OnePlus Watch - The Good & The Bad | OnePlus Watch - Watch It Before You Buy!

Hey guys reviews about the OnePlus watch are out. Many news outlets have covered the OnePlus watch, and now we have everything about the OnePlus watch. Now I want to correct myself in the previous videos. I had told you that you can only take calls using the OnePlus watch, but you can actually make calls as well. You can dial numbers, or you have your contacts in the watch, so you can make calls using the watch. So that's something I wanted to tell you guys now before moving forward.

I want to clear a few things. First, I know I don't have the watch. I haven't even hold the watch in my hands and if you think I can't share information about the OnePlus watch. If I haven't used the actual watch, you can simply skip the video. There are other videos, and you can always watch those videos of your choice.

I can understand that I will not be giving my opinion by the end of this video, as I haven't used the watch, but all the things that I am going to share are facts, so whether I have used the watch or not, these facts are not going to change. For example, the watch has 1gb of ram, so that's a fact and that will not change even if I have used the watch, so you get the idea now. I will also not talk about in hand experience and how this watch feels when wore for the same reason because that will not be right, as I haven't used the watch now, all that out of the way, if you're still watching this video thanks a lot, so many reviews are out and the reactions are mixed. Some news outlets are saying that this OnePlus watch is good and some are saying that it's not so good. Now I have gone through almost every review of OnePlus watch and I noticed that each review says almost the similar pros and cons, and personally I was very excited about this OnePlus watch, so I followed it very closely and now that I have a clear picture about this OnePlus watch.

I thought I should share that with you all. So when it comes to the design, the round, dial and straps look perfect, but sources say that it's the same, tried and tested design OnePlus has played safe with the design of their smartwatch. So if you love the classic design, you will like it. The 1.39 inch AMOLED display panel is bright and responsive. The two buttons on the sides are tactile.

There's still no information about the display protection you get more than 50 watch faces, which you can use. According to your taste, you will need OnePlus health app to do that. As of now OnePlus watch doesn't support iPhones or iOS based devices. The watch currently does not have always on display, but OnePlus has said that this feature will be made available through a software update. This watch uses a standard sized strap, so you can always use your favorite watch strap with this watch.

The watch is 5 ATM and ip68 rated. It has all the necessary sensors. All the sensors are listed here in current situation. The blood oxygen sensor and heart rate sensors are, must have sensors talking about the features it runs on RTS, so it doesn't have Google's Wear OS. The UI is smooth.

There are some pre-loaded apps like weather torch and calls which you can use. This watch does not support Wi-Fi or LTE. So in order to get messages and notifications, you have to connect it to your smartphone. You can't install additional apps in this watch. As I've said you can make and take calls using this watch.

You get all your notifications, but you can interact with only some of them. For example, WhatsApp notifications have some predefined quick replies, but notifications from Gmail are non-interactive means you only get the notification. You can't interact with it. This watch has a speaker, and you can take calls using this speaker, but you can't listen to music using this speaker. So if you want to play songs, you need to connect your earbuds to your watch, and then you can listen to and control the songs from the watch.

It also has 4gb of storage, of which 2gb is usable, so you can store songs in the watch. The watch also has NFC, but it can't be used to make payments now talking about the health tracking features, as I've said, it has all the necessary sensors. As of now, you get 15 workout modes which are on your screen. After the software update, you will get access to more than 110 workout modes. This update is planned to arrive around mid-Mar.

The watch also has GPS. You can see all your workout related data in the OnePlus health app. This app has very simple UI, which is easy to understand. OnePlus claims the watch can last up to 10 plus days on a single charge, and it also supports fast charging. So I have given you all the facts.

I haven't added anything from my site. This is just all the things that I was able to gather from these reviews, and I thought I should share it with you all so that it will save a bit of your time, but as always, you can go and read or watch the reviews by yourself. Now, I'm strictly not giving my opinion in this video for the reasons I've mentioned, I was very excited about the OnePlus watch, and I was planning to buy it, but now I'm not, as I expected more smart features from this watch. In the end, I will say only this: the OnePlus watch is more like a smart fitness tracker than a full-fledged smartwatch. So what do you think about it? Did you like this video? If, yes give it a big like? If not, you always have the option to dislike the video soon I'm planning to make a video comparing the OnePlus watch with the Samsung active watch 2.

So if you are interested, keep subscribe as that, video is coming really soon. Follow me on Twitter at techxtrj, so guys, that's it for this video. Thank you so much for watching. I am RAJ, and I will see you guys in my next video, so you.
