iPhone 8 Plus Unboxing (space gray) By Ty Moss

What's up guys welcome to ties I help in this video we're going to be unboxing. The new iPhone 8 plus. This is a Space Gray model and 64 gigabytes. They call it space great I would say this is more black than anything. This is a new iPhone. It's got a bunch of new features.

Wireless charging stuff like that. It looks a lot like the last iPhone iphone7, but we're going to be a boxy in this video. So make sure you guys subscribe I'm a doing ton of videos on this thing. What that new, iPhone exit comes out very soon, anyways, let's, let's start unboxing this thing. So here it is: there's a box iPhone on the side, the Apple logo and the black box, even though it's a space for an iPhone, but we're going to call it Space Gray, because that's what they call it movie that you peel it away and it just kind of like falls apart. So there is the box set the plastic to the side here. Put that out of the way and let's open this thing up. Oh, look at that.

It's the design by Apple in California what a surprise and there it is look at I. Guess there is that new iPhone 8 plus, like a big screen, a nice new design, now I'm just getting this. This design is pretty much exactly like the last one except now. It is all glass which will take off this plastic here in a second and look at that. We'll set this to the side for now set it right there, but there it is guys.

There's the iPhone, E Plus, listen, we can see. What's in the box, it comes with some headphones. Obviously this is not Apple's air paws! It's the wired headphones! The Lightning headphones also gives you the adapter. So if you do have that boring, 3.5 millimeter headphone jack still, you can still use those headphones. We also have an apple, lightning, cable and a power.

Brick I. Don't need to take it in any of these out of the packaging really I'm, not even going to use them. I love my ear pods and yeah. These you guys are solids a ton of time, so we don't either. We don't need to talk about it again, but we're gonna.

Well, less! We'll show you what's in this. We already know if you've watched any iPhone unboxing ever welcome to iPhone it's basically just your little Quick Start info. This is kind of cool. They give you a sim ejector I always carry one of these in my backpack from the literally be very first iPhone that came out, I've still got the very first Sam ejector tool, it's kind of funny I, always he wasn't he's I'm like what, if I break my phone and I have to go, get a new one, while I'm traveling I have to have some kind of symbol, director, and I'm trying to be stuck somewhere. Alright, let's give this peel: let's listen, oh yeah! So there it is.

It looks really nice he's got the new glass back on it. Has wireless charging like I've said funny story that guy at Apple Store, I told him I wanted the Welkin charger they had. They had two models available, and I was like yeah with that one I thought it was in the bag got home was ready to like try out the charger and stuff went on unbox this thing, and he didn't throw it in the bag and charged me for it at least I didn't charge me for that was start to be charged me and Freddie opportunity, but yeah anyway, no wireless charging. They say this glass on this thing is supposed to be the strongest glass on any smartphone and honestly, like literally holding it. It does feel durable.

If that makes sense, the glass feels strong and durable. It doesn't feel like I know it feels more solid than the last iPhone 7. Alright, pretty much looks exactly the same as you can't really tell much of a difference other than like the new glass but kind of looks like the shiny, iPhone 7 doesn't really look that much different, but all right, Lenny way, let's go ahead. Move this thing up. Take a look at it here we go thing is turning on.

There goes's Apple logo, so yeah the iPhone X also comes out in like a month. I think the actual release date is November 3rd. You can buy it a little before that, unlike the 27th of October, if you want to preorder it I picked this up an Apple Store. There was no line, I want it like two o'clock now today came out and Ola I was just in Hawaii Ola. My order waits.

No, they said. There's Aloha Mahalo anyway, obviously pick up many vows in Hawaii anyway, the iPhone X comes out. It's got It's pretty much this phone except even more respected. Scott, like it's faster, it's better. It's got better battery life, better design like the size of it, it's kind of like right in the middle of both of these phones.

If you guys watched I can watch my iPhone expert type video, it pretty much looks exactly like that. I accept that was a prototype that didn't really turn on. It was just a mock-up version of it, but it looks exactly like what it what the new phone looks like and the size of it is perfect. It's like in between these two phones, like I, said, except you have a bigger screen than this one. Then the plus you have more screen space on it.

You can put it right on top of it, and you have more screen space. So it's kind of crazy, so smaller device bigger, screen, better specs, and it has an AR. It has better AR features built into the camera, so the camera has better tracking, so apple just released an art kit to develop for iPhones, and I'm, actually working on an augmented reality game which I'm not going to talk much about right now, but it is AR. So that's why I'm excited about the new iPhone. It's already amazing what we can do with AR on the iPhone, and it's only going to be even better when the new phone comes out for the iPhone X.

So, honestly, this phone is good and everything, but I would say, wait come to come out closer to this. I would say: wait for the iPhone X, even though this one is good. If you just can't wait, and you need a new phone I'll say get this one stay tuned, then I'm going to do a bunch of videos on this thing. On the wireless charging I'll compare this to the iPhone 7 + 7, + 5. You guys want me to do that.

Also, the new iPhone has faced ID, which is me pretty freaking cool, there's no home button on it and there's not going to be touch ID. The same battery life, the price I guess I- can cover that. It starts ?, 700 bucks for the iPhone 8 and then for the iPhone 8 plus you're going to pay like 800 bucks for the baseline model comes in 64 and 32 gigabyte versions are 64 and 100 256 gigabyte versions. So you basically get like quadruple a storage space for only 130 bucks, more, which is kind of worth it. That's like the biggest upgrade we have ever seen on storage space for that price. So I'll say it's kind of worth it to get that 256, gig, plus the cameras on this or better, like it's shooting, 60 frames per second at 1080p, so it's going to be taking up more space if you're, shooting high quality video I have a stay tuned, more video, more videos on this to come.
