Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) vs Galaxy S7 - Speed Test! (4K)

Hey guys, it's time to do a speed test comparison between the Galaxy S7 on the ride versus the galaxy a8 2016, so I'm just going to quickly boot both of these two semi boys up at the same time, let's go and the a8 2016 actually comes with the same internals as the Galaxy S6. So this really can be seen as Galaxy S6 versus the s7. But of course the display resolution on the 8th 2016 is not quad. HD 1080p 5.7 inch display. So let's see here which is going to be faster booting up, and that is the Galaxy S7. So you can see it is also on a bit of I think maybe 2 or 3-second difference there.

So we're going to see if we are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. So let me just turn this one on here and right from the quick setting area. You can see that the AAA 2016 is running the latest graced Touch ID UI that we first saw inside the Galaxy Note 7. So we have all this good stuff like secure, folder and everything so maybe doing a full review comparison between these two phones so stay tuned for that video. Also.

So let's get right in it to the apps opening test, so obviously price-wise. The Galaxy S7 is like $180 more expensive than this one. So, let's see if their how much difference we have in terms of speed, so first we're going to be launching the phone dollar and I think that was a bit snappier on the Galaxy S7 we're going to go back and launch gallery okay, a bit of a different style of loading. The pictures again, you guys are the judge here we're going to move towards these settings, and I'm just feeling that the Galaxy S7 is being snappier just a tad bit snappier in every application that I've opened so far system base. So we move towards some third-party stuff.

First off we got this game that I'm playing a lot, which is called as color switch. Let's go and see here, hmm I think it's a draw. Let's see here. We also have another game that is subway surfer. Washington DC, okay, okay, galaxy of seven balls again tiny bit faster, but eight twenty.

Sixteen is really on par. I mean trying to be on par with the s7, so obviously do keep that price difference in your mind and let's go ahead and launch smash, hit another game I'm going to make this hardcore test. Okay, so let's see here almost at the same time, yeah pretty similar stuff here, and you can also notice the home button response. Speed is also very equal on both devices, so we can launch something like an application called as Instagram. So do you have here in this folder? Let's go and let's see here, the okay I think it was a draw, so both loaded up this feed.

At the same time, we can go ahead and launch something like Play, Store, scope and think galaxy. A 2016 was a bit quicker there. Let's see here. If we check this application, you can see the AAA 2016 faster with loading, the pictures for the game and, let's load the camera. Okay, you just close this and load the camera.

At the same time, there we go and the Galaxy S7 is faster, so s7 is definitely a true. You know truly defining that it's a flagship phone and this one is not so but still I'm, pretty impressed by the 2016 X quite close to the s7. As far as apps opening goes, so we're going to go right into the browser, so I'm going to be using the default internet browser on both of these two devices. So first off I'm going to be loading, the amazon. com go and really love both of these two phones.

As far as display quality goes, so I think the galaxy eight 2016 is faster here. Let's see here, the scrolling is extremely smooth on both phones and obviously having the bigger size. So I can see stuff more. You know the experience a bit better with a bigger display, so you can see that you're not going to be having any lag with the in-app in-browser experience. We have so can't zoom in here.

So let's see here if I can go back and launch the yahoo. com and let's see here which is going to finish off. First, the galaxy a8 2016 again finishes off first, a bit quicker there. So we're going to do a ram measurement test here you can see browsing is top-notch on the 2016 that so sure, let's see here gallery oops we have four gigs of ram on the Galaxy S7 versus the three gigs of ram on the galaxy a8 2016 and see here so far so good, both devices are pretty snake and neck subway surfer kept in the memory. This time you guys remember the OnePlus three speed test.

It actually closed one game so, but in this test, I can see pretty much. Everything is open and kept in the memory. Instagram is still there and, of course you cannot expect it close with the Galaxy S7. It's just too good, and let's see here, we are at the end. Let's go the internet browser again, so you can see top-notch performance on both devices really I mean if you're thinking about buying the Galaxy S7, just because more performance, then I guess you are wrong, because the AAA 2016 is absolutely top not even though, with the older chipset I think it's pretty well optimized to work with the software, because it is the only phone from Samsung right now to have the greatest Touch ID UI.

Oh yeah I'm, not saying the SM and won't get it. It will definitely get it, and maybe it will have more features with the greatest touches UI compared to the 2016 but yeah. Currently, a 2016 is the only phone to have it and that's it for this video hope you guys have enjoyed it.
