iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Unboxing and First Impressions

Yo, what's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're gonna. Do a quick unboxing of the brand new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus now I know I hate talking about specs, and this is one of those times that unless you didn't pay your phone bill, you have seen event. You know the specs already, but I'll leave them in the description. Just in case now, I do have to talk about my most important spec, the price. Now the iPhone 8 is available in two different versions. You got 64 gigs, that's going to run you 700 bucks, and you got 256 gigs.

That's going to run you 850 bucks. Now the iPhone 8 plus same two versions: 64 gigs, that's gonna, run you 800 bucks and 256 gigs. That's going to run you 950 bucks, so you got another $1000 phone in the building. Now these phones are available in three different colors. You got gold silver and Space Gray, no more jet black, which is cool, because anybody that had the jet black will tell you that phone scratches up way too easy.

But my thing is no more black. Now I'm a little disappointed because this was my favorite color iPhone. Now, what's the difference between the iPhone 7 and 7 plus and the 8 and 8 plus, where you got some new upgrades, you got some upgrades in your camera. You got wireless charging, you got the glass back, and you got a better processor other than that the phone is the same dimensions, which is a good thing. So all your cases and accessories will still work alright.

So let's check these out shout to white shoes back in the building, alright. So, let's start off with the iPhone 8. Now, if you notice the gold color box is a little different from the iPhone 8 I have the 8 and 8 plus the gold. Color is a little different from the silver color box. Now the silver and Space Gray did both come in a white box.

The goal comes in. This kind of cream is color box. So that's another change. I saw this pot. That's don't want to see what it is alright.

So here we go now. You all know I like a nice box, dignity who doesn't- and this is a nice clean white box, simple Apple presentation now ya, see I went with 64 gigs, now, I'm, really looking forward to the iPhone 10, so reason to get 256 gigs for me on this one. Alright. So let's check this out inside. Let's see you get your usual books and pluck them follow them to the side.

You get your Apple troll stickers, so anybody that you know that has a Galaxy Note. You know what to do and here's your phone now. This is 4.7 inches right, 4.7, inches, basically the same exact size as the iPhone 7. Now the iPhone set on iPhone 8. It does feel a little more heavy, but it does feel more premium.

I love the glass back reminiscent of the old-school, I phone feel so good in the hands. Ladies, you know the procedures. Let's see what else you get inside the box. There's your Apple earbuds! Here's your lightning adapter this! How you're going to plug your headphones in? It's a charging, cable charging, brick and your Lightning charging cable! That's pretty much it now! For the big boss, iPhone 8, plus now we went with the gold color on this one same thing: 64 gigs I, don't plan on using this phone too much, especially when 10 comes out, then we're going to switch over alright. Now let me search these proof.

The table real, quick shout out to white shoes, gotta hide all the dongle. So here we go iPhone 8 plus inside usual books. This plug them follow them to the side, and you got your Apple troll stickers, iPhone, 8 plus, say it with me: yeah rock one, more rock beautiful, back up search, so people want to see. So this is the troll. Now the glass back on this, it looks beautiful this one kind of looks like a rose gold color, not the old-school, I phone gold.

You know the solid gold, but it looks beautiful now. You'll see that glass reflecting love it all right. Here's the charging, brick your earbuds dongle and your lightning adapter now park's, please I'm going to power. These on I'll, put my information in, and we'll breeze through the OS talk amongst ourselves, all right John. So we back in now, I just put my information in the phone I've been playing around with them for a few minutes and I got to be honest with job.

I am definitely feeling these phones. Now, if you'd like I owe s, and you like the iPhone, and you're into the whole Apple ecosystem, then you're going to love these more of the same now. Apples theory. If it ain't broke, don't fix it well, they definitely didn't fix it. Now they did add some extra upgrades.

You got wireless charging, and you got my favorite upgrade the build quality now you all know how I feel about the glass back phones. This phone is a little more heavy, but it definitely feels way more premium than last year's version. Now, on the side, note, if you got a seven or seven plus, don't expect to be blown away, especially if you did upgrade to iOS 11, then it's just minor upgrades. Now, let's check these out real quick on the front. You got your front facing camera.

You got the same home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, which works flawlessly on one side. Furthermore, you got your power button, another side, you got your fire brake on and off switch your volume up and down your SIM tray on the bottom. Furthermore, you got your speaker, your lightning adapter, and, on the back, you got your dual cameras and your flash. The glass back is everything on this phone. Now with the iPhone 8, no dual cameras, everything else is the same, all right.

