iPhone 12 vs Samsung S20 FE vs OnePlus 8T Ultimate Camera Test Comparison !

What is up guys welcome back to the channel. This is Dr harness tech. So today we have here the OnePlus, 8t, iPhone shelf and s30 Fe. So what we're going to do is basically put some photos, some videos side by side with each other, and we're gonna just nitpick, because that's just what we do and see which one does give you the overall, better quality photo or video right now, it's being recorded at 1080p at 30fps on the front camera. So do let me know in the comments down below which one you guys think is doing better in terms of color and everything else. So let's get right into it.

So I did take a bunch of photos over here because individually, each phone will give you amazing, amazing shots, and it's very hard to nitpick anything. But of course, when you put them side by side with each other, you get to see some key differences, and you get to nitpick, and that is what we are going to do in kind of day shots with a lot of natural light. They do give you very, very similar images and quality. Even when you crop in most of the time, you will get the same amount of details on all three phones over here, you can see. Dynamic range is handled pretty well on all three phones.

The iPhone 12, does have that smart HDR. But, to be honest, I do feel that the s20, Fe and 80 does a better job with the shadows on the trees. At the back over here we're going to see some shots and on the 8t it does have a 48 megapixel shooter, and you can actually activate it and when you crop it into most of the shots, you're going to see it does preserve more details. Again here are some more outdoor shots, and you can see details. Color is very well-preserved on all three phones.

Now we go to some indoor industrials, and you can see the iPhone. Shaft is more natural, and it does follow the actual setting. The s20 Fe does have a more popping, more saturated, more contrast, look, whereas on the 8t kind of goes back and forth. Sometimes it's really, really good. Sometimes it does look pretty dull compared to the other two phones, color rendering again kind of color capture, is perfect on all three phones again, and I have to say and looking at these details, you can see here amazing details from all these three phones.

The OnePlus 80, does have a dedicated macro shooter. But to be honest, I don't really like to use it, because the quality coming out from this is awful and most of the time I have to deactivate it because you can see from here. It does really look very good, comparing this again with the other two phones. The quality is really, really similar and, to be honest, the macro shooter is pretty much useless over here you can see again the colors, it does look more saturated and more contrasting on the s20 Fe iPhone shaft is more natural and the OnePlus 8t kind of follows suit. Now, let's check out some portrait shots and I would personally go for the s20 Fe.

It does feel more balanced compared to the other two phones, the iPhone 12, does give me a more contrast and saturated look. Making me look a bit more orange, whereas on the OnePlus 8t, you can see that it's a bit more washed out, and it does lose more details with that skin spurning effect, although I did try to turn off a lot of these options at the settings menu, I would say when it comes to the subject: separation. The iPhone 12 does better when it comes to dynamic range and natural colors. I would say that the s20 Fe does have that more balance shot on the iPhone shelf. It does have more details, and it does look a bit more foppish, but when it comes to the 80, I would say it's a bit more washed out again in most of these shots, and it does lose more details under trickier lighting conditions.

I would say the iPhone shelf does struggle a little. The dynamic range is definitely handled better on the 80 and s20 Fe. But of course, do let me know in the comments down below which one you think takes the better portrait. Shots, dynamic range and stability is pretty good on all three phones, but on the s20, Fe and OnePlus 80. They do have an extra feature of going ultra steady, which will be helpful if you're going to take shots like this, when you're running a lot or trying to catch something, and it does have that amazing feature which I really do like.

So when it comes to selfie shots, I feel with the OnePlus 8t it's one of their major strengths. It does give you a nicer balance compared to the s20 FM and iPhone 12. , the s20 fee and average of they do. Give you very good detailed shots. But, as you can see here on the iPhone 12, my skin tone is a little off compared to the other two phones on the s20 Fe.

It does give you very, very good details, but when it comes to the overall balance, I do feel that the OnePlus 8t actually does pretty well and in the same fashion, when it comes to harsh lighting conditions. I have to say that the iPhone 12 doesn't really handle the dynamic range as well, but I do like the fact that these three phones here they do trade blows pretty well because on the 80s, sometimes it does have a little more skin smoothening. Although I did turn off that feature, whereas on the s20 Fe under darker conditions, it does lose a lot more details compared to the other two phones, whereas on the iPhone shelf. Sometimes it does have a good balance in indoor settings. Dynamic range also is a mixed bag, but I do feel that with the s20 Fe and OnePlus 80 is a little more consistent compared to the iPhone 12 which you can see over here on my shadows, it does lose a little more detail and, as you can see here, times are bad, so I can only afford a half mask, and you can see that the iPhone 12 actually does handle the red color a bit better compared to the OnePlus, 8t and s20fe subject.

