Samsung Galaxy A30 tem melhor custo-benefício da linha em 2019 | Análise / Review

We are here with the Galaxy A30, another simple midranger from Samsung. We recently checked out the A10 and the A20, and both were disappointting. Will the A30 be any different? That is what you'll find out with TudoCelular. We will also compare with the M30, which is another Samsung option in the R$ 1200 range a device that, willing or not, ends up competing with the A30. Looking at this South Korean midrange device, it is impossible not to feel a déjà vu. The design is identical to the A20's and both are available in this shade of dark gray which Samsung calls black.

What changes are the other color options: the A30 can be found in blue and white while the A20 has darker tones of blue and the option in red. For the M30 the first difference you notice is that it has one less camera on the rear. The quality of construction is the same. We have a cell phone made of plastic with a glossy finish that scratches easily. It lacked a protective case here in this set.

It's a big device, with a 6.4-inch screen; the edges are thin thanks to the adoption of the notch at the top. The biometric reader is in the back and may be uncomfortable to use for some people because it's in a very high position but when you hit your finger in the correct place the fingerprint reading is pretty fast. The front of the device is almost all taken up by a super AMOLED screen which delivers a good level of brightness, vibrant colors and superior viewing angle to rivals with LCD screens. The quality is very close to the M30 and surpasses cheaper Samsung models that bring simple LCD panel. The advantage of this model is that the color calibration is closer to the ideal one, so we have a less bluish white.

The sound part has no expected evolution, it is virtually the same strident mono sound of the A20. By putting the trebles at maximum they give the impression of a greater sound power but this sacrifices audio details. The bundled earphone is the same as the one found with cheaper models and it is clear that this is a saving point in the new Samsung series, besides the sound quality being weak for a product that reached the market in 2019. Another point that the A30 and the M30 have in common, the radio: the two bring the Exynos 7904 platform with an octa-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. and the expected performance was about the same between the two.

But if compared to the A20, its much faster. The 4 GB of RAM are well used and you can keep multiple applications opened at the same time. In benchmarks the results were within the expected, with scores close to the other models, In games the performance does not thrill - most of the titles run without lags on the A30 but we noticed that in some, like Asphalt 9, it lacks a bit of fluidity comparing to others in the same price range. The 4000 mAh performs well and you'll have enough load to spend all day out of the house without worrying about the charger. In moderate use it is even possible to leave a little battery for the next day.

If you are addicted to gaming on the phone, the A30 can deliver up to six hours of gameplay before begging for a charger. It does not spend as much time on the power outlet as we've seen on other cheap smartphones we've tested recently. to go from 0 to 100% you need to wait less than two hours. In front of the M30 that came even with the Android Oreo and old version on the Samsung interface, this one already that already counts with Android Pie out of the box. The One UI is also another positive point in facilitating the use of the device with just one hand.

Features are the same as those found on other company smartphones we have a dark mode, which makes it more enjoyable to use the device at night, and also facial recognition if you do not like the fingerprint reader. The differential of this model is for high resolution digital TV support. With it you can watch your favorite shows on the go. And just like the cheaper models, the A30 also brings ultra-wide lens as a secondary camera, and unlike the M30, this one does not have a depth sensor. The main camera records good photos in places with strong lighting but it tends to exaggerate in the exposition and sometimes delivers very bright images.

That's the kind of problem we do not see with the ultra-wide lens; besides registering more scenarios, it still has a better light control the bad side stays for photos indoors or at night, resulting in darker images. To take photos and in poorly lit scenarios then, we always recommend that you use the main camera which even captures grainy images, but within the acceptable for the category. The software tends to identify the scenarios and optimize the settings. We noticed a slight difference when photographing flowers, that presented slightly more saturated colors. Front camera records good photos when the lighting is in your favor and here exceeds the M30 in detail level and quality of the textures.

The same goes for dynamic focus, that does a great job when separating you from the background. The result is a good portrait effect that is not limited to just people. The model records in full hd with both the rear and front camera and the recording quality is decent with cleaner audio than other basic Samsung smartphones. The focus is a bit slow, but the A30 controls the exposure well even when there is strong light in the background. Galaxy A30 camera test.

But against the rivals, is the A30 a good option? If speed is important to you on a smartphone, you have faster alternatives in this R$ 1200 price range like the Moto G7 Plus or the Redmi Note 7; however, on battery, it outperforms the models of Motorola and Xiaomi that we quoted, but it is not the best of Samsung when it comes to autonomy. The M30 has over 1000 mAh of battery power and manages to spend two days away from the power outlet. If you are in doubt between the two models of Samsung, let's summarize in a simple way: if you value more battery and performance, then go for M30. Now if camera is more important to you, then the A30, which is not behindthe Moto G7 and Redmi Note 7 in photos and videos, is the best option. Overall, the Galaxy A30 is a more interesting cell phone than its cheaper brothers and is only behind the A20 in battery life.

By paying more for this model you get better performance, superior camera, better color reproduction screen and digital tv as an extra. But of course there are points that disapointed us with the A30, such as the bundled earphones and performance below competitors. It is not an absolute recommendation since, of course, it will depend on your needs. If you still wondered if the A30 is the ideal smartphone for your profile, I invite you to visit TudoCelular. com to compare it with rivals and see which one has more to offer.
