iPhone SE (2020) vs iPhone X: Don't Buy the Wrong iPhone! ($400)

Don't buy the wrong iPhone, hear me out at the iPhone 10 on the right and I have the iPhone SE on the left. This just came out the other day and both of these phones cost about $400 on the iPhone 10. You have to search on eBay it's about $400, even cheaper than that, maybe but the iPhone SE 20/20 cost 399 I'm just going to be discussing the pros and cons between these two phones and which one should you buy and which one is gonna. Give you more bang for your buck. Let's get started now the iPhone SE 20/20 has a 4.7 inch, retina LCD it has a resolution of 750 by 1334. That's basically a little higher than 720p and taking a look at the display, even closer I have to, say Apple makes one of the best LCD's in the market is very, very color accurate.

This has 625 nits of brightness, so it's not really all that bright in direct sunlight. This is not gonna, really be all that great can't even see any pixels. You know that's why they call it retina. Now, as for the iPhone 10, it has a 5.8 inch super right now, OLED display, so I, don't know about you guys, but super is definitely better than just no Super. So this has a retina LCD, and this has a super retina OLED display the iPhone 10 screen resolution is 1125 by 2436.

That's definitely a higher quality display than the SE 20/20, and also it has the same minutes of brightness, so 625 and just holding up the phone up close and personal. This is just a higher quality display. You're going to get richer blacks, vibrant colors I'm gonna actually play a video on both of the devices, so you guys can see but yeah. This is just a higher quality display in general I'm saying it's a brightness 625, but this does have Dolby Vision, HDR 10, a wide color gamut, and this phone definitely did age well and I. Don't know about you guys.

I just feel like this display is just a little brighter still, even though it has the same knits. Something about this display is brighter than this and I think it's too soon to all that. Being more vivid in terms of the colors I'm a lower down the brightness, so you guys could see a little better. Now, in terms of performance, the SE is featuring the 13 Bionic chip and with the GPU it has a four core GPU. So this is one powerful, iPhone I would say so.

Yeah you're, not gonna, have a problem with software update I'll say you have five years of software support, but it depends on the iOS update on how intensive is going to be, but for this iPhone you're not gonna, have a problem with software updates and performance whatsoever. Now, in terms of the iPhone 10, this is packed into an 11 Bionic chip, and it has three cores in terms of the GPU when this iPhone first came out in 2017, it had iOS 13 but of course, you're going to upgrade it to iOS. Thirteen point four, which is the latest version of iOS, I, believe, and I would say. You're going to have two to three more years of software, support, and I'm, just saying that in quotations, because I'm not sure how I OS is gonna, be within two or three more years, I'm, not sure, but you're still going strong, you still get the updates in 2020, and I would say 2021 to as well. Now, let's talk about the cameras.

The camera on the SE only has one single lens camera, which has a 12 megapixel F 1.8 aperture. It only has a wide, of course, but it does have a dual LED flash, and it can record up to 4k 60 frames per second, which is pretty impressive. Now in terms of the slo-mo, it goes 1080p up to 240 frames per second, it does have optical image stabilization, but I feel like it's still smoother on the iPhone 10. Now take a look at the iPhone 10. It features a dual lens camera setup both of the lens have 12 megapixels.

So that's on both lens. It has a wide and a telephoto lens. They both have optical image, stabilization it'll, cause up to 4k, 6 queries per second and the slow mode recording 1080p up to 240 frames per second similar to the iPhone SE 20/20. Now it has a quad flash instead of a dual flash and that's definitely going to be a little better. It's going to be a little more natural, so you're going to have a better flash system on the iPhone 10 compared to the iPhone SE 20/20 now the front-facing camera.

Actually, they both are similar camera setups. They both have 7 megapixels with f 2.2 aperture, but the iPhone 10 has HDR. So that's one up, but they both shoot in 1080p at 30 frames per second, so you don't have no 60 frames per second on the front facing camera on both of these phones. So when recording video, it's going to sound a little better on the SE compared to your iPhone 10. Now, just stating some similarities, they both have stereo speakers.