Separation is pretty good on all three phones, but I have to say on the iPhone 12, it does have a smoother transition to the background, whereas on the s20 Fe its second place on the 8t, it does have a little more aggressiveness when it comes to that background, blur again on all of these three phones, you are able to change the background settings when you're taking the shot, but only the s20 Fe is able to change the background settings after the shot is taken. The iPhone shelf and s20 Fe does have a 12 megapixel main lens and a 12 megapixel ultra white, but the Fe does have that extra telephoto lens on the OnePlus 8t. You have your 48 megapixel main shooter, 16 megapixel ultra-wide and your macro and depth camera, which, to be honest, doesn't really make much of a difference. Shots taken with the mainland is definitely pretty similar on all three phones and does give you good shots, but with the ultra-wide I would say, with the OnePlus 8t, it's significantly different in a bad way, and it doesn't really hold them in terms of dynamic range and details compared to the s20 Fe and iPhone 12. The s20 Fe does have three times of optical zoom, whereas on the iPhone 12 and OnePlus 8t, you got to use the digital zoom to go in at about two times, but it does have their maximum value, and I would say personally that the s20 Fe does look, of course better compared to the iPhone 12 and 80, which does look a bit more processed compared to the Fe.

It's a short taken at five time. Zoom and do let me know in the comments down below which one does look better. The s20 fee can max out at 30 times, zoom the iPhone shelf at five time zoom and the OnePlus 8t at 10 time zoom. So if you're, a guy that likes to take a lot of zoom shots, this may be a deciding factor for you guys so, hey guys here we have the OnePlus 8t, iPhone, 12 mini and the galaxy s 20 Fe and immediately, I have to say the iPhone.12 is definitely thumping the rest of these two here. It's so much clearer, it's so much better and the worse, I would say, goes to the OnePlus 8t, the color, rendering it's very soft, and you can see here it's very, very yellow, and I am super impressed with the iPhone 12, the s20 Fe, it's a bit of in the middle, the iPhone SE.

The s20 Fe is a little in the middle, but definitely the best here goes to the iPhone 12. I'm gonna check out the white balance on the lights at the back and, as you can see there, on the s20 Fe and also the OnePlus 8t, the white balance on the lights there. You can see it's very blue, it's very, very off, but you can see on the iPhone 12. It is doing really, really well, and I'm super impressed with it, but do note with the iPhone 12 you have this lighting on the screen. I'm not sure why I tried to record multiple times at different settings, but it still does give me the light sometimes, and it's a bit annoying, but it does give you the best overall video.

So now, let's check out some night shots on all these three phones, and I have to say on all these three companies over here. They have definitely improved their nine shots when it comes to software processing over the past year or so, but I have to give it to the Samsung phones and the Apple iPhone shelves, because they do a much better job when it comes to night shots. I know it's all about speed with the OnePlus phones, but I feel when it comes to night shots. They should take a little more time when it comes to taking better crispier shots over here on the iPhone shelf and s20 Fe. They usually have a custom timer that you can set, but with the nights cape feature, I wish that they could have just implemented this instead of giving us like a two-second window to capture night shots in most of these shots, I'm going to say it's between the iPhone self and s20 Fe.

Sometimes the iPhone 12 does give you sharper images, but when it comes to some other shots, the s20 Fe does give you better dynamic range again on the OnePlus 8t with their shortened exposure time. It does give you a little more blown up photos, so it does lose a little more details and the image is pretty noisy and with many of us actually staying at home, crime rate has definitely dropped, and you can see here. Batman is pretty free in this shot. I would say that the s20, Fe and iPhone shelf definitely does give you a much better shot on the 8t. You can see it's very noisy and back over there, it's very blown out and in my spare time I'm actually the private photographer for spider-man, and I would say the 80 does look better because it's brighter compared to the other two phones, but it is noisier, and it does lose more details compared to the s20 Fe and iPhone 12.

So one thing that phone companies are now trying to do is to implement their night mode on their ultra white lens and, as you can see here, there is a remarkable difference between the main lens and ultra-wide out. All of these three phones over here the biggest of course, goes to the OnePlus 8t on the ultra white. It is barely even usable as you can see, it loses a lot of details. The dynamic range is really off and the colors are just really too dark. And lastly, over here on the s20 Fe, it's able to take night shots with its telephoto lens on the iPhone shelf.

It doesn't have a telephoto lens, but it's able to use its digital zoom, unlike the OnePlus 8t photos here are pretty grainy and soft, but I hope in the future they will improve the night mode here on the telephoto camera, so that is it. This is the camera comparison test between the s20, Fe, iPhone, 12 and OnePlus 8t. Do let me know in the comments down below which one you think does better for me. Personally, I would go with the s20 Fe. It is the most balanced for me, but do of course let me know, because that is just my opinion and of course, if you're using any of these phones, do I tell me: what's your experience about it so far, so that is it if you did enjoy this video, do click the like and smash that subscribe button down below for more videos like this in the future.
