iPhone 8 / 8 Plus: No Sound on Games or Video? FIXED!!!! By WorldofTech

Hey, what is going on guys, so you have a iPhone, 8 or 8 plus, and you have an issue with some games or video where there's no sound, even if you increase the volume all the way up, there's still no sound will give you a bunch of solution is to get your iPhone 8 back up and running. Ok, so first thing is this: let's just go to settings here, and then you want to go to Bluetooth here and what I want you going to do is go ahead and turn the measures off. First now, I want to go ahead and turn it on off now make sure it's in the off position now go ahead and bring up the video of the game, and hopefully you have sound if not we're going to go to the next option now, for the next thing is we want to go back into settings here and this time we want to go down to where it says, do not disturb tap on, do not disturb and then from here, so do not disturb up here. I want you to turn it on off and with schedule same thing on off now, go ahead and bring up the game or the video, and you should have sound if not we're going to go to the next option. Next thing to do is to make sure all of your background running apps are closed because it's possible. One of those apps are interfering with your sound, so double-click on the home button, and these are all the background apps that you currently have open.

Ok, so go ahead to close them, you just swipe up. Okay, so swipe up up, you might have 30 or 40 apps open, make sure it just keeps swiping up close every single one of them, then, once they are all closed put on your game or your video, and hopefully you have sound if not we're going to go to the next step. Now this next step here is its possible that your phone thinks that it is in headphone mode. So what I want you to do is go ahead and grab your earbuds, and you connect your iPhone 8 through the lightning connector. Here, so what I want you to do is pop it in and out.

The thing is: if you don't have one of these lying around, sometimes they work for me just using a regular power plug a lightning connector, ok with the USB. Sometimes that works as well. Anyways go ahead and grab the earbuds, and what I want you to do is press in-out, in-out, and then I want you to blow inside the charging port and then go ahead and try your game or your video, and hopefully it's up.
