iPhone 8 Plus Amazon Renewed Review (2020)

Hey guys Tecta mentor with another, exciting video for you guys today, I'm going to be unboxing your iPhone 8, plus for the first time from Amazon, and I'm going to show you guys how you can score some really great deal whenever you're buying from Amazon, renewed iPhones and what the condition is and if you guys are looking to buy a discounted, cheap, iPhone, 8 plus or any iPhone check out the link that I have included in the description section for you guys. Also, if you guys are looking for something- and you can't find it always, you know, put a comment down, and I'll see if I can find it and give you guys a link for that as well. So here, as you see, I have this generic cardboard box, and it came in this USPS first-class package took about three two or three days to come in, which is pretty good. I, don't have line, but still pretty fast shipping, and it was free shipping for this. One I believe I paid around three hundred and seventy-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents and, of course, I had to pay taxes for our state. So it's like four five percent, more tax that you'll have to pay depending on what state you're ordering from so let's go ahead and unbox this, for you guys also other thing I like to mention is that we're going to be doing a giveaway of one of the iPhones and if you want to enter the giveaway simply like this video and then subscribe to your channel.

So you know when we were doing the giveaway and then share this video on of your social media sites. So if you have Twitter or Instagram Facebook, whatever you use these days share this video and then comment in the comment section once you have done all the steps to enter the giveaway. If you guys are new to our channel you'll notice that we have a lot of unboxing video for you guys to show you guys how you can get. You know the latest electronics for a perfect deal from eBay Amazon I did tons of videos for unboxing. This is the first time I'm doing an iPhone, 8 plus from Amazon, so check out the other videos as well for those I'll leave some just some links in the comment section as well.

So let's go ahead and start unboxing process here, as you see here all right off the bat there's a shipping information here, I'm going to put that aside here and at the bat we're seeing this. You know it came in this smart device packaging here, and this is the iPhone 8 + 64 gay gold GSM, which means just as GSM unlock I, can use it for AT&T, T-Mobile and a bunch of other carriers. The thing about buying unlocked phones make sure that you know, of course, you've compared your phone carrier except unlocked phones, I usually buy a lot because I can take it anywhere from traveling internationally or if I switch between carriers unlock is a great way to go or if you are specifically buying for a carrier that you have make sure that it's compatible I recommend down lock. Simply for the reason that you never know when you switch between carriers, but you can always buy a carrier or lock one which means it'll work on that carrier and its parent company. So let's find this and take let's take the phone out of the box here so far, I'm seeing phone here go ahead and take it off so this summer, I think on Amazon, just the seller name, but let's go ahead and look at this phone right now.

As you see, this is the gold edition of the eight plus option right here, and it came in this packaging here. This seller name is here right here by SP, Ry, Site seller. A lot I bought some other phones from it. So far has a great experience, but I buy from a lot of sellers, I'm not affiliated with this seller at all or anything, but you can buy from any seller so check out the link in the description that up. That's why I said by the time you should check it out.

The seller might not be selling or anything but there are tons of great sellers on as well. So let's put the phone aside and take a look at the content of the VoD's, your notice there's a sim ejector, so you can put your SIM card and of course, if you decide and include that you can take a paper clip or our old earring piece and use that as a sim ejector and then also notice a generic wall adapter and a charger which works great. So we'll put that and then take a look at the phone itself here, so the phone I'm seeing right now here you know we have the plastic here: we're going to go ahead and take the plastic off so little yeah, some more unboxing for you guys. Of course this isn't the original wrapping, but they do include their version of wrapping and then in the front here go ahead, so you have token the plastic cover off, and I'm gonna. Take a quick look at the back piece.

As you see, the back here is a gold edition they plus both of the camera. This phone is probably one of the best iPhones to just day, for you guys are still kind of stuck with the legacy. Our home button definitely have a big screen great for gaming, great for just everyday use. As you see here, the back is clean, no issues there so that that stuff right there, you know good so far, the top as you see here on the side looks good, no issues and then the bottom here no issues there and then this side- and this is where you put the SIM- take that same ejector put it in there a paper clip your ink pop out the SIM tray and put your SIM card in, but for our purposes, I'm, not gonna, put a sim card in because I just want to show you guys the condition of the phone. So, as you saw the back front and the side looks good so far, the other thing to note about this phone is this seller was nice enough to already include a temporal glass on it, which is great because this cost like five ten dollars to buy on top of, but this one's already, including it for you guys.

