Long Term Review: Redmi 9C | 9 Months Later By Ariflytical

Hey, hello, everyone. It's me reef, and today we have a long-term review with the Redmi 9c. I've been using this phone for a long time, and it has been daily driven by my mother for the longest period of time. So I also have her uh verdict given as well as my verdict upon using the phone uh by the way. Let's take a look at the unboxing uh, this was a quick unboxing done uh once it once I got it on the mail, so it's quite finicky, the video and all that. So I hope you guys like it and if you do, let me know, as you saw the unboxing.

Our first impressions were kind of mixed anyhow. Here we have a 6.53 inch display with 269 PPI due to its low resolution of around 720p, and the feel of the phone is great, even though it's plastic. I really like this textured finish and the fingerprint is perfect for me. I like the placement, so no complaints with the feel of this device. However, the charging speed is around 10 watts.

That's quite sad to see due to the battery being huge around 5000 my. The next disappointment is the cameras here I didn't expect much, but me personally, I would prefer single good camera instead of useless macro depth and multiple camera setup. What do you guys think the buttons here feels good enough if there is nothing to complain due to the price I forgot to mention, we also have a headphone jack here? These things are getting pretty antique here, including the micro USB port. I really need type c to be the norm these days and the speaker well, you'll hear it soon and there is this bottom firing microphone. It's nothing unique.

It has perfect. Clarity for daily calls. Take a look at the display and the speaker test. Okay, right now about my experience with this device, I really had a short time experience with this, because I haven't used it for my daily drive or something I've used it for like two to three days, also in between of the weeks and also suddenly, whenever my mom used to give me the phone, so the phone is okay. I don't like the display at all.

You can trust me. I hate this display because I prefer amulet more than LCD, maybe due to that, but according to LCD, it's okay, but the viewing angle is awful, and when you go to sunlight, you can't see the screen. Clearly, the sunlight, like the experience is the worst one. The daylight experience is the worst with this device, so yeah just take it just be careful about the display. Whenever you look at it, it just doesn't.

Look that good, but content watching color saturation, the display everything is perfect, in my opinion. Next up, it's about the camera. I don't like the camera. To be honest, I that's what I said at first. I just would have preferred the best camera.

Only one camera is enough for me. I don't need two to three cameras. I just need one that just can take my shots. That, however, I wanted. I have some few samples over here.

I hope you could take a look and if you do like them just let me know I don't like them most of them. Most of their white balance is off, HDR, sometimes kicks in and makes it look good. Sometimes there is optimization. Sometimes there is no optimization. I don't know it's just Xiaomi with their budget phones or Redmi, so yeah, I don't prefer this device much of, but according to the budget, I think it's perfect for my mother and whoever uses their device quite lightly uh, but me as a have user.

I really don't like this device, but uh you can just check out my mother's experience. Maybe you will find it like. You know more breathtaking. I don't know her. Experience is going to be different from mine, obviously because she has been using it as a daily driver.

So this is my experience from a short term music. I hope you understand from where I'm coming at and what's my perspective I have been. I have been moving from my s9 to this device whenever I shifted for the short term usage, but I never kept that one as my daily driver. Furthermore, I preferred my s9 more than that one. Hopefully, I'm going to change my device, as I said in the previous videos.

Hopefully, you guys will be able to check it out and so yeah take a look at my mother's experience. Specs I have around 2gb ram and this is a 38gb storage version. Uh. This one has the optical CPU with a maximum 2.3 gigahertz. It's still at android 10.

I haven't received the android 11 uh updates, yet at the time of recording uh and the mini is obviously at New York for the latest version uh. So, according to the storage, as you can see, I have already used up around 22 GB. It's like only used up for, let them just show up hold on yeah. I have used 475 before images. My videos have been quite a lot um and my system already it's around 7 GB, so it's like quarter is already gone for 30 GB, some of that and yeah others are 7.60. I don't know what is that other event and therefore applications? I only use 3gb, so I'm left with around how much let's check oh yeah, I'm left with around 7.60 GB, that's what they meant my bad um, so yeah. This is how much this storage has been heating up.

It's quite uh, okay for my mother, because she's, not a heavy user like mine like me so yeah these are Redmi 9c and these are all the specs and the animation of mini is so good. Let me just show you this animation. I really like this one. This is a dark matter mission. You see the way it twists, it's really cool uh.

I really love these features, and then we have so many features like the scanner app feature uh. We also have, I believe, yeah. The battery saver screen recorder. Never share is obviously there. You can also take a screenshot.

You can take a scrolling screenshot or just a normal screenshot. As you can see here, scroll is written, so yeah um mini is great, but the phone needs to be optimized for using mini with it uh. So overall, I really am happy with this one. I have no problem, as my mother said, and uh overall, let me just check look. It takes quite a lot of time to load an app and yeah.

It's still loading man all right. Finally, it has loaded, ah took quite a bit of time. Anyhow, this is what it looks like. Let me just change it to the dark mode for a while. The dark isn't totally dark.

It's grayish um this wallpaper, given already by Xiaomi. I prefer the Mars one. It's perfect! You can only use this wallpaper is given by Xiaomi over here. I really like this Mars ones. I don't like this one much.

Furthermore, I like this one more. The additive uh ones are not they're just like forest, and this one. This one is one. This is. These are supposed to be live wallpapers, but they are not there any more uh.

Well, so there's nothing you can do, because obviously it is a budget phone, so they don't give each and every spec or each and every feature but uh. I really like it quite a lot and the clock is great, as you saw over there, I, like this clock, uh widget. It also shows the weather um. I haven't been using it for myself, but my mother- she just likes it. She just usually uses it casually and so for her.

Everything is okay. Um, if you guys have any question, let me know in the comments, because I don't know what else to say about this one, this phone according to the budget. It's perfect! It's great uh, however there's so many specs that you're gonna miss because obviously it's a budget look if you keep the black wallpaper. Unless I go to the light, you can't see the camera, but when I come here, look it comes to the camera, so this notch is not a big deal for my mom. But for me, it's quite a big deal.

I don't like. I don't like notches, not to say that I don't um like the convenience of them. Like you know they give me full screen, display it's okay. For me, I have no issues with this phone. I really like this phone.

I love it. The like the texture break. As I mentioned it's, it has the sound check it out yeah. So it has this weird plastic, sound and all that so yeah. The maybe camera is the most disappointing thing.

According to the budget, I preferred I would have preferred you know if they would give a better camera for this one at this time, but uh. What can you do? There's nothing you can do so yeah. I think that's it uh for the review. Anyhow, that's it for this video. I gave two different feedbacks now I hope you were.

You were able to understand the advantages and the disarray, the pros and cons of the device from two different perspective and from two different users. I really uh would love to give such feedback, but it takes a lot of time to make such video videos so yeah. I don't prefer making long videos.
