Realme 7 Pro GOOGLE CAMERA VS STOCKšŸ”„ SURPRISING RESULTS!

Hey guys medic here, and today we're gonna check out google camera on the Realme 7 pro, so the g cam that I've been using in this video not only works with the main sensor, but it also works with the wide-angle lens, and the process to install Guam is actually very, very easy. You don't have to deal with any config files, just download the APK, and you're good to go. We'll talk about the installation part later, but first I want to compare photos from stock camera on the realm 7 pro to Guam, because there are some advantages to this and there are some disadvantages as well. So yeah, let's get started with the photos in broad daylight, and here, if you see the photos side by side initially, you won't be able to notice that big of a difference, Realme stock camera does a great job and so does g cam. But when you try to look for you know little things in the photo, you can see that stock camera sometimes tries to produce over contrast photos. By that I mean that it sometimes crushes the shadows, and you see a lot of darker regions in the shadows in comparison to Guam.

Guam has slightly better dynamic range overall, the shadows are cleaner there, and you do get some sort of details there, whereas on the stock cap, it's pretty dark in the shadows. So that's one of the difference that I noticed the other difference that I noticed was that sometimes, when the HDR mode was on the stock app it used to, you know over expose the photo slightly, so the colors ended up looking a bit faded or unnatural. It looked like it was from a painting, especially in these photos. You can see the color of the building, it's more accurate on Guam and in this photo, if you see the scene outside the window, it looks like a painting on the stock app, whereas it looks a lot more natural on Guam. So these are the differences between the stock, camera and Guam.

The detailing was more or less similar in some photos. I saw more details on the stock cam and in some other photos I saw better detailing on Guam. So detailing was not that big of a difference, but I could see these minor. You know differences in colors and dynamic range in indoor conditions. Once again we have a very similar situation.

You can see that the stock camera tends to crush the blacks in the image you can see. The shadows are pretty dark, whereas on the other hand, Guam overall produces a much better photo. So yeah Guam is minutely better in all the photos in daylight and indoor lighting, but when you actually jump into the low lighting mode, this is where the stock camera shines. This was quite surprising to me because every time you compare night mode on any phone to night sight on g cam night side is always better, but here, as you can see, real me's nights cape mode is better than Guam's night sight. So yeah, not only the photos, are more detailed, but in some photos you actually get more light than google camera, so that was pretty confusing to me.

Realm has tuned the nights cape mode. A lot on the realm 7 pro and I don't think you need to use Guam when you're taking photos in low light. The stock camera does a tremendous job, and I was quite surprised with the output in extremely low lighting conditions, so yeah good job real me. After that I took some portraits and some normal shots with the rear facing camera, because a lot of people requested me to include human samples in the camera test as well, because honestly, the majority of the time people like to take photos of themselves or their loved ones with their phone's camera. So, as you can see here, I feel the Guam output was slightly better in a lot of these photos.

Not only Guam had better dynamic range, but the detailing was also better in these photos, and I feel the skin tones that I had were also a lot more natural on Guam. You can also see the color of my shirt and my t-shirt. It's more accurate on camps, so in portrait shots I feel this is where we saw a good difference. Stock camera was not as good as Guam after that, let's move on to the front facing camera, and here once again, I like the output from Guam in comparison to the stock app the stock app a lot of times used to over, expose the images for some reason. I don't know why, especially when you turn on the portrait mode, you can see that the highlights are blown out a lot in a couple of selfies in comparison to that.

Guam overall has much neutral, much balanced image, so yeah. I liked the output from Guam in comparison to the stock app if you're going to like taking a lot of selfies use Guam, because the detailing is also better, and you get better skin tones and better colors. So definitely the front camera gets a push with Google camera and then, if we talk about the wide angle lens, once again, I feel the output from Guam was a lot more neutral in comparison to the stock cap. The stock apps for some reason used to over process the images a lot sometimes realm hasn't worked on the wide-angle lens. As such, they worked on the primary lens, but the processing on wide angle is quite poor, so you can compare the two photos side by side and with Guam you get slightly better photos with the wide-angle lens as well so yeah.

Basically, this is how google camera performs on the realm 7 pro. You don't see that big of a difference, but there are certain cases where google camera outperforms the stock camera. I was especially surprised by how good the night mode was on the realm 7 pro, but anyways. Let's come to the installation part. So the installation part is very easy, so I was actually using two APKs one for the night side photos and one for everything else, so I'm linking both of them in the description box.

So what you have to do is you just have to install the Google camera APK after that give a couple of permissions and then what you have to do is go to settings, and here you need to enable both of the auxiliary lenses. So after you do that, you will get an option of 0.6x and 2x. So when you switch to 2x, this will switch to the wide angle lens and when you do a 0.6 x, it switches to the black and white sensor that the Realme 7 pro has. I tried clicking photos with it, but a lot of times the app was crashing. So only the wide angle and the main sensor is working, and this is how you can install Guam on the Realme 7 pro as of now.

This is the best google camera that I could find on this phone. If there is any update later on, I will definitely make a video about it and yes, this also works with real me. X2 pro x50 pro. Basically, a lot of Realme phones are supported with this g cam. So if you have any Realme device, try it out on your phone and let me know how the experience was as of now.

This is all I have to say about google camera on the realm 7 pro. If you guys have any questions, please let me know in the comments: do let me know your feedback after you try out this Guam on your phone and, like I said this is compatible with a lot of other devices as well, so you can try this out on your Poco x2 Redmi or any other phone. That's it for this video thanks for watching, and I'm going to be back in a notification very, very soon. Thank you. Stay home and stay safe.
