OPPO A53 First Impressions: Fast charging and Faster 90Hz display at a killer price!

OPPO has really taken the Indian smartphone market by a storm this year and the brand has already launched a bunch of interesting options in the country now. Clearly, the brand does not want to quit, while it's ahead because months after launching the a52 smartphone, the company is back with yet another enticing option in the form of the Oppo a53, which I don't need to tell. You capture the essence of a series of smartphones from the brand, and it offers a lot of first for the company. Now in this video, I will be giving you my first impressions of the Oppo a53 smartphone, so without any further ado, let's get on to the video now I want to start this video by talking about the one feature of the Oppo a53 smartphone, that you will be interacting with the most that's right. I am talking about the display of the phone, and here the Oppo a53 has marked a first for the brand, as it is the first Opel phone in this price segment to ship with the 90 hertz punch, hole display, and it gets even better because the phone comes with a touch sampling rate of 120 hertz, making this the smoothest and the snappiest display in its price segment. Let me also tell you that the Oppo 853 is the sleekest phone in the market, with a 5000 my battery and the brand's first smartphone, with the 90 hertz refresh rate under the rupees 13 000 price segment.

Unsurprisingly, system animations and transitions glide on the Oppo a53 and scrolling through my Twitter, feed or Instagram came across a breath of fresh air. There was no jitteriness to speak of, and the higher refresh rate made me want to stay on the screen. For that much longer, I think I can comfortably say that your screen on time is drastically going to increase once you start using the a53's gorgeous screen, and I personally found it very difficult to put the phone down now. The panel in itself is quite tall and sharp too, and it measures in at 6.5 inches and offers a HD plus resolution. Now the icing on the cake is that this display is wide l1 certified, which means that you will be able to stream all your favorite TV shows and movies in HD from popular streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon, prime, and thanks to the tiny Sancho launch, you will get an immersive all screen experience, whilst binging through your favorite TV shows in fact, having used the phone for a bit.

I don't even notice the notch anymore. The design of the phone is top-notch too, and at 8.5 millimeters the a53 is among the slimmer phones in the segment. The phone is available in three different colors of electric black fairy white and fancy blue and the model that you're seeing on your screens. Right now is the electric black one I quite like this hue, but I will admit the design shots of the fancy blue color variant. Look quite nice too, and between the two I'd say, go for that one.

But what I will say is that Oppo has done a darn good job with the finish here, and I'm sure that the etching on the phone's back must have already caught your eyes. Trust me as good as the footage looks on your screen. Pictures and videos really don't do justice to it. Moving on, though, despite its leak profile, the a53 doesn't skimp on any ports and offers a 3.5 mm headphone jack, along with the stereo speaker setup, which is somewhat of a rarity for phones priced under rupees, 13 000, and let me tell you, coupled with the phone's punch hole display. This does make the media consumption experience that much better for biometrics.

You get a rear, mounted fingerprint sensor with the phone which, in typical Oppo fashion, unlocked the phone amazingly fast. There's facial recognition on board too, which was just as responsive and convenient to use. I'd also like to add the phone is quite drippy to hold, and I felt confident using the phone without case, but don't worry there's one in the box. If you choose to use your unit with one now, moving on at the heart of the Oppo a53 smartphone is Qualcomm's brand-new snapdragon 460 processors, which, for the uninitiated offers a 70 performance jump over last gen snapdragon 450 platforms. It's also noteworthy that the a53 comes equipped with Qualcomm's latest SSC, which is one of the first batch of outscore socs announced in 2020.

The handset offers 64gb of UFS 2.1 storage and ships with 4 gigs of lpddr4x memory. However, you can also pick up the phone in a 6gb 128gb option. Now. What I really like about the a53 is that the handset also offers a two plus one sim card slot, allowing users to expand the built-in storage up to 256 GB and use two sim cards. At the same time now I didn't run into any lags or stutters during my initial stint with the phone, but I will have more to say once I fully tested the unit so stay tuned for that now.

Quite interestingly, Oppo has also employed an anti-lag memory, optimization algorithm with the Oppo a53 smartphone 6gb ram variant, which essentially expands the smartphone's cache storage, thereby ensuring much faster app load times. So, if you want the best performance, you better watch out for that skew. For now, though, let's talk about the battery life, and here the a53 comes equipped with a beefy 5000mah cell, which, coupled with the phone's power efficient processor, should comfortably last you two days of a single charge on moderate usage. Now, what's even better, the smartphone comes with an 18 watt charger in the box, ensuring you don't have to stay tethered to the wall plug for long now. I haven't tested the phone enough to give you a screen on time number, but I feel confident in saying that the phone will last moderate users at least a day and a half between charges.

Oh, and Oppo has also employed a smart charging system here, which essentially gauges the scenario when the smartphone is plugged in. So if the phone is plugged in and the display is on, the phone will automatically variate the charging current to ensure the best possible temperatures on the Oppo a53. And if that's not enough tech for you, then the phone also comes with a superpower saving mode, along with the sleep standby, optimization feature which should drastically increase your battery life camera wise. The Oppo a53 comes equipped with a 16 megapixel selfie camera up front, which, unsurprisingly clicks excellent selfies thanks in part to AI beautification feature which automatically adjusts the skin tone to look as natural as possible. Now Oppo made a name for itself in the country by offering selfie-centric phones to the masses, and I'm glad that the company's a53 builds up on the same legacy.

As for the rear camera setup, the handset gets a 13 megapixel primary camera, which works alongside a 2 megapixel macro sensor which, by the way, gets as close as 4 centimeters to a subject and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Here are some samples for you to feast your eyes on. Lastly, the Oppo f53 offers the company's latest custom skin color OS version.7.2, which runs on top of android 10. , now correspondingly you'll not only get all the staple android 10 features like a built-in dark mode or support for navigational gestures, but you'll also get some really cool, Oppo specific utilities like multi-user mode riding mode and music party. Now, as for the pricing, the Oppo a53 retails for RPGs 12 990 in India for the 4gb 64gb variant with the 6gb 128gb variant costing rupees 15 490.

The phone is now available on all offline stores and online platforms like Flipkart. If you choose to buy the phone online, then you can opt for numerous offers from the website, including no cost EMI options, as well as complete mobile protection for just ps1, but guys that wraps up my first impressions of the Oppo a53 smartphone. Now all things considered this looks quite promising, and it will undoubtedly stir things up in the budget segment. So if you're in the market for a value for money smartphone with good performance, this is shaping up to be a very good buy. But guys do.

Let me know what you make of the Oppo a53 smartphone in the comments below I'll see you very soon in another video. Until then, this is ratio from Mr phone signing off you.
