Redmi 9t vs Redmi 9 Speed Test ( Comparison)

Hi guys it's can oleo here and welcome to my very first speed test review video on this channel. I am very excited to be doing this today here we're going to be testing the speed between the Xiaomi Redmi 90 on my left here and the Xiaomi Redmi 9 on the right before we begin, I'm going to be dropping the specifications of both devices right on your screen here on my left here. The Redmi 90, which I call the big battery boy, has a 6 000 William battery. As you can see, it has a very fine reflective surface when you turn it behind and outside the Redmi insignia. It comes with a Qualcomm snapdragon 662 processors, built on 11 nanometer process, and it also has an Arduino 610 GPU to help it out with graphics. This particular version here comes with 128, gigs of storage and 4 gigs of ram, and, as you can see here, it is running on me while 12.0.7, which I actually updated. It came with me like 12.0.1 yeah. Now we go over to the Redmi nine on my right here.

The Redmi Note here is a 2020, mid-ranger. It has a MediaTek hello, g80 gaming processor, built on the 12 nanometer process. This version has 64 gigs of internal storage and four gigs of ram. It is running on mini 2.0.03, and it has a Mali c52, mc2 GPU for graphics and also 5020 Williams of battery. So the first test we're going to be conducting here is going to be the restart test.

As you can see, I'm going to be cleaning up all the apps on both devices from the recent apps see. There are no recent apps available here, so I'm going to be turning both devices off at the same time to find out which device actually comes on first, and we're going to be turning off both devices right about now, so they're, both coming up the book coming up the book coming up and three two one: okay. Finally, Redmi 90 comes up first, followed by the Redmi nine, but let's see which one boots up to the desktop faster than each other uh. The Redmi name actually boots up first, but let's see if it gets to the desktop first and the Redmi 9 actually takes to win in this. Very this particular category when I actually got to know about these specs.

I wasn't too surprised, given the fact that the Redmi 9 is a gaming processor. Why the Redmi, 90, um snapdragon 63, is more of a power efficient processor, but the g90 is actually the newest device than the Redmi 9. So many webs expected that this should be faster. But in this case the restart test goes to the Redmi nine. So let's go over to opening some apps and see how this actually performs.

So I'm going to clean up all the apps, and we'll start with the very first apps on the other side, but both of them are actually going to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, as you can see here about now, so they're both connected and let's check out the apps. So I want to turn off the brightness to the level on the highest level on both devices and, let's start by let's start over the apps. So the very first app we're going to be opening up is going to be the adobe scan app here on the left, and we'll hit it together and see which one comes up faster now, so so all right. So that is all for the app speed test right now, we're going to be benchmarking, both devices to find out which one performs better in single core and in multi-core when it comes to single core. It deals with applications that have failed to going on for them.

Example, games that seem to utilize just one processor at a time to perform all his actions. Multi-Core performance or multi-threading deals with a lot of applications that have a lot of things going behind the background, just like photoshop, et cetera, et cetera and most devices built today are made to handle both kind of capabilities here. So I'm going to benchmarking this, and I'm going to rush to this quickly, so you can see the scores at the end, even in the benchmarking test, the Redmi Note is faster in completing the benchmark. All right here we have the scores here in single core performance. The Redmi Note is better at 359 than the 299 of the Redmi 90, but the difference now comes in multi-core performance, but the Redmi 90 scores 1206 and the Redmi Note calls 8158.

So what it means here is that the Redmi 90 will basically take you through intensive single core applications like gaming account issues, but the Redmi 90 is going to take you much more further from the applications that do a lot more like video editing out so for phones, so that is for the geek bench test. Okay, right now we're going to be doing the ram management test. We're going to be finding out which of these devices can actually manage a lot of applications. In the background, mini is a very aggressive ram management UI. It actually is well known for not keeping applications running in the background, unlike most other royal oasis in many ways.

Oh, this is also good, and these are so bad and since it helps to save more memory, but you can't leave your favorite app in the background for too long without it going on. So here I'm going to be doing some select applications here, and I'm going to be finding out, which one actually does better and keeping applications running. In the background, except a few apps, most of the other apps were forced closed by the mini ram manager. So, if you're looking for power efficiency, if you're looking for big battery go for the Redmi 90, but if you're looking for high performance, if you're looking for uh gaming performance go for the Redmi 9 on the low budget segment, so please do not forget to hit the subscribe button below and the bell notification icon by the side to be notified about new videos whenever they drop.
