iPhone 12 vs iPhone 12 mini By PMHK

Hey guys finish hear hear, obviously, and in this video we're going to be making a comparison between the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12. This is the standard iPhone 12 the 6.1 inch versus the full, the 5.4 inch iPhone mini. Now I have them both in the blue colorway, which is actually one of my favorite colors that this device comes at and just to give you guys uh an initial impression. I actually made an unboxing and impressions video of both these devices, the latest one, was actually on the iPhone 12. I'm going to link those down in the description, and I'm also going to put an eye card up here, so you guys can check out. Maybe you go, you check that one and then come back to this one but anyways.

I have both devices in hand and as much as this device here, because this is my personal phone as much as this device really feels like it's meant to be a smartphone, if I can even put it that way, having the other phone on the side next to it makes me wonder if this is actually the right size for me to go with, but I still love the iPhone 12 mini. I must tell you, but at the end of the video I'm actually going to tell you guys, which one if I had to change uh, would I stay on the iPhone 12 mini, or would I go with the iPhone 12 standard now just physical size, comparison that I can see they? This one is much bigger than this one by a couple of inches, not really that far off they are picking similar design, the new boxy kind of shape, design that you can actually extend them on a flat surface. I actually always do this standing test. When I see these phones, they both have power buttons on the right hand, side, because I mean this is just an extended version of this one. They, the power button, is, on the left, hand, side and the no right and the power button is on the right hand, side and, on the left hand, side.

You have the power up and down button, as well as the silent, rocker or the silent switch, and you have some antenna lines also on the side and on the top and the bottom, you are still using lightning connector and in terms of the speaker, grille, the iPhone 12 mini only has four, but the iPhone of 12 standard has five of them. Let me just count one two, three, four: five: it has five of them. Obviously that means that it's going to be a little louder than the iPhone 12 million. Now something that I mentioned on my unboxing and first impressions of this guy here. This is a'm assuming it's a South African version of the iPhone 12, and this is the one that I got from the state and, as you guys can see, the one that I got from the state comes with a little 5g antenna on the side which the iPhone 12 actually doesn't come with, and also you can see that the iPhone 12, the one that is made here still has those CE and the trash bin icon on the side.

But the iPhone 12 that I got from the state actually comes clean, no writing or whatsoever on it. So this simply means that, in terms of 5g, I'm pretty sure this guy won't be able to take advantage of the 5g speeds, but my iPhone 5 will do and at the back you have the two camera wide and ultra-wide you have flash and they both also capable of charging wirelessly using their New Mexico. iPhone again, I know somebody's gonna, try and correct me in the comments. I know that make safe used to be a feature on the previous max before they actually updated to the USB on the mac. It was there uh just in case.

One of you is actually thinking of already correcting me. Oh, it's not a brand-new technology, since you guys know more than me anyway. So let me actually give you guys some spec as listed on the Apple website. I'm going to grab my high sense here so uh. They all come in five colors uh, the first one being the blue one that I have here.

They also have green red and white and black. This is only on the uh 12 devices. The 12 pro also comes with other colors, which I'm actually going to have a video on the iPhone 12 Pro max. That's if it's not already out, but if it's already out, I'm going to have it link in the description for you guys all right. So the big one, the iPhone 12 is 6.1 inch and, as I mentioned, the iPhone 12 mini is 5.4. They both have a super retina Dr display, hey.

They both come in 5g, but I'm thinking that here in South Africa we're still not going to get 5g so far, or maybe we'll get the normal 5g, which is the slow one. I think that's the sub 6 gigahertz, and then you have the other one, which is the first one just forgot, which one is which, but again one is fast, and the other one is slow. And then you have two ultra-wide camerae, two cameras at the back, one being the ultra-wide and the other being the y. They both support Dolby Vision. They both have HDR recording at up to 30 frames per second, they have two times optical zoom range both come with the a14 bionic chip, which is the fastest chip in a smartphone according to apple.

But I mean I don't think they like. The iPhone 12 will take you to up to 17 hours of video playback while the iPhone 12, meaning it's only 15 hours. They both have face ID. They both have a ceramic shield front, and they have four times better drop performance. Then obviously their predecessors, they have an aerospace, great aluminum body.

This is, I think, the frame of the device they are water resistant. They both support the make safe wireless charging. As I mentioned, they come in three different size, 6, 428 and 256 gigs. Now, just to give you guys a little of the display specification, it comes with the super retina HDR 6.1 inch diagonal all screen all lead. Obviously the mean is going to be a 5.4 inch, one eternity later now to answer the question: if I'd switch from the iPhone 12 million to the iPhone at 12, I would put it this way. If I had to do it all over again and have to decide which phone I would buy, I would still buy the iPhone 12 mini simply because this is the first time apple makes a phone the size, a brand-new phone, this size, which actually has similar features to their standard phones, size, which is a 6.1 inch. I would still actually go back and buy the same phone now that I've used this phone and experiences this phone.

I really think I'm ready to change up to the iPhone 12 and maybe try living with this phone uh. Just because, obviously I am a tech YouTuber and I have to use these phones just to be able to give you guys, feedback and recommend on which one you would buy now. As for you guys, if you are just a normal user, if I had to recommend which one to buy first, I would say: go to an Apple Store and check both sizes and see which one uh you like the most now, if you really can't do that, what I would say is if you are coming from those older iPhones, the one which still had the big bezels, and it's the standard and not a plus version, and you like your small phone. Obviously I would really say to stick to the iPhone 12 mini because it's still the same size as an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 7, or even an iPhone 8 standard size, not a plus, but if you're coming from the iPhone 11 or, if you're, coming from any plus model and that's the phone that you like. I wouldn't advise any of you guys to actually go and buy the smaller one, because it's going to really feel very, very small, and I would advise you guys to buy the iPhone 12 as standard so yeah there.

You have it I'm going to make more comparisons between these guys and maybe the iPhone 12 Pro max, which should be much bigger than this one. I think that one is going for 6.5 inch, but yeah expect that video really, really soon and that's gonna, be it for this one make sure if you're not already subscribed to the channel, you go.
