consider nice, but it's got the AT&T logo in the back. So this is strictly an AT&T phone, and it only has one camera: that's the 8, megapixel rear, shooter and there's the five megapixel front. Shooter we'll put that aside.

Let's see what else is in the box, so of course this tray, which had helped be um phone itself, comes out and there's nothing else in there but power cord. The charging cord is a micro USB. So there is no type-c in this phone and well there's the basic headphones. So yep can't get any more basic than that. Here is some paperwork, and this was the anti-theft device.

Yeah, no crap- and here is a Start Guide, so again useless for me and of course you know bigger discount with every line. You add. Now and here's the telling you to save by pre pain and a Start Guide, and this right here terms and conditions for having a cell phone Durer. Also in the box, it looks like a standard power adapter. Now this I'm, assuming is not a quick charger.

So this does not have wireless charging, especially with the fact that the battery is not removable. So with that in mind, now we take the phone out of the bag once I figure out how to do it. Okay, there we go, and now we got the phone, and it has obviously a plastic back, even though it kind of looks like you could be glass, it's definitely plastic, especially since you pull the back off to put the battery in, so there's also no thinner, press scanner, and here we go, so I'll see if I can power it on, but I seriously doubt it because these things almost never come with a fully charged battery. Things almost never come with a partially charged battery. What we got here, and I'm pretty sure that is the sim card, because I did not see a SIM card.

So what I was going to use this for open I'm going to use that to get rid of this, remove this SIM card and that's exactly what it is: ATT prepaid NATO, so that will not be used because I am NOT a fan of prepaid. But let's continue this by me see if I can power it up. I'll put this one. Definitely snaps and I turn it on see. If it comes on.

Yes, there is power, I, don't know how much I don't know. If you heard that the AT&T sound their own little sound, they put on all their phones, and this thing is taking forever to start. Hmm, yep battery comes 35% charged. So, let's start, let's set it up, and we're getting connected already. It's gone from 35% battery power to 34, so I, just agreed to all of this crap automatically is looking for, updates.

More likely will be so s is doing that the top is a noise. Cancelling mic bottom is a standard microphone. Jack I mean microphone with a standard, 3.5, millimeter, headphone jack and there's the micro USB charging port on the right side. We have the power button and on the left side we have the up and down volumes on the back. We have just the single shooter and that and that's about it.

So with that in mind, this has been a another video from Larry, of course, very first video, my video of my channel. My new name is Larry's tech unboxing, so until I've had a little time on this phone to decide whether I really like it, whether it's actually worth the $80 I'll, let you know till next video this is Larry from Larry's tech, unboxing saying have a wonderful day, and I'll see you next time around.