I, really appreciate the seller doing that. So, let's go ahead and power on the phone. Hopefully, the phone has to charge sometimes guys when you buy it and for somebody that doesn't power on it has the battery symbol. It's because the phone's been in stock for a long time. You're just going to have to charge it doesn't get nervous, you're, not getting ripped off with it.

The phone works. The other thing about this phone is that, as you see right now, while it's powering on I believe these phones that are Amazon renewed, they come with a 90-day return. So if there are any issues in 90 there's almost three months, you can return it, and these phones are already factory reset and previous data of the user has been wiped out, and it's like, if you bought it from if you bought an immune from the store you'll have this kind of screen where you need to go ahead and set it up. So I'm going to go ahead and set this up for you guys here. Let's let the language, the country of course, and then hit this setup manually and for iPhones to set them up you'll need to connect to the internet, either through Wi-Fi or through your SIM card.

If you have act data on there or connect it to your laptop download, iTunes and connected there, so it can get service there. So I'm going to go ahead and put my Wi-Fi password here. So I've done that here, we're gonna, give it maybe 10 20 seconds or so what this process does is validate. The phone is good with the Apple server and, as you see we're at data and privacy, some kind of general information here touch ID. As you see, this phone does have fingerprints, so if I want to set that up, I can set that up on for our demo purposes.

Going to take way too long, so I'm just going to skip that you can come back and set that up in your setting later. So we'll do this later, and it just throws a warning. Passcode same thing: you want to either set up a passcode I'm, just not gonna. Do it just so. I can quickly go through all of this and show you guys the phone is legit and then after data, it's going to want you to restore if you have a backup from iCloud or Mac or PC, or if you late.

If you put it up phone like, if you have an old one, you upgrade. If you put aside by side, it should recognize it. I have done that other was pretty cool, it does appear to peer data transfer, or you can get it from Android if you for switching over to iPhones or just simply choose not to do that, you can do that later as well, and then Apple ID, as you know if you're using iPhone you're gonna, want to create an Apple, ID or sign in to your existing Apple ID, to use iCloud to download apps from the App Store to play. Apple, music, FaceTime, iMessage I have wallet all of that stuff, simply sign in to your iCloud, and if you forgot the password, you can reset the password or if you need an Apple ID, it's free to create simply just follow the steps, and you'll be able to create one where you can come back later in the setting and to do that for our cases, because I'm demoing this for you guys just gonna, skip through all of that, and then terms of conditional legal stuff, I'm gonna here to agree. Express settings here and just going to hit continue with all of this and all of this I'm just going to hit and then Siri, of course, a voice assistant for all iPhones.

You can set that up if you set it up and asking you for five different commands, I just for the video times' sake, I'm just going to go through all of that and then app analytics. You can read through all of this when you set it up light versus dark, morally, pretty standard for most phones. What do you want to do? You can also set this up so that it's automatically turned on to dark when it's sunset and then becomes light when its sunrises cool feature you can do in the settings and then the home button of Porsche can customize it and then zoom versus non zoom for accessibility, and we have welcome to the iPhone screen here and, as you see, we were able to get to the phone screen no issue whatsoever. So far it looks good. The phone is working, no issues whatsoever, but quick test I like to do, although they are fully functional, is I, usually just check the buttons here to make sure they work.

Volume up, volume down, work, silent button were, and then the home button here works and then the power button on the side works no issues, and then we can go up on the camera app as a quick test. The back camera, as you see here, works no issues front. Camera works, no issues so and for some reason, if you have any issues like something's, not working simply return the phone and get your money back in order, another one guys and then a quick test to make sure there's a genuine phone. This is a dummy testing. The other test you can do, of course, is go to the Apple Store, and it should take you to that real Apple Store.

If it's a fake phone, it will take you to some Google Play Store or some kind of Android Play Store right off the bat. You know: that's a fake phone, but you'll notice. Of course, you'll have to sign in to your account here to even download it, which you have to do that. If you did that in the setup process, it will be already logged in so there you know that's good and then the other thing you're going to want to take a note of is, of course, people asked about the battery life, so I'm going to show you as a battery life here 88%, which is excellent for a used phone, because it's going to have some usage. Of course, if you buy a new phone, it's 100%, a lot of phones, I bought on me on Amazon I, usually see them to be at least what like, 90 and, above which you know this phone's battery stores lots of life.

Your Apple recommends changing it around 70 or below, so you're gonna. Be you get for a long time, no issue there as well. So hopefully, this review of unboxing is helpful if you guys are looking to buy a cheap, iPhone 8 from Amazon check out the link that I included in the description also to enter the giveaway simply LIKE. This video share this video in your social media sites and then subscribe to our Channel and comment once you have done all of that, thanks for watching guys.