They both are IP 67 dust and water resistance up to one meter for 30 minutes. Also. They both have wireless charge because you have that glass back and both of these support fast charging, but it's not included inside the box. It charges a phone from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes and yeah, so be careful with the glass back because you can crack it. You know glasses, glass and glass breaks and also take a look at the side.

You have stainless steel versus an minimum or aluminum, shot to UK and minimum I think the aluminum will hold up a little better throughout time. Furthermore, you know you still have the same positioning, so you have a mute switch if I'm up and down the side button is a little longer on the iPhone 10 compared to the iPhone S II, still an iPhone that you know and love, but um you guys can see. The Apple logo is centered compared to a little on the top on the iPhone 10. You don't have any labels on the bottom away from the product red. This is the product red version, but if you take a regular iPhone color, which is the white you're, not gonna, have any logos or emblems whatsoever, giving you a cleaner design with this, you just have iPhone, which is not bad.

It's still clean silver versus white is gonna. Give you a cleaner look and silver is a more cloudy white, but with the iPhone 10 you are gonna, get MIMO jeez and an emoji. So let me pull that up, so you can create your own emoji, and you can use the animals and just send it to your friends. So you know you have you in high school. You know you want to send some emojis and an emoji.

You need to get an iPhone 10 and also that leaves me. It brings face ID, which is very, very fast. Some people prefer touch ID, but face ID is kind of effortless. You just look at your phone, and it unlocks, and you just swipe up and your unlock your phone, so very, very an efficient way, a natural way to unlock your iPhone and, of course you have that edge to edge AMOLED or OLED display and yeah. It looks gorgeous now you do have that notch and the notch is pretty big now in days, but hey the notches are status symbol now and also that leaves me.

It brings a more modern design. So if you take the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which is right here, pretty much look identical now my iPhone 10 I, normally just rock out with all-black wallpaper, so you hide the notch, but, as you guys can see here, pretty much the same size notch as the iPhone 10, so you're getting that more modern design, iPhone very, very similar to the latest and greatest iPhones. Now and also you have a larger battery. This has a 2716 William battery compared to the SE, which only has 1821 Williams. So the battery life here is kind of you know, I mean it's not really.

All that and I must say. The fingerprint scanner is no slouch here on the SE. As soon as you put your finger on the sensor, it unlocks and yeah, but for me face idea is a little more natural. Another thing too, with the iPhone 10, it brings tap to rake. So you could tap anywhere on the screen to wake up your iPhone, so I just tap anywhere, and it wakes up iPhone.

This doesn't bring it, but you do have raised awake, know, raised awake, and yet I bring that just fine, but I would say the iPhone SE is for people who don't want the new iPhone like the modern design iPhone. They can't stand the notch. They want the classic good old home button. Furthermore, they just want a classic iPhone, and this is the iPhone for you. If you don't want to transition yet to the new iPhones, but also this is just a new iPhone quote-unquote.

You can get this from Apple for 399, while the iPhone 10 you're going to have to go eBay shopping and with that it brings some risk of like buying an iCloud, lock, iPhone or you know, buying a broken iPhone or the battery life is not really gonna. Be all that great, so you're going to have to make some risk and you have to have to do some homework, and you're going to have to play your cards right for shopping this iPhone, because this is not being sold by app. My battery health percent on the iPhone 10 is 87%, which is kind of low I should replace the battery, but I had this since 2017 and, of course, the iPhone SE is gonna, have a hundred percent just because I just got this yesterday and ya, see 100% when you're buying to use iPhone 10 you have to watch out for that battery health capacity. You got to watch out for iCloud lock. You got to watch out for anything like that.

Furthermore, you came to get AppleCare on the iPhone 10 anymore, while the iPhone SE 20/20, you can get AppleCare and really honestly side-by-side. They pretty much the same height. The iPhone 10 is a little taller than you guys could see the silver, but the width is pretty much identical, so you don't have to worry about the size. It's just which design you like better at the end of the day, but me personally, I'm going with the iPhone 10 every time. If you guys want to see an iPhone SE battery test drop a like on this video and comment down below I'll be more than happy to give you guys that Rita's.

That pretty much concludes today's video comment down below. Are you team SE or team iPhone, 10 or iPhone X, as the kids call it?.
