OnePlus 6 vs OnePlus 5 - Speed Test

The latest OnePlus phone is now out, and I have here, alongside the one plus five I'm, going to be doing a speed test between both the one plus six and five in order to determine how much the latest device has been improved in terms of speed reason: I'm, not testing the one plus six against the 5c is because the 5t was seen as an incremental upgrade to the five. So it makes sense to test out devices that actually one version number apart. The relevant specifications pertaining to this test far as follows: the one plus six on the left has a Snapdragon, 8045, chipset and eight gigabytes of RAM or the one plus five has the Snapdragon 835 and six gigabytes of RAM. As always, with these speed tests, the results shown may not represent the true day-to-day experience you get from these funds, but it should give us a rough idea, and hopefully it can help. You guys decide whether you should upgrade from them 1 + 5 to the 1 + 6. So with that said, let's get to testing both these phones out.

So, let's test out the fingerprint readers first and see which one unlocks faster, they both unlocked exactly at the same time, so I'll give both phones. One point for that. Now, let's check to see which one loads up the camera first I've got a shortcut straight to the camera here on the bomb. So clearly the 1 + 6 won that round. So we've got 2 Chrome bookmarks here one to the verge and one to and gadget I'm going to try and press them both at the same time you will see which device loads them up first, and it looks like the one +61 that margin.

So let's try and gadget now and see which one does it faster. So it seems like the OnePlus 5 started and finished, rendering that website first a little odd, but nothing alarming as it was fairly close I'm going to now move on to opening up some applications. First, let's make sure all the applications are posed. So we've got a few applications here to test. Let's start with Instagram first and the 1 plus 5 wins that well didn't expect that at all now, let's try YouTube.

Both devices appear to have dubbed at the same time, onto Amazon again, both at the same time now I'm going to try IMDB once again, both devices finished at the same time. So now, let's move on to something a little more intensive. Let's go with Mario run first, and it's the 1 plus 5, very weird indeed that sword you'd expect it would be the 1 plus 6. Now, let's try temper one two. It looks like the one plus six wins, but it's by such a very small margin, one more game of the list: Sky Force reloaded again the one plus six with a very small margin and give that point to the one plus six, but seriously I want to really consider it that much faster.

We can now move on to actual benchmark tests, as always I'll be using Geek bench for this I'll run the CPU benchmark. First, the one plus six finishes, first at 3 minutes and 25 seconds, getting a single core score of 2467 and a multi-core score of nine thousand and eighty-one, the one plus five finishes later at four minutes and four seconds getting a lower score, a single core squad, 1977 and a multi-core score or six thousand three hundred and forty. Now we can move on to the final Geek bench test. To compute benchmark is that the assumption is that the one plus six will finish first and get higher spool. But let's see what happens, the one plus six does indeed finish.

First, at 42 seconds, getting a score of 14,000 and 267. The 1 plus 5 finishes a little later at 53 seconds, getting a score of seven thousand eight hundred and sixty-five. So the one plus six scored nearly twice as much, not surprised here. The one plus six is a newer device with a newer chipset. So the one six pretty much wins in terms of points, but it's the benchmark tests that really wanted the speed test, otherwise application and game logic speeds are very similar.

You probably shouldn't buy into the marketing that one plus six is significantly faster in real life usage, as you saw from this test in benchmark test than one plus. Six does do a lot better, but benchmarks aren't everything if you're planning on upgrading to the one plus six it should be because of the of upgrades, like the camera, I'll, be doing a camera test sometime soon. So, if you're interested please subscribe, that would help me out a lot. This has been AJU from tech tonic thanks and see you later.
