Mate 20 X vs Mi Max 3 vs Mi Mix 3 vs Pixel 3 XL - EPIC Battery Drain Test! By Frankie Tech

Hi guys its Frankie from Frankie Tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here today with this epic battery drain test between the May 20 X, the max 3, the mix 3 and the pixel 3 XL, and this has been an epic video to produce to film and to edit guys. So, thanks for all your support and showing you here, it's just an early setup of this test. All the phones are on the same Wi-Fi made sure that also made sure to clear all background processes here on all four of these phones. This is the most epic battery drain test, guys I've ever done on Frankie tech, and so you see here, I will be implementing as I have on the previous battery drain test the light meter, and so all these screens are going to be measured to approximately 100 Lux and what that basically means is give or take a couple. Lux I want to make sure that the brightness is set equal or as close to equal on all of them, and I've turned automatic brightness off on all these phones right here. So it's pretty much we're ready to go I'll be using my trusty me a2, as my timer, so shout out to the 80 right here and let's get this started.

Guys. I'm gonna count down here in three two one, and we're off, and we're off to the races guys in this epic battery drain test now did have an anchor hub that was plugged in to all these phones, I've unplugged, all the phones and now, let's jump right into the first set of tests here, and you see what I'm opening here is a pretty standard of what you guys may know already: Frank tech, that's right: Frankie tech, playlist and a new playlist here check it out guys on my new playlist on Frankie Tech I'm going to be running YouTube. That's right, guys YouTube for not one, not two, not three but four hours, guys four hours incredible, and you can see here- also be running Instagram camera, Spotify asphalt, 9, podcast and then the battery drain up till death. So let's see how these phones do after four hours, so apologies guys for the park video. In this section my wife was taking a nap, so I had to keep the lights off for this one quick segment you see here they have four hours in, and how were we doing? I couldn't believe it because the May 20 X was up by 78%.

The max 3 was down to 70%, I was shocked and the mix 3 and the pixel 3 Excel were right behind at 68 and 61 I couldn't believe it, but we couldn't stop there. We had to go straight to the next section, and that was Instagram for 1 power right here and just to make sure I actually switched the other phones and there you see it. All of them were now running just videos on Instagram to the exact same way. Let's see how they do. One hour later guys and let's see where we're at now after 1 hour, the May 20 X's at 73% the max 3.

It's just not handling video really well, 64% I didn't understand what was going on, and I was shocked, because the makes 3 with a much smaller battery was at 61 with a pixel not far behind really incredible results here that you know not far into the test, but we have to keep going right here and the next segment was front. Camera video for 30 minutes, I like doing this one, because 30 minutes is about as many videos you never film in one single go in one day. So let's see how they do here and let's see the results after 30 minutes 30 minutes in and let's see how they're doing- and this was the real separation I think between now the big and the small phones to May 20x and me maxi, we're at 67 and 55%, and the mix 3 in the pixel 3 Excel we're now below the halfway mark. After that front camera video- and so let's jump right into the next section here- and the next section was Spotify for one hour guys. I took kind of login quickly here on the max 3, but once I had them all ready to go ready to play some progressive, EDM right here for one hour and everything was set up so one hour Spotify.

Here we go guys. Let's see how we did one hour later, guys 6 hours and 30 minutes. These are beats indeed, and there it is the May 20x with 60% and the max 3, still falling down quite a bit at 47 with the mix, 3 pardons trails at 41, but the pixel 3 excels fallen far behind now, but we couldn't stop there guys we had to just keep going, and the next round was asphalt.9- and this is gonna- be a major test of the GPU and the efficiency of each chip right here, and the plan here was to just keep playing the game over and over again, like I did in my previous test, and so you see here once one race was over, we started the game again, we keep playing that's right again and again and that's right again: I must have played the game at least 10 or 11 times in a row guys, but let's see how we did after seven and a half hours guys here on asphalt 9. How did these phones do? And oh my gosh? Oh, this killed the little phones guys, and so the mate 20x is still at 49%, and the max 3 is now stayed put in a higher range than the makes three in the pixel three XL, which are now in 222 and 11% ranges gosh. The little phones just can't handle the big games, but we couldn't stop there guys way to go straight into Google podcast for one hour right here so and to play one of my favorite tech guy podcasts right here and for one hour this shouldn't be the most taxing task, but I was looking at the pixel 3x out there and knowing that any minute it was gonna, kick the bucket so one hour, but we'll get pixel through Excel even make it, and here we go restate our mark and the pixel 3 Excel is at 4 percent battery life and just eight minutes later it was in the final death throes, guys 1% battery life right here in any minute, I was going to have my first victim of his battery drain system.

