POCO M3 Pro 5G Unboxing and Hands-On

What's up guys, Justine here of fintech and last year, 2020 we got our hands on the Poco m3. That sure was an upgrade from its predecessor, and now you've read the title. We finally got its pro version, and it is equipped with triple rear cameras, a 90 hertz refresh rate display and a 5g capable MediaTek density 700 processors. Alright, let's unbox it already so checking out this yellow familiar box as we lift it. We get the usual smaller box right away that contains the sim ejector tool, this free cool, polo, stickers, some paperwork and warranty and, of course, a free jelly case. Then going back to the bigger box, we get the unit itself.

Let's remove the plastic there. We go okay, let's set it aside. First, and then we have an USB type-c cable, as well as a 22.5 watts, power adapter and that's everything focusing on the phone. Now the Poco m3 pro is like to hold making it easy to grip. It has a 3d curved glossy polycarbonate back with a noticeable Poco branding below its triple camera module.

What we have here is in the power black color, while other color variants available are cool blue and a bold Poco yellow this design looks stylish. However, it is such a smudge magnet. So it's best to put the case on for buttons and parts on the right side. We can find the volume rocker together with the power button, the tuples as a fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, on the left side is a hybrid card slot for either two NATO sim cards or one NATO sim, plus a micro SD card up top.

We get an IR blaster beside the secondary microphone, and we also get a 3.5 millimeter headphone port here heading over to the bottom. You can find its down-firing loudspeaker, USB type-c port and a main microphone onto the display. We get a 6.5 inch, full HD, plus LCD dot, display with averagely slim bezels and a slightly thicker chin part, and just like the non-pro Poco m3. It's sealed with gorilla glass 3 for protection, but as one of the upgrades this m3 pro now has a dynamic switch 90hz refresh rate option, so it will automatically adjust between 90hz 60hz, 50hz and 30hz. Whichever is recommended located on the upper middle is a small notch for its front camera, and on top of it is the standard called speaker as for internals, the Poco m3 pro is equipped with a mini detective entity, 700 that supports 5g connectivity, of course, and it is paired with a Mali, g57, mc2, GPU, 4 or 6 gigabytes of ram and 64 or 128 gigabytes of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also runs on android 11 skinned with Xiaomi's modern, looking mid i12 battery wise.

It packs a large five thousand William capacity, which is weirdly smaller compared to the non-pro coco m3s, six thousand William capacity. Nonetheless, we still get 18 watts, fast charging tech and the included 22.5 watts charger in the box. Well, we'll test its battery further in our full review soon. Moving on to cameras, the setup is pretty much similar to its non-pro version. The triple shooters at the back are composed of a 48 megapixel main a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.

Meanwhile, for selfies we get an 8 megapixel front camera just like usual, we'll dive deeper in this department in our folder view. But for now take a look at the few sample photos. We got all right. This Poco m3 pro 5g will be available in two variants. The four gigabytes plus 64 gigabytes is officially priced at 899 pesos, while the higher 6 gigabytes, plus 128 gigabyte variant, is available for 11 990 pesos.

If you're interested it will go on sale.
