POCO X3 GT IN-DEPTH Review POWER PLAY!

Uh hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tag, good to see you guys again, and I'm here to share my unboxing and review of this. The Poco x3 gt a phone that I truly think represents a power play in the mid-range smartphone segment. Could this be the best and most powerful phone for you to consider? Let's jump into this review, but before we get started, let's have a look at the unboxing, starting with design at 8.9 millimeters 193 grams. This phone is pretty much in line with the size of most of the other Poco devices. I've checked out like the x3 pro and the Poco f3, and you've got this very kind of nice. Glossy back with this glitter finish, but I will say this is guys plastic.

I would have loved to have seen gorilla glass on the back and the sides are also made of plastic similar to the Poco f3. But the good news is that you do have gorilla glass victim on the front, and you have pretty tiny bezels, both bottom and top, and a punch hole that, while not as small as the one on the Poco f3, still looks pretty good with this setup and the camera module on this looks pretty nice. I do like this silver border around the main camera and this phone is available in three colors, including stargaze, black wave, blue and cloud white. Now I wouldn't say the design is to the level of something like a m11 ultra or more premium devices, but still the design is a solid look on this Poco f3 gt display, and we have a 6.6 inch. Full HD, plus IPS lcd running at 120 hertz and a 240 hertz touch sampling rate, and this is definitely the star of the show.

The 120 hertz refresh rate lends to a very buttery smooth experience. Now, once again, it's not my favorite panel that I've seen on a Poco device. That title goes to the Poco f3, but with very minimal ghosting on the sides and a solid white point. This is about as good an LCD panel that you can get in a phone in 2021, but in DRM info a little of bad news here, l3 only on this phone now I think this may be due to software and maybe with the next update, we will see l1 capability, but just thought I needed to point that out. No HD Netflix support on this phone, but talking about performance- and this is where I think this x3 gt truly shines with the density 1100, eight gigs of ddr4x ram and 128 or 256 gigs of UFS 3.1 storage, you're, essentially getting a six nanometer flagship processor in this mid-range phone, and you see the entity scores.588 000 is an incredible score for a phone at this price point now the x3 pro brought the snapdragon 860, which was a terrific performer, but what this phone does is bring extra performance and 5g capability as well. All in all guys, the CPU, GPU memory and graphics performance is the true power play of this device, and if performance is of utmost importance to you, then this Poco x3 gt is the one to get and, of course, powering it all.

We have mini 12.5 with future updates available for this device, and I'm pretty sure this x3 gt will also be in line to get mini 13. When it's eventually released and talking about battery, we have a 5 000 milliampere capacity on this Poco x3 gt with 67 watt fast charging. I've been able to go two days easily with this phone, but what about the fast charging performance of this Poco x3 gt? But for the first time we are seeing a 67 watt charger at this price point. So there you see you guys with a time of just under 45 minutes, it's not the fastest, fast charger that I've had this year, but considering the price point. That is an incredible charging spec and result for this Poco x3 gt and talking about the fingerprint scanner.

We do have a side mounted unit similar to the Poco f3. It performs pretty much the same as the one on that phone and vibration motor good news, guys they put a really nice x-axis, linear motor, and, I would say the haptic feedback is better than the previous Poco x3 pro and closer in line to what we see on Xiaomi's flagship phones, a really great vibration. Motor in this phone, and you'll have all the latest comms on this Poco x3 gt, including Bluetooth, 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC capable as well. But there is one missing link here and that is the lack of band 20. I know it's very important for Europe, and it's kind of a bummer that it was not included on this phone, but you still get bands 26 and 28 an as well and of course this is a 5g capable device.

So we're going to do a quick speed test here in Hong Kong, on this Poco x3 gt, just stunning performance, and in my room, where I typically don't get great results to have well over 100 Mbps, is something that not even my iPhone 12 Pro max can achieve. And now it's time for the audio speaker test of this Poco x3 gt, let's point the mic forward and have a listen. What can I say, solid performance on this poke, x3 gt, giving me speaker, quality, similar to the Poco x3 pro or the Poco f3, as well, and with a dedicated top speaker just like the f3 you're going to have a very similar experience with this phone and, lastly, talking about cameras. We have a 64, megapixel, main f 1.8 camera and a triple camera system on this phone, including an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel macro camera, and the results in daytime are solid. This 64 megapixel camera can offer quite a lot of detail, and you see it's done a perfect job with this portrait shot now in night mode.

I think, if you're using the main sensor, you can do pretty well of it, but it's in the zoom shots here when things start getting a little more muddy, hopefully with software they can improve that. But you can still get some pretty solid shots at 1x at night, but have a look at these samples both day and night, and hit me up in the comments. What do you think? Oh, do so? This is rear facing video on the Poco x3 gt, shooting in 4k 30 fps, very smooth stabilization here through the fichu center location of many first looks on Frankie tech looks pretty good overall, listen to the mics here, how they sound and hit me up in the comments. What do you think- and this is front facing video on the Poco x3 gt, shooting in 1080p 30fps? It looks pretty good, let's see how these mics sound, but all in all guys pretty cool phone performance champ to say the least, but give me up in the comments. What do you think so? That's it for this video and my final verdict on this Poco x3 gt.

It's been interesting to see Poco strategy with the x3 line from the NFC to then the pro and now the gt, and I think, there's something to be had for each of these releases, the polo, x3 and FC. I think really represented the best camera capabilities and NFC included at that price point. The x3 pro took things up a notch and brought nearly flagship level performance and great looks as well. This x3 gt does deliver in quite a lot of other areas, and yet I think the key highlight of this phone is one thing. Performance and performance is the reason you would pick up this phone.

It truly is a power play on polo's part to include a density 1100 with near flagship level, performance and 5g capabilities, which is the first time you can say that about a x3 series phone and if performance and 5g capabilities are your key specs for picking up a phone in 2021, then I think this x3 gt nails that, and it truly is the power play that we've been waiting to see from Poco in the mid-range market this year, but hit me up in the comments. What are your thoughts on this Poco x3 gt, and do you think this performance champ is the right phone for you hit me up in the comments?