There it is there. It goes. That was the lab and them in fourth place, unfortunately, guys the pixel 3xl within time of 8 hours, 8 minutes and 26 seconds good performance, but it really just couldn't hang with the big boys right here. Sorry pixel through excel. I love you love your camera, but this race.

This test must go on, and so after google podcast for one hour, we see the May 20x still in the 40 percent range me max 3 with 28 and the mix.3 now is the next one on death watching at 8 percent, and I was ready to kill these phones. So what did I do? I went back to YouTube guys. I need to kill these bees so YouTube for another hour here, and we're just going to continue with the Frankie tech playlist of before right here and always making sure that I maximize the screen there guys so, let's see how they do in one hour from now and nine hours and twelve minutes we're going to get to one hour guys, because the makes three was in the final moments. One percent right there and these big boys are gonna- keep going in this test here, so I was ready to and just waiting for that moment to catch. The time of the makes three.

It was any second now and YouTube has just been brutal too, and there it is guys. Oh wow, I almost missed it. That is it for the mix three with a time of nine hours, 12 minutes and 55 seconds, actually really impressive results. Given the three thousand two hundred mill ampere battery size. This thing hung on with the big boys for a long time better than the pixel three Excel.

So me mix three and pixel three exhale, you guys are gone and guess what guys and then there were two exactly, and we're going to the bitter end. With this epic drain test, and at this point I figured, you know what we've done YouTube for one hour, what's another 30 minutes, so the road to 10 hours was right here, and I was gonna. Do YouTube for 30 more minutes here on these epic big battery felons incredible and three two one and there we were ten hours unbelievable. This is insane, and these phones have just kept going here, and I was just so impressed at this point with both of these phones and so after 90 minutes of YouTube, the mate 20x, you read that right, 30 percent you've had that right and the B max 3 at 16%. This phone is just incredible.

Both of these phones are doing really great, but the mate 20x is just unbelievable here. I, just it shocked me, and so this is it guys. This is the moment the battery drain app until death, a new tradition here in the Frankie TEC battery J drain test, and so this app basically uses every sensor in every part of the phone. It will vibrate and will do everything it will just pretty much brine the screens and there you go guys, it will start, and this will pretty much drain them until death right here and so in 10 hours and 34 minutes to me, max 3 was in the final moments of its life. It had a great run here guys, but it was coming to a better end and just really impressive.

How much you can do with these fellas guys, it's just unbelievable and there it is guys that was pretty much it for the max 3 what an epic showdown, but, as you know, there always has to be the second place, and the max did an admirable job at 10 hours and 34 minutes 46 seconds. But the budget battery King has been dethroned, ohm, Mac, 3, I love, you really do love. You and I will always love you, but you are through and there's a new battery king in town, guys that is the mate 20x Hun unreal, and this test has to keep going until the bitter end, and so here we were guys a few seconds away. Could it be? Oh? No, it's put the notice up how we got there. We got to 11 hours right on the dot and oh my gosh.

This thing is going to die any second here, but it passed the 11-hour mark just barely I was ready to press the lap here and there it is guys the end of this epic battery drain tests on Frank Tech and your winner. Here, with a time of the new, that's right, the new battery king of 11 hours and 17 seconds, the winner of the battery drain test, the mate 20x, what a turn of events and just adjust to the lighting here.
