Samsung Galaxy A20 Performance Test: Fast Phone For a $160! By Tech Titan

Okay, so in today's video we're going to be doing a performance test on the galaxy 820 and so far this one has impressed me in a lot of different ways. So let's go ahead and get started. So the first thing that we're going to talk about is specs, so sports pics go. This one has a TO nose, 78-84 at 14, nanometer architecture, an outscore chip with two cores being at one point, six again Hertz and the other six at around 1.3 5 gigahertz, and it also has three gigabytes of RAM 32 gigabytes of storage. Ok, so that's really! What's what you got on your spec sheet as far as the speed of the fingerprint and the face recognition? First, they set up.

Ok, let's see so the set-up of the fingerprint is one of the fastest that I have ever seen in a while it's faster than iPhone, faster than a lot of a lot of flagships. So let me show you so if we go to fingerprints and security, let's go ahead and go ahead and fingerprint watch this. Let me see how am I going to do this? Okay, so watch how fast it's gonna. Does it damn that quickly and that's that's the fastest that I have personally seen? Okay, so it's speed, wise is not the greatest honestly, and one thing that I do have to complain about is that it's kind of hard to get a fear of the fingerprint, since it does have a similar feeling to the back of the phone so kind of hard to get a feel of the fingerprint. That's just that.

Just is a complaint that I have, and this one also has facial recognition. So it has an indication strip. So it does light out to where you need to point your face. Let me see if I can do it with the camera on boom, so give you to unlock up top, and you just wipe out to unlock it. So pretty cool methods to unlock your phone and speed wise.

The facial recognition is definitely faster. However, the fingerprint is more secure. Okay, so let's go ahead and run a CPU test. As far as what Geek bench says it has two cores at 1.7 gigahertz and six cores at 1.59. Okay, so let's go ahead and run our CPU test you so here's our Geek bench score as far as the single core did get a 1326 score and the multi-core is 41 69.

Now these are just numbers and the best way to really show performance is to compare these numbers to previous phones. So if we compare it to something like the Galaxy Note, 8 denoted a definitely beats it, and the difference is not really as significant as you might think, on this budget phone, where this phone actually is really the score is really close to it's. The Galaxy Note 5, which had the Enos 7420, which, if you remember this, was a flagship chip, but I will still put it on par with the Galaxy S7 and the Google Pixel as far as single core performance. So that should give you an idea of how fast this phone runs as far as multi-core. This does have a score of 41 69 and, like I, said this.

This is definitely comparable to something like the Google Pixel, with a Snapdragon 820 one, which was a flagship a couple of years ago, and that should really give you an idea of how of the performance of this one. Now, as far as launching daily apps and the memory on this phone, so launching something like the phone app, it's quick, the messaging app, also quick. So it's definitely smooth and performs really well now games. So, let's clear out all the apps, let's see, let's go ahead and launch temple, run: okay, so really fast and really smooth. As far as gaming experience goes, this is really nice.

Now the OLED screen and the large screen the six point, eight. The six point eight-inch screen makes the gaming really enjoyable. So the only downside about this screen is there is the resolution, but I'll be talking more about that in my full review, it's not as sharp as I would like it to be, but overall I mean for the average consumer. The gaming on this phone is definitely great, and I wasn't paying attention. We are gaming on this.

One is definitely nice now if we open up subway surfer, so games open up also pretty respectably fast. So that's pretty good, okay, so a similar story. This game has a lot of colors in it, and this OLED screen makes the game that much more enjoyable definitely a fan of the gaming on this budget phone. Okay. Now, let's quickly test out Ram open up pretty much as many apps as we can and let's see, let's see if we can keep them in the, but if so, let's see if the ramp can keep up with the many apps that we just opened up.

If we go back and launch the game, so let's 3 launched Temple Run, okay, so boy surfer. Okay, so it does a decent job, it does. It does a good job in RAM management, so I'll give him that and that's really the story behind the performance of this phone overall, this phone performs like it's supposed to be actually better. It kinda impressed me in the performance and I will soon be doing a comparison between the 820 and the LG style 5, which recently just came out so more videos on that and more content regarding all these phones are coming soon, so make sure you're subscribed, and you follow my Instagram for latest updates and yeah performance overall is definitely gets another thumbs up from me and this one really impressed me so far. Furthermore, it's definitely going to be, and so far it is the number one Smurf the number one budget phone that I have ever reviewed, so yeah Samsung came through swinging with this one and overall I want to.
