Hi everyone welcome back to gear with OnePlus 8 pro camera replacement guides before starting. We need to have the right tools to proceed with the repair which you can find in the description. Let's start it by removing the back cover heat gently around the phone until the pasted, adhesive becomes soft for this, you can use the heat gun, heat pad or hair dryer, carefully work around on edges, and once you feel the heating is enough, insert the plastic CarPlay tool and slowly cut the adhesive off in between you can use a suction cup to lift the back up. First, it needs to take out the main board protector frame and wireless coil by undoing screws, undo, 11 screws and lift the protector cover using a pry tool, take out the protector cover and disconnect the battery connector plug. On the left hand, side it is not required, but it is good to disconnect the power while repairing it. Let's assume you need to replace both front and rear cameras.

There are four rear cameras and one front camera unplug all connectors and take it out. The main back camera comes as a three in one unit, which is, with the ultra-wide camera main camera and color filter camera, but it can replace individually by using a pry tool. Also, there is one more camera on the left hand, side, which is the telephoto camera, replace the not working camera with the new unit and restore it on the main board by connecting the plug, make sure to connect the battery connector and all camera connectors, including the front camera. Now we can add the frame with the wireless coil insert all screws back and replace the main back power make sure it has enough glue on it. If not use, b7000 glue or new double-sided back cover.
