Official OnePlus 9 3D Tempered Glass Screen Protector Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech, and today I am back with another big unboxing for you for the OnePlus 9. This is not the pro. This is giving me the regular nine, because we got a tempered glass screen protector, that's available for it. Obviously, with the nine pro it's got that curved screen, so we're not looking at a tempered glass screen protector, we're probably looking at some other trash ones, so we're going to check this one out, though so, hopefully this is going to be a hit for your brand new OnePlus 9 presentation looks good. This is gonna, run you about 29 bucks. I believe that's how much I paid for it's been a little while now I've been sitting on this one for a couple of weeks forgot about it almost, but presentation looks perfect.

You got the red and white, and then you can see the cutout with the hole punch up top built tough 3d timber glass, 9h, hardness all that good stuff. So let's get right to it guys to see if it's a hit or miss. We got a little tab right here, so we shouldn't bust out the trusty unboxing knife. Hopefully not, let's go and check it out here, though, all right, let's see what we got, I'm you know it's one of those things that super happy. We got a tempered glass screen protector for the nine, the nine pro you just don't get that with the curb screen.

It's just a tough situation, you're not getting a demoralized screen protector for the most part for a curved screen. So one thing I noticed right out of the back my favorite uh little installation buddy. This is the installation alignment kit. You got the little tray which I appreciate gives you perfect alignment see what else we get here, nice little presentation from OnePlus. They always do it right for real out of all the companies.

I think besides uh, maybe apple. Does it right, uh, Samsung, okay for accessories, but OnePlus? Does it right? Uh squeegee got your one plus microfiber cloth to wipe it down, wipe it down like we do dust removal sticker, that's pretty much it. So we got we're ready to go and then tempered glass screen protector. Let's go and check this out got the installation instructions. Let's check it out, looks like they got some more.

They got a video, so go to that. OnePlus website check out that video all right, then we got the tempurglass screen protector feels real thick, but that's part of the plastic on the sides, but you got definitely some nice heavy duty. Tempered glass screen protector. That's one thing: OnePlus has always done uh. They haven't always made the best screen protectors, but they've really always made heavy-duty screen protectors.

So that's kind of my opinion on this. I'm currently rocking the otter box casement, okay, not bad case expensive, but not bad. Let's go take it off wipe it down, wipe it down, make it look beautiful. Look at that love it all right, so we're gonna. Take it off, give it an onesie over we'll take off this little layer of plastic every one of them comes with this.

Hopefully I think, depending on your territory, and I'll, give you guys an idea what that is. That is not a tempered glass screen protector. That is not a regular. This is just a layer of plastic. Now what that does? It will pro from basic scratches, but obviously it's not going to be heavy-duty protection.

So that's what you're going to get! You can hear that what you're going to get on your actual one plus 9 itself, so it's definitely not heavy-duty protection for anybody that was wondering, let's go and wipe it down, give it kind of onesie over now. Sometimes they give you a wet wipe this one. They don't give you a wet wipe which it is what it is. I would prefer the wet wipe we'll take the dust removal sticker, give it an onesie overlooks good, we'll keep this around, though in case you actually make a mistake. Keep this around that actually comes in super handy, so we'll take the alignment tool up top right here.

That's how it's going to look all right, so we got the actual one plus take it like this. You can see the ones up top. You can see hole punch, that's going to be your key for the alignment perfect like that slap it on like this, obviously want to kind of make sure the hole punch is lined up right. There we go there we go get. The squeegee out looks pretty good for the first, not without having to do much.

Squeegee action looks pretty good. You guys can see what you're looking at okay a couple at the bottom. Let me put the video on pause, I'm going to turn on the screen, so you guys have an idea how it actually looks with the screen on. So you guys can see if there's any type of light bleed I'll get kind of those last few bubbles out looks pretty good, though back in the day. I remember for the installations from OnePlus.

It used to be a struggle having to get those bubbles out. This looks pretty good, though all right so hold tight, guys be right back all right guys. Welcome back! So we got the screen protector applied. It went on very smoothly. I got full edge protection.

You can see it's actually all the way up to the very border around the actual speaker as well. You got full edged around the edges, so very nicely done. Let's go and turn it on you can see. I was looking for some white light bleed, so I went ahead and checked this out, so you can see white screen. Is there any type of light blue? When I say light bleeding? Is this white bleeding off the edges? Now? No, they got do got a black border, and it's not taking any real estate of your screen either, and it looks to be a precise fit.

You can see right there. I want to give you guys a white screen. Look at that perfect around the actual hole punch. So it's very good. You don't see any type around this edge.

You can kind of see just that's actually how it's cut out so very nicely done. It's not cutting it in much of the real estate, so very nice fit feels very natural to the touch got a very nice feel to it kind of I think, maybe going to be some resistance to some type of fingerprints, but overall my impressions of this one. I think it's going to be worth the money. Let's go check it out and see if it's worth the money with a third-party case, precisely the Samsung, I should say not the Samsung, the uh otter box case now this is going to be full edge, edge protection all right, so you got full coverage here. This is not popping up.

I got full coverage. You got edge protection, big boy case, very nice overall protection. You can see the thick lip that the and then also the edge to edge screen protector. So this is nicely done. You drop it.

You should be good to go from at least an initial um drop. But overall I have to say: yeah. It's probably an expensive screen protector, but I would say that I would recommend this one to anybody. Looking for a screen protector right out of the gate. So if you're not looking for a third-party screen protector, you don't wait for a few reviews, and you need one right away.
