OnePlus 8 Pro vs iPhone SE (SPEED TEST) - $1000 Android Flagship vs $400 Budget iPhone!

So, what is up guys its RJ here and welcome to the OnePlus April vs. the iPhone SE speed test. The OnePlus April goes for 1558 Canadian dollars after taxes here in Ontario, the iPhone SE, on the other hand, goes for 559 dollars after taxes here in Ontario, so I decided to put the best chips that you could find in an Android device. Today, the snapdragon 865 against the best kip said that apple has software, the 813 bionic. So my specific variant of the OnePlus, a pro, has 8 gigabytes of ram, whereas the iPhone SE comes with a default of 3 gigabytes of ram. But Apple does such a good job of optimizing, their software so much so that 3 gigabytes of RAM becomes irrelevant when it comes to performance.

Now, geek bytes cores do tell us that the 830 Bionic chipset is a bit faster when it comes to the single core score and in multi-core scores they're, both pretty much the same scoring at around 3300. But let's see how these facts translate into real-world performance and let me know what you guys think, which is going to win the iPhone SE or the OnePlus a pro in this speed test, but answer this poll question up above, but before we do continue. If this is your first time here on this channel, I would really appreciate if you guys, could even like down below and subscribe to the channel, because that would go a long way in helping the channel now. So, let's start off by doing a quick boot up toss. My prediction here is that the 1 plus a pro is going to come out on top because for some reason I thought always load up slower.

So let's quickly pull up the phone. So as expected, the 1 plus a pro did Buddha faster than the iPhone SE. The iPhone SE was likely behind just a little in terms of biometrics to help us a pro uses, it is ultrasonic a display of mascara, and it also uses face ID had the iPhone SE uses Apple psychic generation touch ID. So let's do a quick speed test and see which one's faster in terms of getting into our phone the face, ID or the well plus a pro is ridiculously fast like I, don't even have to look Garibaldi phone, it just quickly locks it. Like almost any angle.

Chef Assad is like he does even good about lock screen I can quickly bypass the lock screen. I just get to my phone with the iPhone SE. We do have to press that on the whole button to get to our phone, so press the home button, it gets into your phone. It is pretty quick also, but not nearly as fast as do you want, plus a pro just to reiterate. Both of these phones are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi, the iPhone SE has 35 percent battery up and the one per se Pro has around 39 percent party health, so they are relatively, are the same battery life.

The Campus April is featuring a gigabyte of RAM 120 Hertz, refresh rate display, so it does feel smoother when scrolling through the phone, whereas the iPhone SE has a 60 Hertz refresh rate panel, and it's not as quick. You can just tell like the smoothness of the device is much faster or the well per se approach, just refreshes. So fast. Look at that screen. It's just applied you to track without everyday day-to-day basis.

So let's conduct the speed test by opening up some apps. So we'll start off with Twitter 1 2 3, so the Rumpus a pro did come on top right there, the iPhone SE was lagging behind a bit. Let's open, Netflix, 1, 2 3 and with the OnePlus, a probe we are already into the phone and the iPhone SE is like behind just a little. Once again. Let's try YouTube studio one two, three man, the Campus, a pro is just so quick.

Let's try a Pok?mon Go a game, one two three and, as you guys, can see the Campus a pro here's a lot of a bit faster but iPhone as he is catching up. So, with the iPhone SE regarded Tupac will go a little faster, their other purpose, a pro. This is really because iPhones are better optimized for games for some reason and the Campus a pro is about simply new device or games might not be optimized. Let's carry on with the gaming theme and try to open clash, royale one two, three okay, so right there do. You want puss.

April did come out on top, so I'm pretty impressed right now. The one place, a pro is our ridiculously fast device. I am not kidding you. The Snapdragon 865 chipset, combined with a gigabyte of RAM, seems to be putting up some work. Okay, let's open up one of my favorite games for mobile Call of Duty, one two, three okay, so it looks like that.

iPhone SE has the head start: let's see what your knows faster. Ok, the iPhone SE is loading the game faster, mostly because it is optimized, but the one person a pro did catch up right there. Ok, so a slight advantage for the iPhone SE right there, just a slight advantage. Let's keep going with the gaming theme. Let's try to open up pub G one two: three pub G okay.

So once again the iPhone SE is quick to start initially pub G has loaded up a little for a faster, and it looks like the iPhone. Se is going to win once again, yep we're already in pub G and the Campus a pro did live behind just by a little. Okay, let's try to open up asphalt, nine one, two: three okay, so they're, the one plus a pro did load up faster I, don't know what's happening with the iPhone SE, and we finally got it. That was a bit strange. The iPhone SE did lag behind by a lot right there.

That was a bit strange I, don't know why that was happening. Let's open up some non gaming upstarts go with Reddit one, two, three, okay, so what it did open faster there. Now, let's try an Instagram. If you guys already art, follow me over on Instagram, please to follow an orange attack, one two, three okay, so I think right. There was a tie that may have been a tie, but as we scroll through our timeline, you guys can see how fast they won't pass.

A pro is just because of that 120 Hertz refresh rate. Oh, my goodness, look. How smooth that is now: let's try YouTube all of our favorite apps, one, two three, so the one plus a pro did come on top and the iPhone SE did like behind just a little once again and if you guys haven't subscribed to my channel, make sure you do I, don't attack. It goes a long way in helping the channel out so yeah I will be wrapping up the speed test right there. The iPhone SE is a four hundred our device.

Meanwhile, P one plus a pro, is a 1500 our device. So the question to ask ourselves is: are we really getting three times the performance for three times the price tag, and in this case, clearly we are not the iPhone SE is lagging behind industry just appropriate by just a little, which I think most people can't handle, but I think it was personally pretty cool to put up the snapdragon 865 against the iPhones 830 Bionic ships set to see which one came out on top, keep in mind the one per se, probably so expensive, because Qualcomm is solving this chip side for $400 a piece to these companies. Meanwhile, Apple does make their own chipset, so they can price it out whatever price they essentially want. As always. Thank you guys so much for watching and don't forget to flex with their attack.

No matter what phone you choose.