So, let's breathe through the OS real quick. Now you do have your new toggles' menu swipe up from the bottom looks a little different. One thing: a lot of people was asking me about: iOS 11 is auto brightness. Now, if you notice, if you did the upgrade, you don't have that auto brightness toggle anymore, let's go to settings. I'll show you what I'm talking about.

If you go to display and brightness, you notice, the auto brightness toggle is going now. You got your true tone now you can still set auto brightness you're, just going to have to go to accessibility, so you're going to go to general, go to accessibility, go to display accommodations and there's your auto brightness. Now, for me, I like to leave that off because I like my phone and stay at max brightness what else? Let's take a look at the camera, now, basically the same setup, but when you go to portrait mode now you got your different portrait mode lighting, so you got studio lights stage light you got stage like mono, custom lights and natural light. Now we'll do a full test with this camera, and we'll play with it and see if it's worth to upgrade or not because I know that's the number one question everybody's going to ask is: if you got a seven plus, should you get an 8 plus or if you got a 7, should you get an 8 give me about a week, I'll, let you all know and when I do the full review. If it's worth or not now, one thing I do want to test.

Let's check out the speakers real, quick, all right. So let's take it over the bike. Life! Listen to these speakers! Now, whether you love the iPhone or you hate it. You have to admit these speakers are crazy, not just from the bottom, so I'll cover the bottom. You see you're still playing from the top, so you got dual speakers beautiful display, boringness, alright, so let's take it over to the camera.

Now you got all your basic settings. You got your flash on and off your live photos. You got your time up or your Instagram filters. Now, here's all your different modes. You got time-lapse, slow motion, video photo portrait mode.

Now the iPhone 8, no portrait mode, because you don't have the dual camera setup. You got square and panoramic shots. Now, let's see how fast this is point-and-shoot, just like that pictures come out beautiful. Now this is a lot of photos. You see, live folder, you just hold it down.

That's pretty dope! Now one thing I want to show you check this out. Look at portrait mode now between this and the Galaxy Note 8. These are the two best portrait mode cameras on the market. Apple knows how to do it. Your Snapchat and Instagram game is about to be lit.

Now. Here's a couple of things I want to mention one of the major upgrades with Darya Phone 8 and the 8 plus now you're getting Wireless charge. That is a huge upgrade shoutout to everybody with Android phones. I know Wireless charge on dick. Now, here's another nice little touch, all of your old accessories will work.

So if you upgrade from the 7 to the 8th, all your cases will slap right on just like that. Now this is an iPhone 7 plus Cape case iPhone, 8 plus slaps right on. Let's check, Wireless charge right through the case now, I'll do a little size comparison. Some people like to see that. So let me grab some phones all right, so the iPhone 8 is a little on the small side, so we'll compare it to some other small phones.

That's out: I phone 7, vs, iPhone, 8, exactly the same size and with same dimensions: LG G, 6, iPhone, 8, both glass back phones, iPhone 8, is a little shorter and not as wide I phone eight versus a central phone. Now this is one of my favorite small Android phones. Almost the same height, almost the same width, iPhone 8 vs galaxy s 8. Now the Galaxy S8 is a little taller. Basically the same width and iPhone 8 versus my favorite, the most beautiful phone of the year, the HTC u11.

Now the U 11 is a lot taller and a little wider, but definitely more beautiful, I never scrapped the iPhone 8 and will do a size comparison. Alright, so the iPhone 8 plus this is one of the bigger phones out, so we're compared to some other big phones, iPhone 8, plus vs. iPhone, 7 plus same exact size, same dimensions about time to get rid of that skin, iPhone, 8, plus vs. LG v20, basically, the same height and the same with iPhone 8, plus vs. LG v 30.

Now the V 30 is a little shorter and not as wide. Now on the side, note everybody keep asking me when am I going to do. The real review on this I got to get a retail version. First, I, don't want to review a demo unit. iPhone 8 plus vs.

Google picks with X out iPhone 8 plus, is a little taller and a little wider iPhone 8, plus vs. motor, z-force ?, basically, the same height and the same with iPhone 8, plus vs. galaxy s, 8, plus, basically the same height. The 8 plus is a little more narrow and, of course, iPhone 8 plus versus the big boy that heavy-hitter the Galaxy Note 8, ok, Galaxy, Note 8 is a little taller and not as wide anyway wireless charging OLED display. Is it an upgrade you'll, be the judge hit me up in the comments.
