Redmi Note 9 Pro Max | Pro | 9s Durability Review - The Side Scanner Truth!

This is a Historic moment to uncover that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Pro, has a Pre-Applied Plastic Screen Protector on its Corning Tempered Glass Protection, never seen on any Mi device before this! We can just hope and Pray that the Corning Glass below it, is Genuine and passes my Scratch Test unlike few devices of the Competition Today we're Unboxing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro which represents both the Pro Max and the Redmi Note 9s since all three have the same Body Weight, Dimensions and Corning Glass Protection. Infact the Redmi Note 9s is the exact same device as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The only difference between the Pro and the Pro Max is in the Higher Megapixel Primary Camera and faster Battery Charging Capacity in the Pro Max. Hence, the Build Quality of all 3 devices will be the same The Dual Glass Sandwich plastic Design weighs in at 209gmz, a bit towards the Heavier Side and does feel Heavier than the 6000mAh Galaxy M21! Though it also feelz Strong in my Usual Trial Bend The most Prominent thing at the back of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is the huge Camera Hump. The Quad Camera Unit jutz 0ut pretty significantly, so using some Protection seemz a Good Idea which bringz us to the free case in-the-box! Mi has really improved the Quality of their free cases since the weak flimsy ones of the Redmi K20 Pro and the flap at the bottom is similar to the ones given by Vivo! Next moving onto the Scratch Test to know the Quality and Scratch Resistant Capabilities of the Corning Tempered Glass Protection, on both sides of this Dual Glass Sandwich Design. We will be testing out the Scratch Resistance of the Glass Protection to prove how good or bad it is, Proving the Quality of Tempered Glasses installed on Top of Smartphone Displays! High Quality Glasses from Brands including the ones provided by Xiaomi and Redmi, have an excellent Track Record of surviving the Blade Abuse without a Scratch or Damage.

installed by some brandz on few of their devices with Pre-applied Plastic Screen Protectorz, Will the Glass Protection on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Series Devices, be able to maintain the High Standards of Xiaomi? The Tempered Glass Protection on the Screen does a Great Job against the Blade due to the presence of Genuine Corning Glass Protection and passes my Scratch Test with ease Next up, moving onto fun Stuff with Value, the Bend Test will give you a Clear Indication about the Build Quality of Devices and will prove to us if there are any Structural Flawz in the Build and Design! Buying a Smartphone is certainly not a small investment and for the money we're Paying, we as consumerz deserve a Strong Build Quality even in the Budget Segment. Mi Devices of the Past have not alwayz been the Strongest, including few Redmi Devices like the Redmi Note 4 or 7, specially the Redmi Y3 and the Y2 which had terribly failed my Bend Test due to extremely Poor Build Quality. But in recent times, Mi and Redmi have really improved their Build Quality Game, giving us Strong Devices like the Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8a, the Mi A2 and A3 and the recent Poco X2! The Redmi Note 9 Pro here also seemz to be following the same Trend of Strong Structural Strength after 2 Bends from the Display and Backside During the 3rd Bend though, there is a Clear Cracking Sound from Below. The Sound was due to a Break near the Side fingerprint Scanner. The hole due to the Side Scanner has compromised the frame and Structure below the Volume Buttons, specially at the lower Part of the Scanner Things take a bad turn from here on, which was unexpected since the Recent Poco X2 had done Great in my Bend Test.

Anywayz, letz continue with the Bend Test and see if the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Locks out and survives 0r fails From this Point On, I had to stop applying pressure because of the tiny Glass Splinterz threatening to injure my handz The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and Pro would have been a Strong Device like the Poco X2, if not for the large gap at the Right Side. The Main Problem is the Side Mounted fingerprint Scanner and the gap it creates in the frame, due to which the Side Structure getz severely weakened. As you can see, the Back Glass has Completely Shattered, along-with damage to the Sound Unit and the Charging Port. Applying further Pressure will have also damaged the Motherboard and the Display which is somehow still alive at this Point The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is Strong upto a Certain Point but beyond that unfortunately it failz my Bend Test due to a weak and compromised Build from the Side Scanner. It is Strongly Recommended to try and avoid Accidental Pressure, like in Tight Pocketz.
