iPhone 12 Mini - REAL LIFE Battery Test + Gaming Battery Test

What's up guys high here from high tech reviews, so here is a quick update on my experience with the iPhone 12 minis battery life. Now I've installed all my apps games, social media with my main sim card inserted, and it's a 4g sim with all settings on Wi-Fi Bluetooth, data location, background, app, refresh, etc. Everything is on, as I would normally use now. The battery size is 2 27, William hours first day of usage started at 100 battery. Just before 6 am, I would say, medium usage. I tried to use the phone and, as normally as I could, I was not trying to kill the battery so watching on and off YouTube videos.

Throughout the day I also ran an tutu benchmark test a few times, and then I accidentally left the result screen on for too long by accident, so it shows 47 minutes of an tutu. I played with the camera for just under an hour videos and photos and some light social media and WhatsApp. Throughout the day now the phone was at one percent battery at four pm, so six am to four pm equals 10-hour battery life with four hours of on-screen time, so that was the result with everything on normal usage. So for my second day battery test, I decided to do it differently. This is an abnormal phone.

It's the most powerful chipset OLED display in a tiny form factor the battery was destined to take a hit for the battery test number two. I still kept everything on so Wi-Fi Bluetooth data everything is on, but this time I activate the low power mode, and in case you don't know, low power mode reduces the background activity which constantly checks for app updates, downloads, emails, etc. So, with low power mode activated, I started a hundred percent at nine am with medium normal usage, and you can see my usage. It's just over one hour, 20 minutes of Waze one hour of YouTube, 45 minutes of checking out the photo gallery, sharing, editing, etc.25 minutes of recording 4k video and some social media and web browsing so 9 a. m to 9 30 p.

m. Just over 12 hours of battery life with four hours and 45 minutes of screen on time, so it looks like four hours of on-screen time is the realistic average you can expect low power mode gave me two hours of extra battery life, so that's 12 hours of battery with low power mode on and 10 hours in normal mode. Now, let's talk about battery charging. The iPhone 12 mini supports fast charging, and I use my iPhone 11 Pro max's fast charger, and it took around 30 minutes to get from zero to 70 percent, which was amazing, but to get to a full hundred percent. It took a total of one hour and 30 minutes to charge that small 2 227 William hour battery, so now it's time to test out the battery performance when playing a graphic, intense game like Call of Duty mobile.

So before I started playing, I checked the battery and I had a 74 battery. Low power mode is also active, and I played three games of Call of Duty, and then I checked the battery level after my third game, and it went down to 66 percent. So that's an eight percent drop playing three games lasting around 10 minutes. Each so 30 minutes of online Call of Duty mobile will cost you eight percent battery, which is actually not bad. This is how it translates to.

Of course, this will not be entirely accurate, as many factors, including overheating, can cause the battery to deplete even quicker, so take this info with a pinch of salt, but generally gaming performance was actually very good, but I have no problem doing a 30 minute, quick charge to 70 and then carry on my gaming sessions. So, in my experience with the iPhone 12 mini battery life is okay. It's average. It's mediocre, it's not terrible, but it's also not great either. Now we are all used to having big phones with big batteries.

This will definitely feel like a downgrade in the battery department, but for some reason I don't feel like sending this phone back. I absolutely love having a superb camera, great performance and love that tiny form factor that I'm actually okay to compromise. With the battery I'm happy to change my settings use low power mode. I don't need constant notifications. Hassling me anyway, so maybe switch off some notifications, I'm happy to compromise with some settings to make this phone work for me.

Overall experience and battery life is actually slightly better than the iPhone SE and the iPhone 8. Apple quoted 15 hours of video playback, which does not look possible to be realistic. So I hope you found this video useful. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next one you.
