Redmi Note 9 Pro & Note 9 5G FULL RECAP.

I'm Frankie tech- and these are my thoughts on the Redmi Note 9 pro china launch hi, guys it's Frankie from Frankie tech good to see you guys again, and I just wanted to share some thoughts about yesterday evening's Redmi, note 9 series launch in China. Now I was celebrating thanksgiving, so I didn't have a chance to live stream the event, but just now I wanted to share my reaction on the three devices that were announced, and it looks to me like a number of these- are either very similar or are essentially rebrands of phones that I've already reviewed here on the channel number one. We have the Redmi Note 9 pro, which I think the closest equivalent I've seen on the channel is the mi 10t light with a 4820 William capacity, the same 120, hertz, IPS lcd and a look as well. That is almost identical, maybe minus the full kind of circular black camera cutout. I actually prefer the look here on this me 10 t light and the same snapdragon 750 g processor, which has been terrific on this phone. The one key difference between the Redmi Note 9 pro and this mi 10t lite- is the camera and Xiaomi introduced the Samsung hm2 sensor, the second generation of the sensor we saw on the galaxy s20 ultra now that's pretty exciting, and it's almost like they've taken a better version of the camera.

We saw in the extent pro and put it into a phone. The rest of the specs of this cost 279 euros. So it's almost like they took a mid-range phone and put a flagship camera on it. Now I would have loved to see a meet 10t pro equivalent with that camera. That would have been, I think, a far more interesting device, but still the camera of this Redmi Note 9 pro is the most exciting part of I think all the releases and is the one reason why I would consider picking up this phone to compare next to phones like this me, 10 t lite and even the 10 t pro and with the starting price of 1599 RMB.

For this Redmi Note, 9 pro Xiaomi continues to just wow with these china prices, and you just wish they would do these types of pricing for the rest of the world, generally they're a little higher in Europe and in places like Hong Kong, they tend to be somewhere in between. We then saw the release of the Redmi Note, 9 5g, with a density 800u that I've used actually in a number of phones. Dementia 800 is a solid mid-range chipset. You also get a five 6.53 inch display so a bit smaller than this one: five thousand William battery and a triple camera setup, including a 48 megapixel camera setup, with an eight megapixel ultra-wide and a two megapixel macro camera. Now of the three announced phones, this is, you could say the most original or kind of the newest device and is the likely candidate of what we might see as a Redmi Note 10 release in the future.

As much as I want to believe it. I don't think that Xiaomi is going to put the 108 megapixel flagship camera into the Redmi Note 10 globally. It would just undercut the cameras on their other mi 10t series, phones and even me, 10 pro phones by too much and this Redmi Note 9 came at a starting price of 1299 yuan. So I think what you're getting for this phone is a terrific deal and that's why I think this would likely be the prime candidate for a global release in a Redmi Note, 10, series phone and last but not least, we saw the release of this Redmi Note 9 4g in a variety of colors, but I definitely saw through all of that with a 6 000 William capacity, 6.53 inch display triple camera setup on the back and the snapdragon 662 guys. This is a rebranded Poco m3 and the Poco m3 I've been using for 10 days now it's a terrific budget device, but now that we see the china pricing for essentially its rebranding, we have a better idea of where this phone fits into Xiaomi's china-based lineup and is essentially taking the place of the Redmi 9.

And perhaps this is the blueprint for an upcoming Redmi 10 that we will see from Xiaomi in the future. Personally, I'm really happy that this Poco m3 was released globally. Before this Redmi Note, 9 4g got its debut and a message to Xiaomi you're doing it right here at the end of 2020, getting more global releases out of these phones before introducing their rebrands in China. It's a strategy that I think actually is working and yes, I know how important the china market is, but expanding their global reach, I think, is one of the key strategies of Xiaomi and by releasing more unique and original phones and in the case of Poco as well as this m3 or like the 10 t-series. I think Xiaomi should continue to do this in 2021 to bring more excitement and more original products to their global releases coming next year, but that's it for my quick thoughts on this Redmi Note, 9 and overall, I still stand to what I said: I'm more excited about how this is going to manifest in a Redmi Note, 10 global series, but I'm so glad that, even with the china variants that there's still going to be an option for this incredible looking rose gold.

Beach finish. It is a stunning look on this mi 10t light, and it's a stunning look for the china variant. Redmi Note 9 pro as well, but hit me up in the comments. What were your thoughts on this Redmi Note 9 series launch in China and which of these three phones? Would you be most excited about for a global release? Hit me up in the comments, I'd love to hear about it, and that's it for this video. If you liked it give me that thumbs up and if you love the content of Frankie tech subscribe to the channel, hit the bell icon for future updates.

Thanks for watching all my Poco m3 coverage this week, it was a lot of work, so I do appreciate all the support. So that's it for this one TGIF a happy thanksgiving weekend to you all- and this is where I leave you by saying this- is Frankie. Tet signing off have a good one. Wow Xiaomi, a great Redmi Note 9 series release, but I feel like I've reviewed them already. You.
