ONEPLUS 6T vs ONEPLUS 9 Speed test comparison! Snapdragon 845 vs 888!! Worth UPGRADE??

What's up guys welcome back to yet another speed test comparison and this time it's between the real flagship killer with that of OnePlus 9. In my opinion, OnePlus 6 series was one of the best devices from OnePlus and those were real flagship during their time. So today, in this video we'll do a speed test comparison, and we'll see whether a two and a half years old phone can withstand with the latest device from one plus, so without wasting any more time. Let's get into the speed test comparison so here towards the left hand, side we have our OnePlus 6t and, towards the right hand, side we have our OnePlus 9. So first let me show you the software information on both the devices. As you all know, OnePlus 6 series is still running: android 10, OnePlus 9 running on android 11, and these are the hardware information OnePlus 6t came with snapdragon 845 processors, the OnePlus 9 have the latest snapdragon, which is triple eight and both of the devices are 8gb variant.

Let's see how in two and a half years old phone perform in front of the latest flagship from OnePlus here, both the devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, which is 5 gigahertz band. Here you can see we have few applications installed, which includes system, apps, shopping, apps, few social media applications and at last few heavy games. So we'll do side by side comparison, and we'll see which device opens up the applications faster and will also check the ram management on both devices. First, we'll start with the boot test, and we'll see which device boots up faster. So we don't have any recent application running in the background, so let's restart the device and see which device going to boot up faster, so tapping on restart in three two and one and boot up was faster on OnePlus 9, followed by OnePlus 6t.

Also, let me show you I have switched to 60hz on OnePlus 9, because OnePlus 6 series doesn't have higher refresh rate options, so here you can see on OnePlus 9. We have switched to 60 hertz. First, let's talk about the fingerprint unlock and face unlock on both the devices. So, while doing to unlock test with 60 and OnePlus 9, I did not see much of difference, but yes, OnePlus 9 was slightly faster than OnePlus 6t and now, let's start with the app opening speed, we'll start with few basic applications of system which are like calculator and clock. So, let's start in three two and one and both of them open the application.

At the same time, we leave it running in the background. Next we have clock that also opened up at the same time, on both the devices and guys. Here you will be the judges and, let me know in the comment section below which device performed faster in app opening speed and which device had better ram management and now, let's open up camera application in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine. We leave this application also running in the background moving on to the next application, which is gallery in three two and one, and that was slightly faster on one plus sixty and now, let's move on to the next application, which is chrome in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine. So we'll try to load our website, we'll see which device loads up the website faster and the entire loading of website was faster on OnePlus 6t.

Moving on to the next application, which is file manager in three two and one so here, file manager opened up faster on one plus nine. So here we have a file of 3gb, we'll try to unzip that file, and we'll see which device completes the process faster. So, let's tap on ok to unzip the file in three two and one and here OnePlus takes the lead huge thanks to snapdragon triple eight OnePlus 6t is still struggling to unzip the file and which took around 12 to 13 seconds extra, and now we have Amazon in three two and one, and that loaded up faster on one plus nine. Then we have Flipkart again slightly faster on OnePlus 9, followed by OnePlus 6t. Then we have Facebook loaded up at the same time on both the devices Instagram.

At the same time, on both the devices twitter slightly faster on one plus nine, and at last we have YouTube that loaded up faster on OnePlus 6t, followed by OnePlus 9, and now we have an application called flora. In this we have a 4k 60 fps video of one minute, we'll try to import that video first and after that, we'll apply same theme on that video to check out which device renders the video faster. So, let's open up flora in three two and one open up faster on one plus nine tapping on new project. Here we have the file which is of one minute, let's tap, on import in three two and one, and here one plus nine, taking a lead and importing the video faster OnePlus 6t, taking additional 12 to 13 seconds. Now, let's apply same theme on both these videos tapping on export and without premium membership of flora.

We can export video only in 720p. So, let's tap on export in three two and one and here in video rendering test, OnePlus 9 is way faster than OnePlus 6t and all credit goes to the latest snapdragon triple eight. So let's leave this application running in the background, and now we have few heavy games like free fire, asphalt, 9 Call of Duty and PUBG mobile and by the way on both the devices I have turned off gaming mode. So, let's start with the first game, which is free fire in three two and one, and here again, one plus nine is faster than one plus sixty. Let's leave this game running in the background now, moving on to the next game, which is asphalt 9 in three two and one and here again, OnePlus 9 was faster, but there was not much of difference.

Hardly one-second delay was seen on OnePlus 6t. Now we have next game, which is Call of Duty in three two and one and that's again faster on OnePlus 9. , OnePlus 6t is still struggling to load. The login screen and again took around 13 to 14 seconds extra to load the entire game. Last, but not the least.

Now we have PUBG mobile in three two and one- and here also one plus nine- takes the lead followed by OnePlus 6t, taking additional seven to eight seconds to load the game. So now, let's leave all these applications running in the background and will check out the ram management on both the devices. So we'll start off with the first application, which was calculator that's still available in the memory of both the devices clock is still available. Camera, obviously that will reload gallery reloads on both the devices chrome still running in the background file manager reloads on OnePlus 6t, but available in the memory of OnePlus 9. Amazon still running.

In the background of both the devices Flipkart still running Facebook still running in the background, Instagram still running on both the devices Twitter still available in the memory YouTube reloads on both the devices flora still running in the background free fire and that I think reloads on both the devices. So memory management is still not that great on one plus. Nine two, which we have seen in our previous speed test comparison videos asphalt, 9 asphalt, 9. I think it's still running on one plus 60, but reloads on one plus nine Call of Duty reloads on both the devices PUBG mobile, that's still running in the background of one plus 60, but reloads on one plus nine and huge thanks to software optimization for better ram management on OnePlus 6t, so guys this was the speed test between OnePlus 6t, which isn't two and a half years old phone with that of the latest device from OnePlus, which is OnePlus 9. And when it comes to app opening speed.

Yes, snapdragon triple eight was slightly faster than snapdragon 845, that's obvious! But if you talk about memory management, I think OnePlus 6t was doing better in the current situation as OnePlus 9 is a new device and few software optimizations are required for better ram management. But if you already have one plus 60 and if you're planning to upgrade to OnePlus 9, then currently, I won't recommend you guys. If you can wait for another four to five months, we might get to see OnePlus 9t series and I think that will be a better option which might come with snapdragon, 8 plus processors, so guys that was the complete speed test between both the devices. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below which device was faster in opening apps and ram management. As of now, only this much in this video hope you guys, like the video, if you like, the video, then do give me a thumbs up, and if you are new to our channel, then do not forget to subscribe.

The channel thanks for watching have a great day. You.
